i just about peed myself when i saw this on the counter at walgreens. it's bad enough NOS (nitrious oxide systems) sells octane booster and is shamlessly promoted in the fast and furious movies, but now an energy drink, whats next hair gel? anyways i had to try it. not very good. but funny as hell. open up a can at a car show or around your car friends its a great laugh. almost as much fun as drinking jones soda's old energy drink, whooopass!

To answer Sarah's post, the term 'NOS' does mean 'we' in Spanish, but that isn't the refrence intended here. 'NOS' is a brand of Nitrous Oxide, which is made to cool a car's engine, increase horsepower, and improve preformence for a temporary period of time. This translates into the energy drink, stemmed from the same logo. Sorry to disappoint Sarah, but this is really a crosover of a logo, and has nothing to do with Spanish. Lo siento. :)

NOS kicks serious ass, it blows all others away for the price, gas stations that are national seem to be the best place to find them. Sunoco does carry it in its co-ops, franchises obviously have their own choice. In other words if it is Indian, or Paki owned it is possible you will not find it, but you may ask them to order it most will oblige if you are a regular. Throttle tastes like crap by the way. If you like a grapefruit taste go with NOS baby.

Just wondering....what color is NOS...when i first found out about NOS energy drink i was on Holleys street racing carburator website....thats kinda wierd...a Nitrous oxide system, owned by Holley performance...is putting out an energy drink...thats awesome...i mentioned someone should come up with a NOS drink not long after the first Fast&Furious came out....brilliant people.

I use to hate the taste of redbull and most energy drinks, but after drinking them for over a year I love the taste. Kronik is one of my favorite tasting on the market. Very unique blend I buy 3-5 a week.

I dig the taste. Taste like sobe a.rush. I found them for .79 cents a can on sale. I don't think it lit me up like a rockstar or monster though.

Has anyone tried Red Jak? Just happened to come across a can and I understand it's pretty new to the market. I love the Lo-Carb Red Jak and the fact that it's cheaper and I'm not wasting my money on a piddle 8oz can. It's sweet and has a great flavor,, without that crappy after-taste. Plus mixes great!

Red Jak just hit the central Ca. It is by far the best tasting gig out there. A hint of strawberry. Under two dollars. It lit me up for about 6 hrs. a must..

Hi all, I have to tell you NOS is the BEST!! the taste and KICK!! It is kinda hard to find.. best place I have found it is in Gass-stations (SHeets)
I have tryed the Blue Monster, its ok but man what a crazy taste, and the aftertatse is somewhat nasty! The other one I like is JOLK, that is a great taset!

I have tried quite a few SUGAR FREE energy drinks in the last month including NOS. I would say that NOS has the best sugar free tasting drink. I also like that it does not have guarana in it, just caffeine as the stimulant. To much guarana makes many people too anxious even if it is "natural."

NOS is by far my favorite energy drink. Also, if anyone is interested in trying the worst tasting energy drink ever created, i would recommend "Steven Seagal's Lightning Bolt". The combination of the priceless name with the pukeworthy, rotten-apple tasting beverage makes for an interesting experience.

My crew and I are hitting that NOS like monkeys on electrodes! NOS is tasty, goes down smooth, provides a decent boost, and is very satisfying. Warnings notwithstanding, a 40 oz would be great! The sugar-free version is pretty good for a diet drink, too!

Worst drink is something called 'Energy Deuce.' Also, try hitting the dollar stores for decent off-brands! I found a really tasty brand that i was able to scoop up at $.60 each!

The first time I tried this drink I was at the NOPI event in Epping NH and absoluetly love it, so being from Canada I tried to buy some to take back with me but they wouldnt sell any there and I couldnt find any stores that carry it! I just had a NOS while me and my gf were watching a movie, and i just drove her home cuz i was puking so much. Nos is F***ed up! it has tons of weird chemicals in it. Don't drink it.

NOS energy drink started to appear in Chicago. I see them in JEWEL stores. I also heard that KROGER stores suppose to distribute this drink but there are no such stores in Chicago so I can't confirm such info.

My bf accidently came across it thru a friend and said it was awesome. Though Ive been looking ever since the other day to find it. If Kroger sells it I havent seen it ( Kroger= Texas) and stores like Jewel are Albertsons here in texas. so i havent seen it there either. But I just recently started drinking Monster Khaos its my fav drink and its very fruity and yummy. It has given me a boost.. ive been awake since 12 in the afternoon yesterday and now its 430 am. Really like NOS.. passionfruit, as opposed to orange. not too sweet like others I have tried.. In the sugar version, I think the 'aftertaste' is more like the aftereffect of grapefuit juice..maybe there is grapefruit juice in it also?
OH Kroger's carry it, and some gas stations.. Ours its always running out of the sugar version (haven't tried the sugar-free, yet,, really DON"T like artificial sweeteners). Kroger's told me it's a 'vendor item' .Guy actually caought the supplier in the store that day for me and asked him to leave more regular.

