This is a Red Bull clone. I mean the flavor is the same, the can has similar color and style, and the name even follows the "adjective animal" format. So why would this one score higher than the original Red Bull? Because they didn't come up with the stupid idea in the first place. Mad Croc is the best thing EVER!!!!!!!! It keeps you up if you have a long drive ahead of you. Cramming for final exams, staying out late…… you name it. This gum rocks plus they have the new spearmint gum, which doesn’t even taste like caffeine at all. And also, we have to remember its an ENERGY GUM not breath freshener, its suppose to taste strong. This is my favorite gum of all times! I especially love the texture. I have so much trouble spitting it out. I want to go on and on chewing. I couldn't believe it when I saw how many of you don't like it.

I just tried Mad Croc today from my local Target. The key is to keep on chewing it, it tastes good at first and then kinda shitty(I spit out my first piece as soon as I got home because I didn't chew it and it was fucking disgusting) but after a while of chewing the caffiene juice fades out and it tastes great! I've had Jolt gum and that flavor's bland compared to Mad Croc cinnamon. Plus it really does get you high! I'm flyin right now on my sixth piece!

This Mad Croc stuff tastes freaking fantastic. I just tried the Spearmint at CVS and chewed the whole pack. I am bouncin!! First energy stuff that tastes good and works.

The following is my account of Mad Croc Energy Gum:

For approximately two minutes, the flavor of the gum was as I had anticipated, a somewhat intense mint. After this initial jolt of flavor had subsided, the bitter taste of caffeine began seeping through. If you've ever accidentally chewed a caffeine capsule or any other type of medicine you'll know the taste, bitter, chalky, and generally very unpleasant. I was sorely tempted to spit the damn thing out except for the fact that I needed a caffeine fix, so like a true junkie I swallowed my pride and kept chewing in the hope that the pain would subside. Sure enough, after about another ten minutes, the awful taste had vanished and I was left with something still tasting slightly of mint. You can begin to feel the effects of this gum pretty quickly and I have found said effects to last longer than other energy options.

This all being said, this gum is not for the faint of heart. The caffeine is good, hell, it's great. However, the quality of the buzz alone does not outweigh the hell that one has to go through for it. Fortunately, there is another very redeeming quality to this gum: it's price. For a pack of 10, I paid about $1.50. Seeing as it only takes two pieces to get the same amount of caffeine as is in a can of red bull, you can save a lot of money this way. For about the price of a can of Red Bull, you can have the equivalent of five cans of caffeine thanks to this gum! The fact that this caffeine is so damn cheap makes the flavor completely tolerable!

I recommend this gum to anyone who is looking for a cheap caffeine buzz, 8/10

Citrus gum is so very yum in my tum.

i tried spearmint, and it tastes like spearmint gum for 2 minutes. then it tastes like sh!t ! but if u pop a piece of orbit in ur mouth the mad croc taste goes away.

Yeah, this stuff tastes really strong at first, which isn't great for any gum, and in less than a minute all the flavour is gone. I didn't get much of a boost from it, but I'm not really sensitive to caffeine. Overall, I wouldn't suggest buying it. If you want something to give you energy, just go buy caffeine pills. 16 200mg pills for about $5.

I got some of the citrus flavor. Tasted like absolute crap, the flavor went away quite quickly and I was chewing quite bitter gum.

But I could tell that it does have a lot of caffeine and B vitamins in it, it really did pick me up.

I guess when it comes down to it, the effects of it are more important to me than the taste. They should have made the flavor stronger, though, like a peppermint to mask the taste. Oh well.
