I hate full throttle. i dont think it gives much of an energy boost. im not much of a coca cola person either. i found this at a dollar store and bought it because it was only 1 dollar, and i found my self dumping it in the grass. im glad i only wasted 1 dollar. cuz full throttle isnt worth anymore money than that.

I was wondering if you knew how much caffeine actually is in a can of Full Throttle? I can't seem to find the exact amount anywhere. I'm very curious b/c I agree with your comments and I don't think it is that strong and I want to know exactly what I am drinking.

UPDATE: I am not dead, and this stuff tastes like crap. Doesnt work well either. the "buzz" (if you'd even call it that) doesnt last for more than a few minutes.

after drinking 1 can of full throttle to do an all nighter i woke up the next day with unbelievable heartburn. This was only after the third or fourth time drinking it. the heartburn didn't go away until the next day but i then had an inflamed esophagus and lost 10 pounds because i couldn't eat food, for it felt like a knife entering by stomach. pain lasted 3 days. now 3 weeks later i took one sip of an extra can in my fridge and it feels like the heartburn is coming back, i just dumped the whole can out. do not drink full throttle without eating a heavy meal first, infact don't drink it at all.

Full Throttle sucks. Monster is by far the best. Full Throttle is a horrible attemot by Coca-Colato catch up with the enrgy drinks. It tastes like crap and has no kick at all.

i'm a medical student: to speak to some of the medical comments.. first, heartburn following intake of any beverage (not alcohol) is uncommon, especially for a long period of time and actually eating a heavy meal will make any irritation worse, meals stimulate acid, so that would be acid on top of more acid. so if those symptoms keep occuring or you notice them again, you may want to see a doc, just to make sure all is well.

as far as ROBINS question, pupil dilation can occur w/ caffeine, but usually you see a rapid heart rate and inability to sleep w/ pupil dilation. the low Heart rate could have been a normal circulatory reflex from the caffeine toxicity.

i was at a green day concert one night at was there from about 4-12midnight, then the next day i had to work at a restaurante and it was very busy, then also the next morning so me and a friend got a can of FULL THROTTLE, it isnt that bad of a drink, but i never tried any other energy drinks b4, after the can i got a little "buzz" for about 20 mins then went back to normal. it does help a little tho wen ur very tired from a long week and u still gotta work

I can't comment on the energy effect of this one. The taste was so amazingly bad I couldn't take more than one drink. Think beeswax and battery acid. And for some reason the muscles in the back of my jaw tensed up when I tried it. Utter crap.

Full throttle tastes like what I imagine liquified leather would taste like, with a little bit of a really cheap man's cologne mixed in. Some of the nastiest stuff I've ever tasted, bar none. For those of us who'd rather sit on or wear our leather as opposed to drinking it, I'd suggest looking elsewhere for your boost.

To tell you the truth, I think Full throttle is the best energy drink out there. It has the best taste, and I recieve what seems the most energy from it. All of my friends drink this energy drink the most, and it is the definite energy drink to bring you a "wake-up call." I recommend it highly.

i just had a can of full throttle, and i like it alot better than monster and red bull..red bull absolutely sucks. full throttle gave me a good buzz for awhile, but i am hungover so it varies all the time on what my "buzz" is doing. recommended by yours truely

I was wondering if there is anyway you can tell me how to get a hold of an energy drink called "Power Play". While stationed in Iraq we had this energy drink that actually had a good taste with no real aftertaste and would really pump you up. I looked online to try to find a way to purchase this product back in the States or my current station area in Germany. FULL THROTTLE ROCKS!!!!!! I have tried the other "energy drinks" and frankly they all taste like elephant piss--(not that I've tried elephant piss) At any rate, I need to know where I can buy cases of the stuff--Paying $2.00 a can is breaking me. I carry a few cans around with me on the Harley. I usually dont get to drink them all cause everyone is asking for one.

i like red bull but i like the taste better of a full throttle. not sure how much caffeine it has in it but it does get me going. i'm not a big caffeine fiend but it's good to get a lil boost now and then. it's made by coca-cola...so what it's the product i'm more interested in critiquing not the company.

there was one time i found a very rare energy drink released by Virgin called VOOM. I found them at the local dollar store, and they had around 50 cans. I bought them out (3 for $1). They were the single shot cans...but my friend and I downed them in a single night, 25 apiece. Please people, remember. caffiene is a drug. lol. if you drink a shitload of caffeine, you'll get messed up. my mother's an RN, and it is possable to OD on caffine and it can and will cause heart attacks. Just be careful when drinking a shitload of these things.

