I love this product...But don't exceed more then three cans a day. It will glog up your sinuses. fills you full of flem. Just like anything else. to much is not a good thing.

This was the first energy drink I ever tried besides straight coffee or mountain dew. I was feeling down and unmotivated and I drank about a fourth of this can (half a serving) and began to feel alert and that my mind was clearer. I got up the energy to weed wack my yard for 4 hours straight without stopping. This stuff is powerful and tastes great. I am gonna try buying it in bulk. I can't imagine a better replacement to coffee and moutain dew that I drink all the time. I recommend trying a can.

Don't give credit where it isn't due. Monster tastes absolutely noxious. Tonight I picked out it and a Hansen's Energy Pro. I drank the Hansen's, and it tasted decent. But when I followed it up with the Monster, I pretty much felt sick to my stomach. Monster definitely tastes worse than Rock Star (which I was into for a little while, but now I feel sick even thinking about it - the same effect I got from literally 4 sips of Monster).

I'd definitely say that Bawls, Omega, and Piranha are way better than Monster, if you're looking for a solid, non-disgusting energy drink.

The monster and monster lo-carb are pretty good sources of energy, plus they make you pee neon green which looks cool. Other than that i've heard lots of bad things about Taurine, but you cannot really find any good information out there on these energy drinks that have Taurine as a ingredient. I know people who have drank alot of energy drinks that eventually got Kidney stones, I was wondering if anyone has heard about this? Also any possible long term heart effects such as high blood pressure or failure? I heard about some kids in Europe who had heart attacks drinking these types of drinks. I usually do not consume more than 2 servings in a day..so maybe if you over do it you die??

Bigger is not better. how dumb to have two servings. obviously they are taking advantage of you peoples greed rather than producing a drink that is good for you. a real energy drink should be able to do the trick in 8.3 fl. ounces which is the recommended dosage for a normal human being. also, some of the ingredients found in Monster do not naturally occur in the body (such as ginseng, which can cause Headaches, insomnia, anxiety, skin rashes, asthma attacks, increased blood pressure, diarrhea, euphoria, nervousness, skin eruptions, heart palpitations) this might explain why some of you guys say can't sleep or get headaches.

actually amanda not everything in redbull is natural hence the caffeine in it. Which many people thing can be quite bad for us, not to mention addicting. Which shows how much research you have done. I will say it is true that some people have adverse effects to ginseng and such, but many people are highly sensitive to caffeine and it causes problems for them as well, actual almost the same ones as you listed, headaches, sleeplessness, heart palpetations, and nausia. As for your comment of 8.3 oz is the recommended dosage that doesnt make any sense, the recommended dosage would have to be based off caffeine content or other ingredient content no how many ozs a drink is. 8.3 oz of monster contain lesse caffiene than redbull a for monster is about 1.8 redbulls in terms of caffeine. Drinking 3 coffees is the same caffeine as a monster and MANY people do that.

I will give you that redbull invented this market though. They still make a greant product and if ginseng causes problems for you it is probably a better drink, but it is far from all natural and is still loaded with far to much sugar (as is monster) to be considered healthy. i do love monster..its amazing..but;

i had a serious speed addiction and just recently was arrested for possession of narcotics, and court-ordered me to rehab..i was DYING the first few days of being clean. then i was introuduced to monster, and although i was still experiencing slight effects of withdrawl,monster made it EXTREMELY easier to deal with.

i guess you could say that is a good thing, but the only reason it made the withdrawl easier was because it gave me the effects that speed gave me. every day i wake up, i am unable to do anything until i have my monster, and then i have to continue with at the least 3 or 4 more througout the day.

im ashamed to say this, but i havent gone one day without this drink since ive been off speed. and i dont know if i could go without it, frankly, im scared to even see how i would be without it.

what im trying to say, this drink is without a doubt a great pick-me-up, but it should only be used in moderation, because, reading this page its clear im not the only one who finds it at least somewhat addicting..and could possibly make younger kids vuenrable to an early addiction,and if they are to ever try speed, they are that much more susceptible to becoming addicted to it--as if speed isnt already addictive enough.

I have tried about 10 differnt drinks out on the market. Its not easy to get some of the ones listed on this site in my area. The one that tops them all by far at this point is monster. Every one that says to me they dont like the way energy drinks taste i tell them drink a monster. It will change your opinion. And the best thing is the lo carb version is just as good tasting. So many low or no carb versions are horrible. I cant stand the way drinks like red bull taste. That chalky taste makes it undrinkable to me.

