I recently had a reader that questioned all of the “energy” in energy drinks saying that they provided no benefit over only caffeinated anything. So i decided that I should take the time to give it a serious response with some backed up research to help the case. First I will say this person has been trying to hijack threads on my site for awhile, posting with multiple names while mainly promoting a single other product. So with that knowledge of self promoting while not responding to emails, or leaving only fake email addresses, if my tone seems harsh... The three page post on a comment board was what fueled the fire... My comments are in bold and red. So here we go... Before reading this mis information that ANASTASIA is trying to spread after some pretty weak research you might want to read what exactly all the ingredients in the energy drinks do, effects of energy drink ingredients....

"The Energy Man" I reading your original review and I have to agree with Tylors post. You have no clue about what your talking about and because after reviewing what he said I did some research. What are the benefits you claim all these drinks bring to the table. Tylor claims the energy is all about the caffeine. You say its other ingredients like Gaurana and Taurine and other stuff besides the caffeine. I like how you make the words "the other stuff" sound so nutritionally beneficial and try to come across like your some kind informative beverage expert.

I say things like other stuff cause there is to much 'stuff' to talk about in a tiny little comment.... you gigantic doosh. I have read plenty about this stuff before but never cared enough to compile all the info on this stuff until such a doosh bag as yourself motivated me... So thanks.

I can not believe you also are so defensive and call people doosh bags to make up for your lack of inteligence and uneducated points of view and reviews. What the hell do you think Gaurans is? It is a red berry from the Amizon and has the same propriortay effects as caffeine only it is a weaker version of the drug. It has the same stimulating effects as caffiene and is almost made up of the same molecular structure. Caffeine is a regulated stimuland and drug, also addictive, proven perfectly safe by (GRAS)and guarana is not yet regulated there for they can add this as an additive and there is nothing the FDA or Health Canada can do about it. I bet you have also no clue about Taurine and what it is let alone the amounts parts per million listed in a caN would have no baring effect on any benefits to you system other than marketing hype and lipservice. I assume you believe all the uneducated rumors about Taurine and that it come from bulls testicals. What a bunch of bullshit one again and marketing hype.

So let me see we have "CAFFEINE" a proven energy enhancer. Gaurana a weaker derivative of the caffeine family, a proven energy enhancer used for years in these South American Countries but new to North America. Taurine, I will not do your home work for you. You are not lazy "Energy DAN" and you will splash open a reserve of energy from your forward thinking, robotic hearded sheep mantality cans of BULLSHIT.

Then there is sugar almost six table spoons per small can "MR ENERGY DAN". Refined sugar stumps me "DAN THE MAN WHO BELIEVES ENERGY COMES FROM A CAN" but I think it is a partial cause for feeling hyperness and an observed form of energy. Sugar when refined in colas, sports and energy drinks, also processed foods(which are laced with refined sugar) become purified synthetically and are stripped of there original life force, vitamins and minerals rendering them nutitionally useless.What remains "ENERGY EDUCATING US ALL DAN" is a sterile, pure carbohydrate that the human body cannot use. When ingested, there is incomplete metabolism, resulting in the formation of toxic compounds, such as pyruvic acid and sucrose structures containing 5 carbon atoms. The pyruvic acid accumulates in the brain and the nervous system and the abnormal structures accumulate in the blood, interfering with the normal respiratory process of the cell and depriving them of oxygen. In order to even absorb this "pre-digested" carbohydrate, the body has to deplete its natural store of vitamins and minerals (thiamine and B minerals and vitamins) So here we have the great benifical energy drinks happily gorging your robot hearded moronic pockets and depleting our natural benefically stored vitamins. Now lets start moving backwarde throwing in all the sterile shit artifical synthetc B2,B3,B5,B6,B12 minerals (taken from you first review posting) back in to our bodys to make up for the natural nutritional vitamins that were sripped out when we added the benefical drink loaded with six table spoon of refined sugar into our bodys in the first place.

actually we can process refined sugar just fine... Yeah it does have all the natural vitamins and other beneficial things stripped out of it, but that is why all the B vitamins and other minerals are adding into the drink. Also althele have a need for this sugar as stated in my last comment, but here is some more info:

TYLOR I believe in what you sais is true, it is all about the "CAFFEINE" because it does work, it is a stimulant the gives you energy and it is an addictive drug that keeps you coming back. Alot of companys such as Coke and Pepsi have made a fortune of addicting people to there products by spiking them with "CAFFEINE", it is the main ingredient and the only reason for all others adding artificial additives, flavourings, colourings refined sugar carbohydrates, preservatives and artificial minerals your body does not require if you are only looking just for the boost. The other mystery ingredient besides the ones EYE have mentioned are in these colas, sports and energy drinks to designed to mask the taste of the "CAFFEINE" one of the most bitter substances around.

Actually all of the added minerals (which is doesnt matter if artifical or synthetic cause we can use either in our body you skank.), vitamins, and other ingredients have uses in helping you actually produce more energy with your own body by increasing your metabolism and replenishing used salts and sugars in your system. actually since rockstar and many of the other double sized cans for the same cost have 2 doses that puts there caffeine at about 150-200 mg for many of these energy drinks that also have all the vitamins and salts that you need to replentish as well... I will say that buzzwater has one good thing... working out and these energy drink dehydrate you... Caffeine itself is extremely dehydrating... so drinking water as well is a good thing.