I have tried this stuff, and as a seasoned caffiene fiend I can say it doesn't have a whole lot. I would estimate 40-50mg/can. For comparison Red Bull packs about 100mg at 1/3 of the volume. The taste is OK at best.

Oh, and to the above comment: The LD50 (lethal dose that would kill 50% of people that ingested it) of caffiene is 7-10g. Thats GRAMS of the pure molecule, these drinks have .06g in them. You do the math (half life in the body is about 6hours). You couldn't physically drink them fast enough to kill yourself.

i did some quick research and found that Full Throttle doesn't have aspartame but it does have high fructose corn syrup, maltodextrin, and yellow 5 , all of which are dangerous ingredients esp. yellow 5 which could account for bobs indigestion. but all the same, i really like the stuff. the tast is better then every energy drink i've tried and the energy it gives lasts for a significant amount of time. but i do understand that everytime i drink it i'm essentially poisoning myself....you are too.

I am in the business of energy drinks ad I know that FT has 30% more Caffeine than Red Bull...have to concider the larger can though. As for taste, many say it is like Mountain Dew, but with a larger KICK. Everyones taste is different and you must explore to suit your needs...just like buying a car, not everyone likes BMW's.

The other day I decided to buy Monster instead of Red Bull (since monster was cheaper) for my Jagermeister / energy drink mix. I loved the flavor of monster plain and with jager better than red bull and monster had a good kick.

The next day I was at walmart and saw full throttle next to Monster. I noticed it was from Coke which immediately made me want to go with my gut and skip it, but I went with my wallet and bought the throttle since it was a few cents cheaper.. I bought two cans and totally regret it. Worst flavor of any energy drink I've had and while I felt a kick, it didn't last. Not a quality drink. Buy Monster! good stuff.

Tastes VERY similar to Mellow Yellow (Coke's answer to Mountain Dew). If you read the label, there is 141mg of caffeine. I usually drink Redbull or Sobe's No Fear, but saw this in my usual store today. Can half gone, drinking it about an hour after lunch, to get me through the day. I like it so far. Seems to be doing the trick.

HI, I agree with the guy who said "You all suck" that does not think FULL THROTLE is the best energy drink out today. I use to drink red bull, but I would have to drink 2 to get any affect of energy.All the others taste so nasty and bitter.I in fact love the fruity pineapple like taste of full throtle. But if some of you think it tastes to sweet or to strong, just mix it with some 7-up or sprite. Hey FUCKTARDS, FULL THROTTLE keeps me from DIEING EVEY DAY. I drive an hour to college every day at 6 AM, without an enerygy drink I fall asleep behind the wheel and almost hit semis and guard rails. It keeps me awake in college too, thats 6 hours of effect there...1 driving + 5 school. The taste is very good compared to RED BULL or MONSTER SHIT. Also, Red Bull and Monster contain a product called Glucuronolactone that is VERY HARMFUL TO CONSUME and causes headaches and brain tumors. Here is an article: "Ever wondered what's in a can of Redbull Energy drink? The small print lists a host of ingredients and among them is Glucuronolactone, an artificially manufactured stimulant developed in the early 60's by the American Government.
Glucuronolactone was first used in the Vietnam conflict to boost morale amongst GI's who were suffering from stress and fatigue, but was banned after a few years following several deaths and hundreds of cases involving anything from severe migraines to brain tumours in personnel prescribed the stimulant.

I have tried the Full Throttle energy drink one time & the aftereffects were unbelieveable. I have never had a buzz like I got from this product. I take presription meds & I found out that this particular drink does not set well with the medications that I take for petit mal epilepsy. The aftereffects gave me such a case of the shakes & dizziness that I felt just like a drug addict going through withdrawl. My advice to anyone who takes the types of meds as I listed is to not try this type of energy drink.