Yeah, I think XS is probably the best tasting energy drink out now. It has a great taste and yet has very little carbs, most likely less than any other energy drink out now. Plus each of them has a great taste and cost slitely less than red bull. The B-Vitamins in this drink is probably the best part about it.

WOW!!! Just got into energy drinks a bit ago, doing several tests lately to determine in what ways, and how much certain energy-drinks affect your performence.

One of my tests is the bench press, basically I am a scronny 15 yr old who ways 130 lbs, I find extreme difficulty doing 5 reps of 65 lbs, after a can of Monster, I quite easily did 9 reps of 100 lbs. I did the same test the next day with the same results.

Monster seems to be making an extreme difference in my exhertion threshold, as well as my sheer strength, no other energy drink has done anything nearly as dramatic.

I am considering starting to go to the gym, and getting in shape with the help of the energy that monster provides me, I will only do this if I can't find any major health risks of monster, i will look for such risks using the internet.

My cousin drank this and passed away, March 17th, 2005. They found 20% of the liquid in his body was undetermined. Whatever was in there went straight to his liver, heart, brain, and nervous system. Jesus, why go to such lengths to get a dirty stimulant like caffeine? Just try low doses of cocaine. Cleaner up, less of a crash, and less addictive. Of course, this is all at low doses. Don't do the high dose stuff, some people are really susceptable to cocaine addiction (not as many people as some would have you believe though).

Besides, this was the first drink that I saw to bring Economy to the Energy Drink consumer. 16 ounces for 2 bucks! Way better than paying for a wimpy 8 ounce can of RedBullsh*t for 3 bucks. MONSTER ROCKS, low-carb monster that is. Regular monster tastes like butt, but lo-carb works and tastes very well. In a can (16oz and 2 servings) theres only 20 calories, 6g of carbs and 6g of sugar. I haven't tried Monster, but I have tried Amp and RedBull and one of the larger drinks - when I worked 3am to 8am at FedEx and it definitely kept me going, but I have to say that I only did it for about a week, because it's obviously not good for you. It has the same effects on your heart as crack, maybe not as extreme, but the same effects.

I just recently started drinking this stuff and I love the energy. After drinking 5 (8ounces) during a 24-hr period, I felt like i had the flu the next day (without throwing up). A few days later I drank 2 and got the same feeling. I also noticed my "love handles" got noticeably bigger. I, admittidley, when it was available, use to drink 5 cans of the Billa Bong XXXL Monster when it was available, every weekend. I have been a consumer of Monster for quiet some time, I even have one of the can posters in my room. Who loves you baby? I LOVE Monster, the only problem is the Niacin it contains. For some reason, I have grown a bit . . . sensitive to it? I keep having gastro disturbances, my skin under my neck turns red and looks like a rash/ sun burn, and my heart beats slower but extremely hard . . . I have made a discovery of my own. To stop the discomforting sensations that it may cause, just drink some water, SLOOOOWWWWLLLYYY... I discovered this after drinking two monsters in the morning before first period even started, by lunch i had felt that sensation again. Someone next to me said, and I qoute. I've been drinking Monster low carb for 2 years now, every day a few cans a day, it is sooooooooooooooooooo addicting. If I don't have one before work I have a complete brain laps. Many people compare this amazing drink with a redbull, but I seriously beg to differ. It has a much more sweet, planty and tangy flavour than redbull, and monster, being the original 16 oz big-assed energy drink, easily wins an originality award for design and taste (Guarana, really, like brazillian imported soda, only a lot sweeter). The rush is good, but usually you should drink 2 of them quickly after one another to get full effects. VERY tasty and actually, better drunk at room temperature. Not as good chilled, it doesn't have a bite then.

I LOVE MONSTER!!! (the green one) I am addicted...I drink at least 2 16 oz. a day or one giant XXL one or 2...the most I have had in one day is 2 XXL and 1 16 oz. (while at work from 7am til 3pm) I think that I should be the *official* spokesperson for Monster bc everyone that I come into contact with would agree that I am known for consuming Monsters daily! =) I also have referred so many ppl to it, that I have aided in getting more than 20 ppl addicted as well! About the sugar in the energy drinks, if you dont want that much sugar it is best to look for the low carb / low calorie or no sugar options. In fact i like monster lo-cal batter than regular monster which is a bit to sweet for me... So take a look at those options many taste better in my opinion.

