This is a different rockstar flavor that has been out for awhile but i never got around to reviewing. I am not a big fan of cola's is part of the lower score (I actually like the taste of red bull and its clones). If you really prefer the coke and Pepsi flavors over many energy drinks this is DEFINATELY the drink for you. It does taste just like cola. A tiny aftertaste is there but I wouldn't even call it a bad aftertaste, just a little different than the colas. So this make an excellent rum and coke replacement if you want to get the extra energy and have your rum and coke. I have to say that is something that is does very well. As for energy it is good and definitely pumped me up pretty good. So that is awesome, I would definitely buy this over some cokes if I was planning on doing a rum and coke night... So Rock on Rockstar you have many a fan and I am one of them.

I'd have to disagree a tad, as I am a pepsi drinker, and don't enjoy the taste of Rockstar Energy Cola as much. (and the taste is deffinitly fresh in my mind).
I started making an energy drink site similar to yours for my local comunity, and then today stumbled on yours. Thought it was kinda interesting that the last drink rated was Rockstar Energy cola on both, and figured I'de throw in my two cents.

I love this drink!!!!!Its the best energy drink I have tried to date.Energy drinks are not for everyone.So to all the na sayers out there you dont know what your talking about.The taste is very well balanced and the energy you come away with really even surprised me and I think most energy drinks are a gimic to begin with.They think packaging will sell it even if it doesnt work.Rockstar delevers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After that, it leaves a horrible aftertaste in your mouth, that tastes like a mixture of cough medicine, urine, and the scrapings of the inside of an old man's colon. I would rather drink out of a colostome bag than a can of rockstar. I'm sure that they punish sinners in hell by making them drink rockstar for eternity, which is a horrible punishment. Avoid this drink at all costs!

I've tried Red Bull, Red Rave, Rockstar, and Full Throttle. Cant decide on which I like best.. I love em all! anyway I LOVE coke, like rockstar, so this one sounds pretty good to me. taste-wise Im not too picky though, I think its more the buzz that matters.

If the theme is to party like a rockstar, then it's right on point: rockstars frequently party with drugs, and the only way one could POSSIBLY enjoy this drink is to be pretty messed up on a nice little cocktail.
Besides, Michael Savage's son is behind this drink, and as some of you may know, Michael Savage is a "conservative radio commentator" which translates to a racist, fascist, homophobic asshole. I'm not saying all conservatives are what I just described (I have plenty of conservative friends and may even pute in a vote for Mitt Romney in 2008 if the dems don't come up with anyone good), but the ones who make it to talk radio hold very extreme and often hateful views. I would like to HOPE that Russell Weiner (the CEO and founder of ROCKSTAR) isn't his father's mental clone, but consiering they founded an unsuccessful political society together (the Paul Revere Society, look it up), I'm probably hoping for something that's not the truth.
As for why some of you have never tried Rockstar Cola, they took it off the market after getting some sort of distribution deal with Coke. Now, they just have Rockstar, Sugar Free Rockstar, and Rockstar Juiced. I've never tried the latter but it sounds like it might be halfway decent... WAY too many calories, though! ;)