I work as a night stocker where speed is of utmost importance. Thanks to drinks like Full Throttle, Rocket Shots, SoBe Dragons etc...we are as a whole the fastest stocking crew throughout the company. These drinks arent for people who just sit around at a desk or are tolerant to caffeine. Energy drinks do work and I have hundreds of fellow stockers who would say the same.Case counts went from 100/hr to near 300/hr for myself.

Ya so i was working and this lady came up to me and gave me this compon for this Full Throttle, She worked for Coca-cola and it will only cost me a cent to try it, but after reading a few of these comments it seems this drink could be damaging to you, but hey if its only 1 cent i guess i try it, ill be back with my comment after i try it.

I like it. I hadn't had an energy drink till I was on a 3 hour drive to visit relatives. I started getting drowsy, and stopped at a gas station for some coffee. I was actually worried because caffeine in coffee doesn't help me much since I drink 6-8 cups a day at work where we get free Starbucks. Anyway, my daughter said I should try Full Throttle, and I did. It was amazing! I didn't chug it, so I didn't get a 'buzz' from it, but it kept me awake, and alert, for hours. I sometimes get 'road hypnotized' on long drives, so I snack on sunflower seeds, m&ms, cornnuts, etc..., but I didn't need them on this trip, thanks to the Full Throttle. A week ago, I made the mistake of drinking one on the way home (10 pm) from visiting friends, and the darn think kept me awake till 4 am! I put the time to good use and did some online gaming, since I was awake ;) and wracked up some of my best wins. Even my gaming buddies said I was on a roll that night. I didn't tell them I was on Full Throttle ;) I'll need that edge next time we play. Anyway, the flavor is like somebody else said: mellow-yellow-ish, or like flat mountain dew. Overall it's ok. I'm not drinking it for the taste, but the effect. It certainlty taste better than Jolt Cola.

(here's my detailed report on my experience with one can of this today).

A lot of this arguing is based on opinions. Taste being the main factor of opinionated argument. While I find this to be not very useful, I will throw my opinion in on that subject too with this review, among with other things. The taste you will just have to try for yourself. Whether or not the taste that you get reacts in a way to send out good or bad feelings in your brain will vary from person to person.

Anyway, as a background, I myself am a fan of monster at the moment. I have tried red bull of course, and many other drinks really. Today, I had a little less sleep than I should have due to car troubles the night beforehand. Well, after barely making it through my first class staying awake the entire time, I decided to try out an energy drink to help me out for the rest of the day. The only one I had close enough access to get in time before my next class was Full Throttle. I picked up one can for $1.98 after reading most of the reviews posted here.

Upon reading the reviews, I realized that some people like the taste, some don't, so I went into drinking this with no expectation on the tastes, and slightly good expectations on the energy delivered. When I first opened the can, I took a whiff of the contents and seemed to find it pleasant (I agree with the Mello Yellow comment). I took my first sip and enjoyed the taste a nice amount. I found that the taste to come soon afterwards, though, was somewhat unpleasant. After taking 3 or so sips, the not as great aftertaste began to become more powerful than the nice taste. Overall the taste wasn't horrible, but that taste to come afterwards to me is what set me off from loving the taste.

I drank the can over the period of about 7-10minutes on an empty stomach. About 15-20minutes after starting to drink, I felt the first noticeable effects. They seemed to reach peak intensity after about 30 minutes or so. This peak lasted for maybe another 30minutes I'd say. The peak was about what I expected. It was a noticeable peak intensity, but not incredibly intense. It was slightly less than what I like from an energy drink, but I think many people would like where it puts you.

After the peak wore off, effects are still noticeable, although not very intense, about 2 hours later. I would estimate that most noticeable effects would wearoff after about 4 hours I'd say in my case.

I would have to agree with the rating of 7 that was given. I would still take monster over this though. I can get more intense effects for pretty much the same price (and cheaper often, although I'm sure this can be bought cheaper as well). If you don't like effects as intense as I do, and don't mind the taste of monster (which once again, some will like, and others wont, no need to bash the taste of other drinks when it is simply a matter of opinion) I would reccomend to pick that up instead, and just find out how much of one can you need to drink of that to get the desired effects instead. This drink is worth a shot overall if it is on sale and you can get it decently cheap.