Still, dan 'energy' man the sugar is still very high in both regular and lo-carb. All lo-carb is good for is an enrgy drink that is low in carbs.

Monster energy is not as good as alchool. but it is lots better to drink, and is very addicting. It is better than shitty red bull becuase the cans are better and the price kicks ass. Thanks Again.

Beware of Monster energy drinks. I've drank them twice, 4-5 cans at a time. Tonight I drank 4 within a relatively short period. There is a fucking HELL of a crash with these things, and it absolutely is like coming down Crack or Heroin.

Right now, I cannot sleep, I feel dehydrated, I'm shaking, my heart-beat is weird, I feel like I'm going to throw up, and I have a bad headache. I want to kill myself, it feels awful. After reading this board, I'm swearing off energy drinks.

It has a great taste to pound down with a big kick to keep u goin for hours
Beware though you might have heartracing and it might hurt your chest area for beginners.
Make sure u dont drink to much of it theres a consumer resposibility on the back of the can that says "Drink no more than 3 cans a day" Cause if you drink to much it can get dangerous from to much caffeine.
But this stuff is great and I recommend it to everyone! take it slow at first though till u get used to it.

i've been drinking this for quite a while now, and it's by far the best energy drink. i like the Assault version as well, but Green owns. drinking 1 can/day does not result in any weird side-effects, some people are too addicted and drinking way to much of this drink.

This drink has to be a medical break through for me. I often get lingering sinus headaches, just shy of a migrain I've tried perscriptions, seen every type of doctors and nothing. The past 5 attacks, I would drink one can of Monster energy and get instant relief-headaches gone until another day.I thought maybe it's in my head-but not five consecutive times. I'm convinced. I would like to know if any one else gets the same results. The energy is also very good.

Yoooo i love monsters, I have one every morning at school. I like buying boxes full of them and just leave them in my fridge.

As is the case with just about everything, Monster has varying effects on people. Some love it, others hate it (not necessarily for the taste). Do I recommend this drink? Only if you're not an addictive retard. I used to be addicted to cocaine, which is a hell of a lot more potent than this. I managed to overcome that. Monster is a joke. If you cannot control your urge to drink more than 2 of these a day (and that's still a lot for some people, the less the better, really), you should probably stay away from it. If you cannot find other means of brightening your day than through substances, don't drink this -- or any energy drink for that matter. Control it and not the other way around. It HAS proven useful for some people. But whenever it gets out of hand, it always leads to negative results. And it's pathetic how weak some people are, if you let this take over your life, then you have bigger problems that need to be addressed.

As far as the taste is concerned, I could sit here and ramble about how great it is, or how much it makes me want to puke, but that would be pointless. Even describing the taste wouldn't be good enough. If you are responsible enough to drink this in moderation, and able to stop at any time if you need to for whatever reason, then I say go out and buy one, and see for yourself if you like the taste or not. Quite different from Rockstar (and I use that as an example mainly because these 2 energy drinks have been compared a lot), although the two tastes are not mutually exclusive, contrary to the apparent opinion of the masses. I can drink both just fine.

The only reason I would recommend even trying this stuff is because it CAN be useful, if used properly, moderately, etc. Otherwise, don't bother. You're not really missing out.

I think Monster is way top notch. A few people here have said it tastes like ass, and they seem to be quite literal about it. I myself don't make it a habit to go around tasting people's asses, so maybe it does and maybe it doesn't. I describe the taste to be tart, crisp, and very thirst-quenching. If this were a plain soda, I would buy it by the case and drink it accordingly. Anyway, I think most people would find the taste quite refreshing. And as for value, c'mon! 16 oz. for two bucks. I use Monster low carb before my ice hockey games. It works well for mental focus and some energy! But nothing takes the place of water, rest and proper nutrition. It gives you a 'mental' energy but not real 'true' ATP energy or energy from you glycogen reserves that sports require. I notice it loses it's effectiveness when I use it to much (caffein tolerance). I tried 16mg of ephedra with it as well. My heart raced a bit too much.
Years ago I used 200mg of caffein with 24mg of ephedra while weight training 3 times a day! That combo is "STILL" the best mental/energy suppliment. Like anything you need to cycle off and only use sometimes.
I've made mine own 'Monster' with suppliments and it's far cheaper but.... Monster tastes great!

