This drink wasn't to impressive to me. It was OK I guess, it had a grapefruit like flavor to it... Well that with the added flavor of ball sweat. This is just one mans opinion though. Actually no 3 of my friends tried it as well and none were impressed. It also didn't seem to pump me up a whole lot. So I guess I don't really have anything good to say about this drink. It didn't mix well with vodka either. If you like grapefruit maybe give it a shot. Otherwise I would avoid this one like the plague. But like my mother said when you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all... So I am going to have to quite speaking until I get this can out of my field of view.

Impressive! You must be quite an accomplished ball-sweat taster in order to indentify it in a beverage. ;)
Posted by: Grant at February 2, 2005 09:58 AMI have tried Shakti before, and I must say that its probably one of the best energy drinks I have ever had. I shared some of the drinks with my friends, and they all wanted to know where they could order some more.
I myself don't know where to order anymore. If anyone is reading this, could you tell me?
Thanks,

My friend and I were just talking about this drink and the previous comments made on it. Although it does have a grapefruit flavor, it actually tastes pretty good compared to other energy drinks. You can't honestly say that red bull tastes any better. It's not as strong as some of the other drinks out there - but it gives you a good enough jolt...plus its actually pretty healthy.
I occasionally see it at the gas stations in LA and Orange County.
Posted by: Jay at July 4, 2005 08:23 PMI just tried Shakti last week, and its definitely one of the better ones out there. I'm very surprised with the earlier comments since my friends and I agree that it tastes really good and gives a good effect.
I found the drink in a grocery store in LA and have occasionally seen it in a nearby gas station.