On a side note: Dialated pupils and staying up all night? Hehe, sounds like it could be some other drug to me ;) (kinda j/k a bit).

full throtle doesnt really work as well as some of the others out there...the one i prefer is Red Rain its pretty much a red bull knockoff but it is cheaper and does the same thing

Well I have had a lot of energy drinks, but today was my first time having a FULL THROTTLE. One of the worst things about this is simply... Coca-Cola. They just want to be like the others but they just can't do it. This drink also tastes very badly. The best energy drink out there for TASTE and KICK is AMP. FULL THROTTLE's kick was about 5 minutes long then its over. Definetly AMP.

A quick google search on Glucuronolactone shows that the claims it was used by the US military are total bullshit, and that the substance is harmful are false. Go ahead an do it yourself, the first link is a snopes page.

I've tried "Full Throttle" and I love it. It seems when the weekend comes after working the grinding "8 to 5", I get sluggish and have planned so many things to do on the weekend. I drank my "Full Throttle" with no side effects except for the fact it is hard to get sleep. I got ready for an upcoming yard sale this weekend and have already cleared out my garage in preparation. Now I just need to wash and fold the clothes I'm going to sell. After I went to one store, "full Throttle" was sold out and then I went to another store and they had it for $1.99. My sluggish feeling went away and I'm looking forward to my make money, make money, make money yard sale.

I am 70 yrs old and suffer from Myathenia Gravis, an autoimmune disease that saps your strength even when you sit still and do nothing. I tried Full Throttle today and am not sure what I am suppost to feel. I did feel a slight energy boost but I am not sure how long that will last. The taste is not as sweet as I could be but not unpleasant. I did not experience heart burn. Not having tried the other energy drinks, its difficult to compare Full Throttle with similiar products.
So right now, its just a difference kind of soft drink. How different remains to be seen.

FT is the best drink out there. I think it gives me a good kick in the ass when I need it. I drink it every time I need a good boost of energy especially when I plan to work over 8 hrs in construction. Definately better than anything out there.

The taste is identical to a very sweet SoBe Arush (although maybe nearer to mountain dew), the rush is alright (comparable with mountain dew energy, not really that good) and it's made by coke, so it's really just mainstream crap. Also, since it's a "new" product, some stores sell it for a bigger price than other energy drinks. It's really one of my least favorite energy drinks, just let the kids drink it :P

i'm drinking a 16oz can of full throttle right now. The first thing i noticed was the taste. it tastes just like one of tablets you dissolve in water and drink when you have a headache. Not a particularly good taste. If you can choose between this or monster definetly go for the monster.

I actually like the flavor of the drink. But it does not seem to keep me energized the other energy drinks I have had and did not help me on my long drives to college, but it seems that no matter what time of day I drink one I can never sleep that night.

Drink a couple glasses of water with the ft to kick the energy in. it'll keep you up and running, but you have to be hydrated for the drink to take effect. Happy Drinking.

man, i used to be all over the energy drink scene. you know how it is...3am, 15 more pages to go, deadline when the sun rises. i'd also down one of these before my workout for a killer boost. and sometimes i'd get a little wild and mix it up with some grey goose. but suddenly, one day, lo and behold, it hit me! WILL POWER!!! i woke up and said, "enough of this sh**!" i never drank another energy drink after that day. i started eating more natural foods and spending more time outdoors. my mood improved, and i had way more energy than before. so ditch all these canned effluents and breath some fresh air and get hip to it...WILL POWER!!!

hey, FT is tha first energy drink i have eva tasted. its not so bad. Tastes like a mountain dew/sprite. I've had mayb 15 hrs of sleep n tha last 3 or 4 days. I'll probably be ostracized for this, but this is one of my favorite energy drinks. I know, it's a Coca-Cola product, and "the man" never makes a good product, but come on, these were the original energy drink makers; they used to put cocaine in their soda, how much more energizing can you get? I really feel like it's doing something, and the reasonably large carbohydrate dose probably helps. The 16oz. can is just what I like to see when I'm shelling out $2, lastly the taste is just to my liking, as long as it's cold, like most sugar-laden sodas, it begins to get thicker tasting as it warms up.