I had this drink back in Spring 2004. I drank the whole can in 5 minutes so I could study better. Whatta mistake!! In a matter of minutes I developed this hyperactive surge of energy that made me feel like I had a hyperactivity disorder (and I don't have any such disorders). I couldn't sit still. I tried doing situps, pushups, legups, etc at a local park and nothing would burn off the energe. Even a five minute walk up a steep hill wouldn't do the trick. I kept tossing and turning in bed at night and then the next day I had the worst headache ever.

Some people I've talked to said they don't have this sort of a reaction to it. I know I sure did and my ex sure did.

I've been drinking monster since my friend introduced it to me. It had helped me in school for about a month and it brought me out of a slight depression and made me concentrate. But strangely i couldn't remember a damn thing I learned. Soon enough It turned out that without thinking I had drinken 13 cans in one day. My heart almost stoped and I had problems breathing. No I'm not addicted to it, but it does hurt your body if you have too many. I personally have one maybe every other week when im bored as hell or go running.

But people, this stuff shouldnt be used for every occasion and daily. Drink no more then 4-5 a day or you will more then likely will have heart problems or even a heart attack. At times I had explosive outbursts and I am the most laid back/ lazy person you will ever meet.
So just watch what you do to yourself.

I'm new to Monster, but the first can i drank gave me a really good buzz. I went out and picked up a second can later and it didn't seem to do much of anything. The next day i picked up some more and actually fell asleep after drinking it... i'm not sure what the hell that was all about.

I'm taking a break from energy drinks for a couple days, then chugging back a few of the green beasts on an empty stomach. That should give me that sweet ass buzz like i had when i started buying them.

Also, when you have a slight hangover and you're tired and have had little to eat, a tall can of Monster is fucking great.

I have been drinking Monster for probably three months now. I like the green and the Khaos. I am very convinced that Monster puts something in it to make the drink habit-forming, because I have craved Monster strongly ever since the first two I had. I don't smoke cigarettes or marijuana, and I don't use drugs. I do have an addictive personality (my credit card bills will attest to that), so perhaps I am susceptible to Monster's charms. I really like the taste. It does not give me a strong kick that I can sense, but it does make me feel I have a normal energy level and not be tired. I sleep great, at least 8 hours a day. I have never drank more than 3 in a 24 hour period, according to the directions on the can. I do notice myself urinating a lot more, but then again I am drinking more fluid. I have never bought anything by the case before, and I am buying cases of Monster. If you've never tried Monster, I will say that it is very good, but it does seem to be addictive/habit-forming, so watch out. I did NOT like the taste of the Assault kind, and I've never tried the low-carb variety because I am just not a low-carb kind of person.

The first time I had monster, I didn't like it so much, but that was a few years ago.

I've tried a lot of the energy drinks: amp, redbull, full throttle, bawls, and rockstar.

I tried monster again (about a year after I tried it the first time) and immediately fell in love!!!

Amp is my second favorite, but it doesn't give me the same "kick" like monster does.

One word of advice: don't chug 3 monsters, one after another. I got really shakey and jumpy and I thought everything/anyone coming towards me was going to hit me and I got really paranoid.

Other than that.. MONSTER ROCKS!!!!!!!!

I am a graduate student in art (painting) & I recently started trying energy drinks, because of the logistical challenges that my course load presented (I have 2 children at home, 10 dogs & a husband to take care of, in addition to being in grad school & having to write a paper every week). So far, I've tried Red Bull (both regular & diet), Rockstar, Full Throttle & Monster (lo carb) and IMO, Monster has the best taste & the energy blast is more than sufficient to help me with all of my tasks. Additionally, in response to the guy who posted above about Monster solving his sinus headache problem; same thing here. I woke up yesterday with a sinus headache that neither anti-histamine/decongestant would take out, nor aspirin take the edge off of, and then I drank a lo carb Monster & within 30 minutes, the sinus headache subsided & the rest of my day went fine. I finished the painting I had on my easel & started a new one & am probably 1/3rd of the way through it. I think I'm going to stick with moderate use of Monster as a way to get through this spring's allergy season & the remainder of my grad school.

