180 Energy x-3 Lemon Lime Citrus Blast

180 Energy x-3 Lemon Lime Citrus Blast
Cost: $2.00 8.2 oz
Active ingredients: Caffeine,B6,B12
Rating: 5.5 out of 10

OK this is the low carb, low calories version of their energy drink. Which, I like the original 180 and just realized i don't have a review of 180 on my site... oops i guess i will have to grab another can and remember it a little better. Anyways the drink taste pretty good it has the obvious aftertaste of using one of the fake sweeteners. It doesn't pump you up a whole lot, which makes sense considering its lack of ingredients, this drink is only working with Caffeine and it doesn't seem there is a ton of that in there either. So it is a nice refreshing citrus drink, but with most drinks offering you double the size for this cost and having better low carb versions out there, I say stick with something that provides more bang for the buck more juice to let loose, and other horrible one liners suggesting you try something else, unless you love lemon lime...

My son rides Motocross and have someone at the track that is sponsored by 180. That is the only engery drink that I have ever liked.

Have you tried the new 180 Blue with acai?

Posted by: Jeff at November 3, 2006 06:17 AM

The only flavor of 180 I have tried is the 180 Blue with acai; it was actually pretty good--even tasted better than Red Bull. I've been on an acai kick this year, but unless you live by a a market with Brazilian imports, finding something similar to this won't be easy. That said, trying to find it has been an exercise in futility. Only a handful of stores in Hermosa & Manhattan Beach seem to be stocking 180 Blue. With that in mind, not that I have anything personally against Anhauser-Busch, I don't know that it's worth my while to trek all the way down to the beach to pick 'em up. It does make for a great beach/strolling along the strand drink, so when I'm in the neighborhood, I'll look for it.

I was pleased to see 180 energy on your review list......rd to find these drinks. They are especially good for those who can't tolerate "taurine". The orange is especially good.