LAst but not least everyone who uses these drinks to stay awake and study or do anything else besides use them as directed you must know that the reason why people have dillated pupils or cannot sleep is because you are not educated enough on the subject at hand. Yes your pupils will dilate and you will lose sleep if you drink more than 1 a day come on it's simple. Drink a 2L of coke you will see it's the smae thing that quantity of caffeine your system can take at one time depends of everyone.

If you want something that will keep you up for 5 days straight you are using the wrong drug maybe speed will help or even exctasy those are two chemicals that will keep you awake. As for caffeine it will only help you stay awake for 1 to 2 hours until you need another one. Take it as you may but if you are depending on these drinks to stay awake you need to see a doctor.

I don't like the taste much, it has a slight "salty" flavor which reminds me of magnesium citrate laxatives (ewww). I didn't get much of an energy boost from it until twelve hours later-- at 1 am. Ugh. I was awake until 5. Maybe the delay is because I'm on epilepsy pills but I didn't have this lag with Red Bull.

Full throttle rocks! I love the new flavor in the red can, Fury. I also like rockstars, but they seem to bubble too much for me.
Red bull is to small of a can, for the same amount of money, you can get double the sized energy drink that tastes great. But red bull seems to give me more energy than any other drink.
Monsters taste like cough medicine to me.

The problem with this energy drink with me is that since i have at least 1-2 everyday, it doesn't keep me awake anymore. and since I'm working 3rd shift everynight, i need these drinks to basicly survive. I Still drink the full throttles, but not for the energy, just for the taste.
I've found the best drink to use for energy, is red bull or rockstar.
Working a gas station, i always take the liberty of taste-testing the new energy drinks when we get the shipments. Lost is a good one too, but hard to find, and sells really fast.
Amps don't boost your energy as much as it should, but tastes good.
Shock wave is alright, but not as good as it could be. The taste is off, and the energy isn't very high either.
Monsters i wouldn't know much about, since i nearly vomited after the first taste and won't try it again.
With the exeption of monsters, they're all pretty good, depending on what your own taste is of course.

I like Full Throttle more than most, i haven't had the glory of trying all the Monster drinks, but i did drink like 3 monsters on the back to college once, and i gotta say they tasted too much like candy in a can. . . . they were too sweet for me, but maybe im crazy... I really enjoy the taste of the normal Full Throttle. Fury is ok, but i prefer the original. Red Bull gives me a medicine-y after taste and it doesnt really work for me... kinda makes me want to cry when i drink it >.>;
I want to try Bawls cuz they say its mainly for gamerz or something to that extent...

tastes sooo good...!!.... didnt get much of an energy rush, but have NO appetite whatsoever now.. very strange. Its 12, havent eaten since about 7:00. I just dont feel like eating. The effect I have with Full throttle is a calming sensation that numbs pain and eases away nervousness and anxiety. My experience with drinks like Monster has been quite the opposite and lacks the pleasantness that Full Throttle brings.
If you want to get some homework done, work out, or just feel good Full throttle is your drink.

Today was my first time trying this and probably my last... Also, there is no way this can be good for you, other energy drinks have up to 10 times as much of the vitamins as this one, as well as that, they also have twice as much caffiene.

(Amazingly the same price, makes me wonder if you got it at the same place, lol, they're mostly diets but i dug through and found the regulars) I came here to check up on the review, to see if i got something any good. I would've been a lot more happy if it was Monster, but I'm not upset since it was so cheap. I'm happy with it :)

We drank like 3 or 4 each (we forget) abd um were feeling really sick and were hoping that we dont die. I never really had an energy drink before because I had seen on the news several times about how these drinks could kill you. I did however have to pull an all nighter so I figured I'd give this a whirl. I got the sugar free one, which I later learned was a mistake. I cringed with the first sip of this stuff, and my teeth began to hurt immediatley. The taste is not good at all, and it has very little kick to it like I hoped for. The amount of energy it gave me was minimal I guess, I was still tired and went to bed fairly early.

Im surprised some people hate this drink, I think its better than all other energy drinks out there. The citrusy taste is what makes it the best.

I drink a can before ice hockey and it works OK. Taste is like Mountain Dew. Sugar is not good for you but what is anymore?