I didnt go to bed till 4 am last night i couldnt sleep, i was on the phone for god knows how long. I told my friend yesterday to get me monster, anyway 1st period i drank it and it lasted me to the end of second period.. im so wired right now , im not even tired, i told her to get the drink for me because i didnt want to sleep in any of my classes, im so so soooo hyper haha thats the best thing about monster. I've been drinking this stuff for about a year now and I only have about 1 every two days or so... but I could stop at any time. I'm not addicted at all. It says on the can DO NOT DRINK MORE THAN 3 A DAY. I wouldn't reccomend over two though. So yeah, IF YOU DRINK FIVE A DAY YOU DESERVE WHAT YOU GET!!!!!! MONSTER Kaos and Rockstar Juiced are the shit!!! MONSTER is the better of the two.

To grad student, posted 4/24/06. After reading your comments, I was concerned that the headache you experienced is not a "sinus" headache, but a symptom of caffeine addiction. Those of us who have it call it a "caffeine" headache. I know of no over-the-counter remedy that helps it (except more caffeine, but even that remedy only lasts so long) - you just have to suffer through it. My initial withdrawal headache lasted three days. Now I can't touch anything with caffeine in it without getting a headache. This means I can have one small hot chocolate a day OR about 10 M&M's (I can't have a whole package of M&M's without the caffeine headache). And I never drank anything near as lethal as Monster - I was a one-a-day Diet Coke habit.
I should qualify I'm not a medical anything - just experienced.

Hey, I love this stuff, same with Full throttle, the tastes on both are really great. Yes people are going to NOT like it, not everyones taste buds are the same. You don't have to like it. But I do, I drank about 1 Full throttle last night, and 3 Monster's. I just realized it makes me buzzed like I'm drunk, which is cool aha. But yeah even if I drink just ONE I get uber buzzed. Sadly this is my first time trying this stuff and I've already abused it. I have what is called sleep apnea. I have to sleep with a machine to help my body get the full amount of oxygen it needs. I heavily rely on energy drinks. My drinks of choice that I highly recomend are: Rockstar, Redbull, and Full throttle. Monster, for some reason, does nothing for me. I like the taste but the effect is not good at all. I end up more tired than I did before I drank it.

Weight loss may come from the L-Carnitine, it can't be as bad as a soda, it has more sugar but it also comes in a bigger can, theres also no high fructose corn syrup on the ingredients list, B-Vitamins and a solid energy blend.

I've always been the kind of person to be scared of new things, especially stuff that goes in my body. I didn't even take a sip of a Smirnoff Ice while I was in college, thinking the alcohol content would kill me - seriously! Talk about paranoid.

So, as you'd expect, I was very cautious to ingest the Monster. Well not too long ago, I knew I was tired, but had planned on having a romantic evening (sex) with a young lady I've known. I dropped by the drug store and picked up two things: a pack of Trojans and a Monster.

Before walking into her house, I took THREE SIPS (I threw the rest out). Keep in mind, ONLY 3 SIPS! I'm 5'10, 150lbs (smaller frame - maybe that has something to do with it). Needless to say (and hopefully no one is offended), I ejaculated once, and then stayed 'up' for at least the next two hours! I was an animal... confident (got in my head), strong (got in my body)... Nothing could stop me, even when she and I were finished, I started just walking around her house, waiting for it to go down. It kinda scared me.

I'm actually a pharmacologist for a living. I do wonder about the addictiveness of Monster. Strangely, like many of you, as soon as I took the 2nd sip, my thought was "this stuff is really addictive". Little did I know that there were so many other 'Monster Addicts' out there...

I've read most of the reviews on the site, and it seems that about 50% of them say something along the lines of "Dude, monster is totally addictive, I drink like 4-5 a day." or "Monster makes me vomit/ gives me headaches, etc." If anyone bothered to read the label on the can, they would recall that it said something like "Drink 1 to 2 cans as needed per day." That is the MAXIMUM number of Monsters that you're supposed to be drinking per day! And you shouldn't even need to drink them every day either! Need I remind you that the reason you're supposed to drink these things is to recover from severe fatigue or to prepare for intense physical activity. Drinking more than 1 or 2 per day over a long term period is just stupid, especially if you only do so because it gives you a buzz and makes you piss green. Caffeine, ginseng, guarana, many of these things that they put in it are proven to be addictive drugs, albeit legal ones. Most of these drugs have barely been researched concerning long-term health effects, so if you drink these things every day for a year or two, it could cause health problems. Don't get me wrong, I like energy drinks as much as the next guy, but these things need to be treated like any other drug- with caution and moderation.

