Alright ACT energy drink is another drink built on the make a ton of random people sell the product and hawk it to their friends Idea. The problem is some of the drinks using this method are at least kinda decent drinks. Act is probably the worst powdered drink I have had. I don't know though cause lift off lime was pretty terrible as well. Anyways this is a berry flavor, but the major problem is that is doesn't really dissolve all the way in the water. I had to keep adding more and more water and stirring, but it never fully dissolved. Yeah so you keep getting chunks of the powder in the drink. This drink was bitter with a bad after taste and that was after i watered it down a bunch. Before I watered it down it was almost undrinkable. I would avoid this one unless your getting free samples, and then give it a shot, but I doubt your going to like it. Oh well another attempt at a powdered energy drink is gross.
website: ACT Energy
Posted by Dan at August 9, 2005 06:35 PMYes I do agree the single packet servings or the canister in the powder form is gritty and chunky with a bitter taste at the end. But what you should really do is put 8oz of ice cold water into a blender add the single packet or one scope. Then blend till well mixed will look like cherry smoothes totally, totally different taste without the grit or chunks the after taste is no worse then what a diet soda would leave on my taste buds anyway. In addition, on the hot days, I like to through in 3 or 4 ice cubes to get that slushy type drink. I guess really if you want to compare it with other energy drinks you should try the manufactured bottle A.C.T. this would be more comparable to other manufactured bottled or caned energy drinks. The only thing I really do not care for are all the preservatives or what ever else is added for shelve life. So I think I will just keep with the powder blending it right now it works for me no jitters or caffeine sick in the stomach feeling.
Posted by: Clarence Opolsky at August 18, 2005 02:59 PMI like the taste myself. To me, it has cherry flavor. It does leave a bit of residual in the bottom but I don't mind. Don't mind residual in my chocolate milk either though.
Also you can mix up your own ideas. Fruitshake etc. A few friends of mine are working heavy labor type jobs. They're using it for energy and thirst and they're happy with it.
Great site here guys.

Hi there all. The new act drink seems to be a
be a more afforable natural drink. It gives me
plenty of hours of non stop energy.Might not
work for everybody but worth giving this a try.
Samples are free. Then you can make the call.
Whats free these days.I enjoy the taste. Just
add little more water to take away the bitter
taste. Also buy the sample packs as they disolve
much quicker. Thanks for the post.
Posted by: Rod Mcleod at August 23, 2005 07:36 PMTaste of course is a personal preference as we all know. Some will like something and some won't. Yes there were some great suggestions offered above, I personall like convenience and that is what makes A.C.T. from M2C Global and great convenient high quality energy drink that as they say Day 1: You'll Feel It. Day 2: You'll Love It and Day 3: You'll Be Telling Friends.
As far as the grit goes, let it sit for a short while after mixing it, maybe even 10-15 minutes and that will help. Just put A.C.T. in a water bottle and slowly enjoy.
The Science of these products are what amazing:
Key 1:
Target Metabolic Pathways for Specific Results
Every cell in your body depends on energy to perform the functions of that cell. Most people eat foods high in calories and low in the nutrients your cells need to perform.
A.C.T. targets specific metabolic pathways to create optimal balance and performance at the cellular level.
Key 2:
Capture the best of Nature through Good Science
Natural products work! A.C.T. uses nature to deliver results. Nutrients abound in plants, herbs, fruits and vegetables. A.C.T. combines extracts from these various natural sources to produce positive results. Specialized crystalline extracts from these natural sources combine to deliver results. You can have both ENERGY and NUTRIENTS working together when Nature and Good Science meld.
Key 3:
Seek out REAL STORIES... Not Claims!
Any successful business is story driven and results oriented. There is a trillion dollar health industry during the next ten years. The spoils will go to products that actually work, are easily consumed, and deliver immediate long-lasting results.
Well, if youare in the US - the company M2C Global will send out Free Sampples of A.C.T. to you just for signing the no obligation Free Dealership Form (so they have your shipping information) in the belief that if you like it you may continue with the product and even tell others.
It is worth trying A.C.T. by M2C Global.

carefull act sellers, these comments are getting close to being advertisements and if your trying to sell your products through my site, I will begin to remove comments. As for ideas like use a blender or let it sit for 10 -15 minutes... that truly takes away from the benifit of being a portable powder that you can mix up any time, if it takes that much effort to mix it well they should premix it and release it in a bottle.
I do agree taste varies and some might like it's cherry like taste... it does have a unique taste it brings to the market, that is very different than alot of what is out there. I will give that credit out.
Posted by: dan "energy" man at August 25, 2005 01:02 PMHello Dan,
I guess the M2C Global ACT dealers are just excited about this great product. I agree posts should not be ads for ACT Energy Drink.
I have come across 2 people so far that did not like the M2C Global ACT product but most do like it. Shaking in a shaker or even just adding it to a water bottle helps with the mixabilty.