It doesn't taste bad but you can't taste the medical ingredients as well as the other energy drinks. Which also means it barely gives you any kick and you don't feel energized.

I even tried the original, Sugarfree and Fury (red can). It cost me $1.39 at the cheapest and $3.25 at the most expensive where I live.

I like Full Throttle because it is the best tasting. I do not like Rockstar at all because it tastes like grape medicine syrup to me, and as far as "buzzes" go, I think the buzz you get differs with each person. If you are a "lightweight" and get a buzz from FT easily, then yeah this drink is okay. But more "hardcore" energy drinkers may not like it cuz it is weaker than the others.

i will start with the taste aspect.... it does not realley bother me. Somewhat enjoyable in my opinion but i think my sence of taste is more tolerable that most peoples (due to my mothers cooking all those years no doubt)
the "kick"... well i dont notice much of any "buzz" but i definetley notice not being tired when i normally would in the evening\ night (based on whata time i drink it)
to the conclusion, taste is neither very good, or horrible and, fort me, it has lasting, lowkey energy rather than a big "buzz"

Stop complaining about the taste. If you like the buzz, you can aquire the taste. For example, who the hell likes coffee the first time they drink it. I had to drink pussy coffee w/ milk for a few months.

Today I had diareah for over 45 minutes in the bathroom, and the only thing that was in the toilet was yellow-green, liquid. It was the Full Throttle! Went STRAIGHT through my body.

I agree with the vast majority of comments on here, this energy drink tasted sour and tangy. Not the artificial flavoring, which is added, but it was due to the high sugar amount, I got Fury and ended up dumping about a third of it in the garden. it wasn't worth finishing.

"Full Throttle" is one of the most unpleasant drinks I've ever tried: NASTY taste, like Tang and cat piss, leaves a NASTY aftertaste, NASTY energy rush (makes your scalp crawl to the point of annoyance), and goes right through you in 15 minutes, no joke. At almost $2.00 per 16oz can, "Full Throttle" is the worst joke that Coca Cola has ever pulled on the public.

Its a refreshing drink for when you wanna sit back grab your neighbors cat and kick some ass. It's not insane kick or anything its just a refreshing drink that I'd get even if not energy drink.

I work a rotating 12 hour shift, so it forces me to drink lots of energy drinks. I have tried everything out there, and recently I tried Frappio, no kidding guys this drink kicks ass, not the best taste, but damn I had a killer buzz of this stuff. If you are not use to drinking caffene stay clear. This is by far the best energy drink on the market right now.

I currently drink FT Fury. I think it tastes great (better than any other energy drink) and gives you a nice kick. It also turns your tongue a nice shade of orange. But what i've noticed is it seems to speed up your bowels. About a half hour to hour after consumption you really have to crap. I'm guessing it's from the taurine in the drink. Taurine is extracted from the bile of animals and acts as an emulsifier for ingested lipids and assists in their absorption. This probably explains the effect. Overall i think its a great drink.

I bowl 2 nights a week after work and started drinking Full Throttle before hand. I tried itone night when I was very tired. It really picked me up, and I bowled better than usual that night. Now I always drink it about 1/2 hour before starting. My scores are up. Its great.

Coke doesn't seem to know whats they're doing in the energy drink market. full throttle tastes like crap, even for an energy drink and it packs no energy whatsoever. the only thing you're going to get from drinking it is a headache. Stick to redbull and monster.

I used to be really addicted to this energy drink, but I've found better ones. I think it's a good starter drink, or for when you don't need that "kick." It's good sometimes because it doesn't have that extreme energy drink taste, but it's very coke-like. (go figure)

Full Throttle is a decent energy drink, but it's certainly not the best out there. I find that if you are trying to study and cannot concentrate due to a hangover (which I experience frequently), it certainly helps. Is it just me, or does this energy drink make people horny if they consume more than one can daily? Let me know.

yeah....the day I had final exams....I bought about 5 of them out of curiousity....first off it gives you a one time bathroom run....then if you drink too much.....you FART for hours......I had about five and trying to get through class was hell. It hurt to hold it. I'd try to let it out a little at a time but yet you'd hear "FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT" extremeley loud and long throughout the class room. At one point the teacher asked why one girl was giggling..the girl in front of me answered with "Because the kid behind me keeps farting and it's disgusting" I left the room a few times but still didn't help much....got a "Just go to the bathroom..grow up"....which was hard to do considering I had already went and it was just continuous gas....so I learned the hard way to never drink too many Furys.....