Oh, and you guys should know that it is a bad idea to mix energy drinks with alcohol. There are a few links on this site to information on the subject, also try searching on google.

Oh, and I'd just like to add that if you drink one of these before having sex, you'll have the time of your life. Try it sometime.

I drink monster usually when i first wake up, and another later on in the afternoon if needed. I feel better than I have in a long time. It may just be me, but it seems to relieve the pain of my torn rotator cuff and other joint issues that I've got. Placibo or not, I don't care as long as I don't feel the pain.

As far as your burning sensation during urination, I would be more inclined to diagnose you with an STD of some kind. You probably have the clap, or worse.

A lot of the posts in here are rediculous, though funny.. Some say that monster goes straight to the kidneys, liver, nervous system.. some say it ruins their urinary tract. If monster is collecting in your internal organs then it isn't even making it to your urinary tract.

As for those of you with comments like "my sister weighed 800lbs and drank a monster and died. Her arteries were clogged." well no kidding. Or "My nephew is 11 and drank an XXL and had a seizure." Well, a regular 16oz can is considered 2 servings. 1 serving is for a 2000calorie diet. An 11 year old shouldn't even consume 2000 calories a day, therefore half of a can of monster is too much for an 11 year old, let alone a Full can or an XXL.

For those of you letting your kids drink it, depending on your kid's body weight, I'd really watch their intake. 1 16 oz can to a 85lb child is gonna be much more potent than an XXL can to the average 650lb american female adult.

For the college students out there that are drinking it.. If you're doing it to help you study, fine. If you're doing it because it helps you stay up longer so you can consume more alcohol and do more E, then you are probably the average college student and should move back home, get a blue collar job and quit wasting your parent's money. For those of you who know people who've gotten kidney stones, what kind of diet was that person on besides energy drinks? No doubt they were like the average american and consumed 5 t-bone steaks per day and a happy meal between each of those steaks. No way you can compare Red Bull or Rockstar to Monster's awesome taste! They are hard to choke down and Monster is so smooth and leaves you wanting more. The energy is a plus too! I'm in my 40's and Monster has helped me get out of bed every day and make it through the day. I have arthritis and fibromyalgia and some days it's impossible to get out of bed. Monster gets me up and going and the pain doesn't seem near as bad. It's not just for the younger generation!

READ!!! I just have a couple points to make.

1.) If you are a person with no health problems, There is nothing wrong with energy drinks. The ingredients are no more then caffeine(coffee, soda, tea,) no more than a mild stimluant. Ginseng, another stimulant made from Ginseng plant root(research and find they say it can benefit sexual performance, and physical performance, they say it has an anabolic effect)Not so informed about taurine, but I read it is no more than an amino acid( a protein).

2.)There is only 160 MG of caffeine in a whole can of Monster which is like a medium cup of coffee. Health officials will say 300 mg or less of caffeine will not cause adverse effects. So a couple cans a day shouldn;t hurt you. Unless you abuse these drinks, you shoudl find that you will not experience health problems, Just drink a little extra water through out the day, use them in moderation, never in the evening b/c they will disturb sleep, and research the ingredients if you are concerned with them.

It kind of makes me sick hearing that people drink 4-5 cans a day. DOn;t be a F---ing loser and use these drinks like drugs. I'll drink a monster in the AM on the way to classes to wake myself up, get focused, and maybe one more before I go to the gym or work(restarurant biz is stressful and fast oaced, so these drinks are great for energizing you) just for a pick me up. In no circumstances should you ever drink these to "get high". Use them like people use coffee, for a pick me up during a hectic stressful, event packed day.

This stuff tastes awesome, mixes GREAT, and has a cool can. The only problem I have with it (as with all other energy drinks) is the amount of sugar in it so I always try to go for the Lo-Carb version which tastes and mixes exactly the same. And unlike Rockstar (whose sugar-free can is a hospital color white and pretty much just screams out "Look at me!! I'm drinking a sugar-free drink!"),Lo-Carb Monster looks exactly the same except it's logo is blue colored. Seriously you can't go wrong with these drinks.

Monster is by far the best tasting energy drink I have tried and it really gives a boost. I'd say it mixes better with vodka than red bull and it taste better than red bull and everything else. The only other drink that is close in taste to Monster is Mad Croc but that is hard to find. Try Monster and you won't drink another brand unless the row of Monster drinks is sold out which is too often the case.