If your on the west coast, pretty much every QT and every Fry's has NOS. But they tend to sell off the shelves in the QT's really quickly.

I first tried NOS while working in the Petaluma area, and have been in search of it ever since. This drink has kind of a crappy aftertaste(deit) BUT, here is the difference from any of the other energy drinks I have tried-it gives me a slightly hightened feeling of "well-being" that is hard to describe. Not exactly a "high" to be sure, but awsome anyhow. I rarely find the stuff, so with the great amount of time between consumpsion, it is obvoius to me it is the drink. I thought I was just imagining it the first time! I would order it on-line, but it costs $35 a case AND $20 more to ship to socal......

I think NOS is good, but it gave me a headache, chest pains, and stomache ache. I don't know why though. It's weird, I'm definitely not digging that after taste though.

There have been a few times where I drank 3 24 oz Rockstar energy drinks and it gave a decent boost, but the other day i had 2 16 oz NOS and couldn't sleep at all. My body was shaking and I ended up just not going to sleep. It fucked up my stomache too. I guess most energy drinks make you shit bad news, but NOS is hardcore. Out of all the energy drinks i've had (Rockstar, Red Bull, No Fear, Adrenaline Rush, NOS, Monster, and Red Jak), NOS is the most powerful.

I work graveyard and I have a 4 year old son that doesnt really let me sleep during the day. Ive tried other energy drinks over the past months to help me stay awake at work, and I like NOS the best. It doesnt make me jittery or shaky like some of the others do, it doesnt taste horrid. i hit the store and grab 2 cans for work, one for when I get there ad then one at my lunch break. I am up all night, and its great.

I don't totally agree with this review. I used to hate Sobe drinks and I really think its an aquired taste. The first 4-5 times I tried Sobe drinks I didn't like them at all but now that I'm used to them I actually like the taste of it.

NOS is pretty good, i grabbed a can at Fred Meyers so i could add it to my collection. it gives a big dose of Caffeine too. From reading around i have found sources that say these things have 400mg of caffeine in a 16oz can!

this is one of my favorites NOS is not only great tasting and cheap but it has a pretty good to it and i would give it a 9 of 10 cause the fact i enjoy drinking it. some energy drinks taste terrible and dont pack that much of a punch

i love nos. i tried it the other day for the first time. being a faithful redbull fan (spending about 20 dollars a week on it) i was skeptical. the taste was great (bottle, not can) and the results shocking. my friends could not stand to be around me, i was literally bouncing off the walls! it was such a rush. loved it! ps. do notttt drink with alcohol.

i had the 22 oz : ] it had 343 mg of caffeine. this gave me the biggest kick i've had off of any energy drink so far. the taste isnt too shabby. but who cares? i only wanted this 4 the kick. it gave me wat i needed so... idc wat u other ppl say until u've tried the 22 oz... if u want a kick u really need 2 try it.

NOS is a requirement when I go skating at the Roller Gardens here in St.Louis Pk, Mn. I'll buy a can and I'm flying through the session, pushing the envelope- even though I have water- I'll get a very strong, stable surge of energy without losing it through jitters which I don't get with this drink. NOS is some SERIOUSLY potent drink. 15.5 mg of caffeine per oz, which is 2 and a half times as much as Red Bull or Rockstar. Add that to the 2750mg of Taurine and you have a seriously, seriously potent kick. Lightly carbonated, so it goes down smooth. It has a uniqueish taste, hard to describe, but it's good. Wears off in about 3-4 hours, but after half a bottle you still got another 4 left! Drink in moderation kiddies!

NOS so far is the craziest energy drink I've ever had. I drank it for most of the time during finals review or at any time I'm feeling lazy, and damn...I get things done and end up staying up all night! I usually get it at Autozone (Advanced Auto Parts in East Coast), Pep Boys and sometimes Walmart for like $2, but mostly at automotive stores here in Cali or maybe anywhere in U.S. (it's NOS!, duhrr). People who are highly sensitive to caffeine or are in some illegal drugs or pregnant or kids under maybe.. 14 should not drink this, they'll get f..ed up really bad. I think guarana makes people crash.. how dare they to give it 6 out of 10!! It's the effect that matters, not the taste.