I like the taste of Full Throttle sugar free (black can) 16oz. But it is hard to find in most supermarkets. Coca Cola doesn't stock it for some reason. I did experience the acid reflux some were talking about. That is probably from the artificial sugars (acesulfame-K or Nutra Sweet). Acesulfame-K can also give you a loose stool, cramps. I switched to Rockstar Mango flavor from Coke and it had a good kick plus tasted great. It had less artificial sweetner and more fruit juices (70%). This also is hard to find in supermarkets. Both of these drinks gave me an arrhythmia at times from their stimulants. It became a hassle so I just drink coffee now.

Oddly enough I prefer the taste of Full Throttle to any of the other energy drinks on the market. I used to be a Red Bull addict but hated the taste and would slam it back just to get it done. Full Throttle has a more citrus flavour which is more enjoyable than the cough syrup taste of Monster, Rockstar, and Redbull.

The local market has been sold out / out of stock of Full Throttle so I have been forced to drink Monster or Rockstar. I will admit that Full Throttle is not as strong as other E drinks. I had a Monster this morning and am hyper as shit. Last week I had Rockstar and was gittery as hell and felt like the UPS guy from MadTV. I like Full Throttle in that it picks me up but doesn't wire me up.

I like Full Throttle by itself but I will tell you one thing...it mixes GREAT with Jack Daniels. and that mix is patented. but yall go ahead and try it .

Full Throttle is my personal favorite energy drink. It is light, but the flavor and carbonation level are perfect to me, and it is very refreshing.

Also.. for fellow Alchies out there... 1 Can Full Throttle + 6 Oz (+-) Tequila, + 3 Oz (+-) Triple Sec + Ice + Blender = incredible.

The can I'm drinking out of is 16 fl oz.
It says it's 141mg of caffeine...

This is my first time drinking it though. I've had it for about two hours and am only half way through the can. o.o

I've never tried any other energy drinks.
The taste is pretty decent.
I dunno.
I'd buy it again.

I work the night shift and sometimes I get can't stay awake. I bought Full Throttle because I wanted to try something different. This drink kept me energized and worked better than I expected. The following day I bougth another can. The persons that say that Monster or something else, and say that throttle didn't have any effect on them, must be drug addicts :) Ahahahaha. Full Throttle not only taste better than other drinks, but worked better.

I think that the Full Throttle is pretty good. This is my first time drinking it and I can admit I am afraid! I have had 3 different energy drinks since 11am this morning. Monster, Full throttle, and a rockstar! I wouldn't know if I got a "buzz" from anyof this because I am SO ADHD that they just make me sleepy!

sorry robin, 2 years too late for your comment, but your kid wasn't feeling the effects of full throttle... try maybe coming down from meth, E, coke... just to name a few.

ever since i started to drink full throttle i notice i have gained a few pounds is this drink really high in carbs or would it be considered the same amount as say a bottle of cola?..

I was in school and moving in the same month, and relied heavily on coffee and full throttle to get me through the tiring times. I was drinking an energy drink everyday for about a month. Every so often i'd feel a flutter in my heart. "What a rush," I'd always think. What a rush redbull and vodka could give too. And every so often the flutter in my heart would come and go. On Sunday, Easter Suday actually, i'll never forget, I was sitting back watching a movie with my fiance, when I felt the fluttering come on. I thought nothing of it at first, but then it didn't stop. I sat up for a minute and pounded my chest, i felt like I was losing my breath. I had my fiance listen to my heart because I knew something was wrong. She put her head against my chest and what she would describe to me in the following weeks would send shivers up my spine. She described a quick thumping, like a jack hammer...and then complete silence. Complete heart failure, and then sudden random beating again.

We called an ambulance and I was taken to the emergency room where I was taken to the reccessitation room (the place they bring dying people back to life) and druged and knocked me out. They cardioverted me (electrocuted my heart). And that was the only way my heart would stop fluttering and beating irregularly. The nurse had said to me before we went in there, it was so common now to see young guys (i'm 24) coming in there with this potentially life threatening problem, all related to drinking liquer, too much caffeine or energy drinks. I haven't had an energy drink since this happened, and my atrial flutter has not occured since.