Posted by: Robert Attieh at August 30, 2005 01:12 AMI did not like the taste the first time I tried it but have since gotten used to it. Have tried a lot out there and like the powder convenience. You are right needing to shake well but that is only about 30 seconds and it mostly disolves. I've used it with water, in protein shakes and with juice. I like grape juice and the combo works well. The only way to know for sure is to try it for yourself. I would buy it if it were in a store. The business part is only a plus. I do know if you have IBS, do not take it. So far out of about 60 people who have sampled it, only 2 complained and they both had colon problems. If you do have colon problems, try working on that before you try an energy drink. Clean your colon and water will get you up...LOL
Posted by: Maurice Goulet at September 5, 2005 11:23 PMI love the taste NOW!! but then I never noticed a bitter after taste..
I mix it with water in a 800ml bottle, it's 4 times more than what is recommended on the sachet, but more water is good for you too.
It's personal preference, I don't like any cordial type drinks strong either!
The bottle I use it just an old 'water bottle' that has ridges in the bottom and indentations in the sides, mixing by adding the powder after the water in this bottle leaves no grit or residue, only takes a few seconds. A portable blender!!!
The point is though that, it does provide energy.
First of all cool website. As for the taist of A.C.T. I can't get enough of it. But everyone is different!
I happen to be very close to corporate and we are listening and making improvements to the overall taist of A.C.T. However we will not stray from the 4g of natural stivia sugar that diabetics can take. We are wanting to stay at the 5g carbs and the 22 calories that this drink offers.
But then again if taist IS a problem....I was unaware we were selling coolaid. It's a natural healthy energy drink that works! It's not that A.C.T. is not bad for you...rather it is GOOD for you! Show me another energy drink that works like A.C.T. and compares in health and pricing. There isnt one out there...

Posted by: Joseph Jenkinson at September 13, 2005 11:41 AMI am 74 yeaars young. I have had a triple bypass. I love it. It boasts my energy level when I take it in the afternoon to the high I have when I get up at 5 in the morning. I like the convience of the powder & water. At my age you can never drink enough water. I seldom drink soda, but I enjoy my cocktail before dinner. I plan on letting A.C.T. help me to live in the lifestyle I enjoy. It will help me to maintain the quality of life which is what I want.
Posted by: Dick Pennington at October 1, 2005 06:48 AMI've tried many energy drinks, pills and potions over the years, and ACT is most certainly the best yet!
It still works after 2 months of taking it almost evreyday (unlike others that I seem to become immune to after only a few days), at a cost of about $00.80 per day. I absolutely love the flavor/taste. If you drink diet drinks you're probably more likely to like the taste. If you drink suger drinks, it may taste different to what your used to.
Stevia as a sweetner is probably the healthiest option on the planet, compared to any type of sugar or artificial sweetner.
Use any bottle to mix, this works quickly and easily. Warm or room temperature water mixes very well (almost instantly), then add cold water or ice cubes after all is dissolved. Cold water seems to clump it up.
I haven't found any difference between packets or cannister.
Not to mention my biceps have increased in size and firmness. I do some part time physical work (about 2 days per week), and since drinking ACT my bicep muscles have greatly improved. That's a great side effect!
Posted by: Stewart Robinson at October 4, 2005 11:57 AMA.C.T. ROCKS!!! Put it in a shaker cup and let it rip! My friends and I work in the hot sun in Florida and A.C.T. keeps us going. I'm very pleased with it.