Everyone here who drinks more than 3 a day are stupid. Directly from the can itself:

"Consume responsibly - Limit 3 cans per day. Not recommended for children, pregnant women, or people sensitive to caffeine."

Also, most of you are currently or had been at one time junkies, and you now say that you drink 5-6 cans a day. What does that sound like to you? And even if you don't mind that you are now addicted to it, who knows what people will discover about what using the drugs that are in a can of Monster in excessiveness.

I have indeed had 2 of them before, myself, but the time between having them was about 3 weeks. I used them so that I could stay up late and study for a huge math test, and so that I could write a huge research paper. I did NOT drink the whole 16oz can either time, I just drank a few sips during the course of the night whenever I felt tired. The drink DOES work, but after feeling what 1/2 a can does to a person, I would not suggest under ANY circumstances to drink more than 2 cans (and that 2 cans is only if you are about to be doing some serious physical exercise).

As for the effects, immediately after drinking a sip, my heart rate sped up. Not too much, but it felt like I had, oh, just walked quickly somewhere. It wasn't too much of a speed-up. Also, it did indeed make me less fatigued (remember, I drank these so that I could stay up late). I no longer felt sleepy. The effects also last a while. I only had to take 2-3 sips every 15 minutes to keep awake and alert enough to study/write an paper.

So, in conclusion, I would suggest this drink to people that have procrastination problems (such as I) and are in a bind, but I would NOT suggest drinking in it in excess, like some of the idiots who have previously posted have done. Just take a few sips at a time, enough so that you don't feel tired anymore, and then when it wears off, take a few more sips.

And in conclusion, even though I know that I have drank it before, and that I just recommended it for people who are in a bind late at night, remember one thing: not much is known about some of the drugs that are used in the drink. The same thing happened with nicotine. Cigarettes were immensely popular; everyone smoked. And nobody even thought twice about it. And now look at what happened to them all - cheated out of life because they didn't know what they were doing to their bodies. The SAME THING could happen with any number of the chemicals used in Monster. What if, ten years from now, researchers for the FDA discover that glucuronolactone really DOES cause brain tumors if it is used regularly. Every one of you who drinks it daily would be at a SEVERE risk. Think of it as a cigarette (by the way, I've never smoked either). A few every now and then, spaced apart by a few weeks or months, won't kill you, but a few every day most certainly will. So please, drink it responsibly, if you choose to drink it - for your own sake.

Monster Energy is GREAT i love it. Monster has a great taste and gives my alot of energy and i get very hyper when i drink this stuff. I'm addicted to Monster every time i go to the store i get it. i think everyone should try it and i know they will like it.

It's amazing. The first time I tried it, I spilled it down the sink because it was the first energy drink I ever tried so I was a bit nervous, but then second time I tried it I just chugged it down.

It's amazing, the taste is sweet, but not too sweet. For some reason the taste reminds me of citrus or something but it's not. IT'S AWESOME, IT'S AMAZING, AND IT GIVES ME AN ENERGY BOOST AND I JUST FINISHED DRINKING ONE AND I WANT ANOTHER!

Monster Energy Drink kicks ass its way better than redbull and amp I work at 6:45 am and that stuff keeps me awake for hours If you still haven't tried it its the best and it does kind of taste like apples and some sort of citrus

i personally think it tastes very good and does give you energy, but be careful. I had an alergic reaction to it and my throat closed up and i needed an epi-pin. Make sure you know your body can handle the much caffine.

hey you guys if you like these drinks try the energy beers. one that is getting all the hype is a drink called TORQUE. its best of both worlds so i guess grab a can and try it. If you like monster you will love this one!

Energy Drinks rock! But seriously they are addicting. I literally drink at least 2+ a day. And if I dont my hands begin to like shake. They are awesome but they can harm you, I know. But have fun with them and drink them, just please yall dont drink them as much as me. And I do have to agree, Monster is the best. The ONLY kind I will drink. Its what keeps me going when I skate, skim, surf, race 4wheelers, tag, everything. They are the candy coated devil.

For those of you who have not tried this, there is another flavor of Monster besides just the "green" and "blue" cans. There is also a "red" can with camouflage called Monster Assault. It tastes A LOT better than the original flavors. Gotta try it.