If you feel this flutter, STOP! THis atrial flutter can lead to atrial fibrillation, and then cause a stroke if not treated, and even lead to death or heart failure. It's not a long drawn out process, as I described, I was just a regular guy doing regualar things, next thing I know I'm staring at a celing in a room where people die, being told by nurses and doctors I'm way to young for this to happen now.

I hope my story influenced someone out there.

Yup, full throttle is some addictive shit. For the people who put it down, man you got bad taste. First enery drink I been addicted too, and still drinking.

Before I used to go crazy over redline, but then changed it so you can only buy it if your 18, so I switched over to the 5 hour energy crap. That only lasted me for a while, so I looked for a new energy drink source and I happened to find full throttle.

The taste at first took a while to get used too, but when I did... Man I drank this shit like it is water. BEST energy drink out there, way better then monster or rockstar. True they may have higher amounts of whatever ingridient it is, but they taste like crap. Full Throttle actully tastes good, So all you people putting it down just have crap ass taste.

Most I have ever done in 1 day was 2 24oz Full throttle's and a redline in the morning. Stayed up for 38 hours strait... felt some heart pains, for fluttering as what the guy above me calls it, but it wasn't that bad. And yes, this shit is addictive, if your going to drink one everyday for a month, yes you're going to get a fucking heart attack. Drink one every 3-5 days or so then your fine. I'm just trying to get off this shit.... More addicting then ciggarette's i tell ya! ah haha

Overall, Very good and addicting drink.

I love FT it has a wonderful taste and is a great pep for the early morning. The others taste like potpourri smells and the aftertaste is yuck. The only other drink i love is the new monster java. Full Throttle is the way to go if you want to start the day rights sans the jitters and headache.

I love full throttle! I was reading through some of the comments...not all flavors are the same. I love the blue demon one. I have tried all the others and I didn't like them. I drink them every morning before work.. I am a first grade teacher of 20 students so I have found that this drink really does help with getting excited about teaching!! But not everyone is going to like it and it isn't going to effect everyone the same! But....if you only tried the black,red,or green can I would recommend trying the blue!!!

Full Throttle is by far the best tasting energy drink out there! I've tried them all, most taste like cherry cough syrup. I like a select few others also, but full throttle is what I grab every time! Its delicious!! As far as energy goes I don't see much difference in any of them.

OKAY, IM ON COLORGUARD AT MY SCHOO AND EVERYONE IN BAND SAYS THAT FUOL THROTTLE CAN KILL ME AND I JUSTWANT TO KNOW CAN IT REALLY, BECAUS EI DRINK IT EVERY FRIDAY BEFORE HIGH SCHOOL GAMES AND MOST OF THE TIME DRINK 2 OR 3 AND IT DOES NOTHING TO ME, IS IT REALLY HARMFUL OR NOT.

I loved the taste of the citrus one. I occasionally drink full throttle, when I'm goin out after working all day, or if im way too tired at work. I've only drank this drink maybe 5 or 6 times, and I liked the energy it gave me.

But tonight after drinking it like 9 hours ago, My Jaw hurts sooo bad! Its like a tight feeling, and it's annoying...it's been hurting for the last 2 hours...of course I'm hella awake.

it's never happened any other time i've had this drink.... i just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this after drinking it...and if its common...LOL I tried reading everyones comment but you guys just wrote so damn much! :-P

hahahaha i think many energy drinks are bad for you, its like drinking a diabetes into your body! But i know that you need energy to survive some days. and i found an awsome energy drink that has no sugar, carbs and is very healthy plus its good for you! yup! VERY GOOD FOR YOU! its called XS Energy drink! if you drink 4 cans its compared to almost having an adrenaline shot! haha i may be exagerating, but it is loaded with b vitamins and it is VERY GOOD! I THink it is the best one out there, better tasting than these nasty energy drinks that have 3-4 flavors, and all are bad! XS energy has 9 flavors. Very cool! seriously i love them all! so i suggest, ppl to check them out, the thing is that you can only order them online, and i found this website where you can order them!
