Pollen Burst

Pollen Burst
Cost: Less than 2.00 a pouch
Active ingredients: Caffeine, SOD (Superoxide Dismutase), Glucuronolactone, Inositol, B1,B6, B12, Inositol, Green Tea, Pollen Extract
Rating: 6.5 out of 10

Pollen Burst is a power that you mix with water to make an energy drink. It tastes a little like Tang, but not as sweet. I didn't get that pumped up from the energy drink, it has a little bit less caffeine than a cup of coffee. The taste is kinda weaker and watery compared to normal energy drinks like red bull, so it obviously doesn't mix well with booze, Don't even try it. The big difference though was that it claimed it suppressed appetite. That seemed odd to me cause many people seem to get hungrier from energy drinks. So i tired that out having one of the pollen bursts about 30 minutes before lunch... This actually worked I would eat smaller lunches or not even get hungry for hours. It was pretty nuts. So if your into energy drinks for the diet parts that make you burn more calories and such, this is definitely a product for you. I was very surprised that it suppressed appetites. Anyways since I am not really into energy drinks for diets this really isn't for me. I like my stuff to pump me up strong and mix with my vodka. So that is the part that lowered the review. If your more of a healthy person looking for energy drinks this might be great for you.

I've heard of this. But there is a canned version of this, or a sibling product. Tried it from a liquor store. I was bouncing off the walls, but was left with a funky aftertaste.

Sorry Skycpan, but Pollen Burst is not sold in stores or in a can. There is no sibling product. You can only purchase Pollen Burst from ProJoba International Marketing Executive through their web-sites. I am not sure what you tried. Let me know if you want to try the "real" thing. No funky aftertaste for sure! Here's to being "ENERGIZED!!!"

I"m going to be honest that Pollen Burst does have a "funky" after taste the first few times, but I've been drinking this stuff for nearly a year and a half and I don't even think about the taste anymore. And this stuff is absolutely amazing. I'd down one or two on nights when I was pulling all nighters for high school and college in the last year and a half. And whenever I am hungry and out of energy and I need a quick pick-me-up, I make myself a glass of this stuff and it perks me up. Yeah... This stuff is truly amazing. And I like the after effects a lot more than what I've experienced with Red Bull or whatever other energy drinks out there.

Okay this was prob not the drink I was talking about. Sorry y'all. But I did recall it having something to with bee/flower pollen. Oh well.

Hey Skycpan, no problem. It is interesting to know that some other energy drink out there has pollen in it. Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery after all! :-) Just as an FYI, Pollen Burst has Flower Pollen in it, not Bee Pollen. The difference?...well, Bee Pollen has bacteria, mold, Bee poop, and other icky stuff, i.e. is it not very clean. On the other hand, pure Flower Pollen is completely clean, sanitary and not contaminated by the Bee. Check out the facts at http://www.burstscience.com/research.htm and http://www.projoba.net/fod/1007_Pollen_MicroNutrient.pdf . (Sweet!...as the Bee’s might say)

And Michael, glad to know that PB is helping you out so much! Hope some of those all nighters were for something more fun than just studying. ;-)

I have been drinking Pollen Burst for 2 1/2 years and can honestly say I have never felt better or had as much energy as I do. During these past couple of years I have worked 2nd and 3rd shifts. Having Pollen Burst has made a huge difference when it comes to how my body handles those kind of hours. Recently I had sinus surgery and made sure I had a brand new box on hand for the post surgery times... I drank two packets i.e. glasses of this a day and it saved my butt. My healing time was VERY short and I had energy that should not have been there post surgery. Even my Doctor was suprised by how good I looked and how well I was healing. For late nights and every day Pollen Burst Rocks!

P.S. If your a new mom, you won't be able to live with out this. When you pull those all nighters it will help you get through the day!

So how does this stuff suppress appetite?

Posted by: Dee at February 12, 2007 09:32 AM

Hi Dee,

Good question…Flower Pollen is the reason why Pollen Burst causes appetite suppression. Flower Pollen is one of the most complete whole-food sources on the planet! That means that it feeds your body completely, leaving it feeling satisfied.

It’s like this….say you eat a store bought tomato in the middle of winter. It tastes like water with a bit of tomato flavor. It looks red and ripe but it is low in nutrition. Your Body says, “Hey, I need more food cause this tomato ain’t cutting it. I need some nutrition here! Eat more!” You still feel hungry and eat more…usually more food void of nutrition.

So…think back to eating a red, ripe home-grown tomato in the middle of summer. It tastes like this super sweet, tomatoy delicacy. (Ok, so it isn’t chocolate but bear with me…lol) Your Body says, “Hey, this thing has nutrition in it. I’m happy. I’m satisfied. No need to eat more.” You don’t feel as hungry and you eat less.

Flower Pollen is like the best, nutritional thing you can get. So…when you use it your Body says, “I am soooo happy cause I got all that I need here. I am totally satisfied, good, all set here.” Now you feel full, your appetite suppressed, your energized and you are ready to go.

Hey, it worked for Dan, it will work for you too!

Back at ya,

Jill