You know, the merest fact that so many sellers of this product are on this board makes me wonder how good this stuff actually is? I mean seriously, the last time I heard people praising something so much, it was in a church.
Hallelujiah! Praise A.C.T.! I was blind but after I drank A.C.T. I could SEE!
Puh-leez. You'd prabably do a lot better without the forced sound of your "testimonials" and bullshiat pseudo science. "Metabolic pathways"? "Nature and Good Science"?
But, just to be fair, I've signed up for a free sample and we'll see how good (or bad) your product is.
Posted by: Chuck Rogers at October 18, 2005 09:58 AMI tried ACT and had 6 others try it as well. The verdict was unanimous, we all thought it tasted horrible and experienced loss of sleep later that night. I used a blender with about twice the water recommendation and still found it to be putridly sweet with a bitter aftertaste. The company did refund my purchase though.
Posted by: Larry Schoon at October 30, 2005 05:54 PMI just pour my A.C.T sachet on top of water in a hand shaker or bottle, give a few shakes & its all dissolved. So the flavour is a bit different.
Many people absolutely LOVE the flavor. Either way, I didn't buy it for the flavor, I bought it for the energy & it sure gives that. A.C.T REALLY gives energy, so normally you don't take it later than mid afternoon, in case it disturbs your sleep (like others have found out)
The good thing about A.C.T is that it gives a natural, smooth, very focussed, feel good energy lasting about 6-7 hours. Natural A.C.T isn't reliant on sugar & caffeine to deliver its energy. It doesn't give a 'sugar fix' or 'caffeine fix' like so many other energy drinks out there. Anyway, some of those other energy drinks don't taste all that crash hot either at first. One needs to acquire a taste for them too. A.C.T not only gives you energy, but it is GOOD for you too. Many people are getting lasting benefits as well as effective, safe, natural energy.
M2CGlobal and the ACT Energy Drink have been getting great revues by most of the people that are buying it through my business. A few did not but they quickly found ways to enjoy it like adding it to crytal light. But these people were the exception where as the majority enjoyed the product and the feeling and effects from it.

Posted by: Robert Attieh at January 2, 2006 09:56 PMWhen I first tried I didn't like the taste either but lucky me, Mark Strickland gave me 3 samples to try so I can test it out for 3 days. The taste got better by the 3rd day. On the third day, I mixed it in with banana creme yogurt and this made a big difference for me. Even my young kids like it, of course, I don't give them much of it because I don't need them energized any more than they already are. LOL I agree that it is an afforable drink out there though. I also think that if you can get your hands on some xooma water and mix the A.C.T with it, you've got yourself some rocket fuel.

Personally, I really enjoy the taste myself. To me, it has a berry taste with a bit of a kick to it.
I have had a couple of customers who didn't like it, but mixed it with various juices, and love it that way.
I've only had one person who did not want to buy it because of the taste, but loved the amount of energy that he got from it.
I've tried a lot of other energy drinks, and quite frankly, none of them gives me the same energy boost.
Yes, some of them do taste better, but I am more for the amount of energy I get. Taste is secondary for me.
I'm a crane operator and play a bit of sport in the tropics of far northern Oz , when I first tried act , apart from the taste which does grow on you , I took over the job I was part of with noticeable effect , commented on by my workmates . I felt very invigorated physically and mentally and this continued for the 3 days of sampling . I then bought some for myself and found they were still good but not quite as stimulating so I asked my supplier who said he had noticed the same and had asked the same question of mc2global who stated that they had reduced a little of one of the ingredients due to some people getting hot flushes but were looking to find the happy medium apparently .
I am very happy with this product and I have no wish to sell it , though I have given some samples to some close friends for their own benefit . This is a very good forum , thank you .
What is the recommended mix for the pouches- as in 1 pouch to ho much water?
How many servings are in the cannister- again 8 oz. or 16 oz.
Thanks
Posted by: rachel at January 25, 2006 06:04 PMMy husband and I really like the effects of ACT and have been using it for 2 months. I am turned off however by the whole pyramid scheme of purchasing. I am therefore looking for a replacement to purchase without having to go through all the "ra, ra". Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Posted by: Denise at January 28, 2006 10:36 AMI am, 39 and feeling so much better over the past 3 days, last weekend I was in the hospital for 4 days ( diabeties blood sugar over 500 and heart concerns ). My Blood sugar level was 91 today, my energy level amazes me, I've been getting a good night sleep and waking up fully rested, something that had not been happening for a long time. After reading through the ingredients of ACT, I believe along with eating healthy, ACT has played a key role in my health and energy improvements. I was outside playing football with my sons yesterday. My health and energy is most important. Last weekend in the hospital bed, I didn't see much of my kids. This weekend has been a pleasant change.
I had done a little research on the internet to find out what some of the ingredients in ACT are. If someone has more questions about the ingredients, that's fine, you may want to pass on this information.
ACT Ingredients:
Vitamin B6, or Pyridoxine HCL - plays a role in the metabolism of protein, fats and carbohydrates.
Cyanocobalamin - is a synthetic (man-made) form of vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 is important for growth, cell reproduction, blood formation, and protein and tissue synthesis.
Vitamin B, or nicotinamide - is required for cell respiration, helps in the release of energy and metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins, proper circulation and healthy skin, functioning of the nervous system, and normal secretion of bile and stomach fluids. It is used in the synthesis of sex hormones, treating schizophrenia and other mental illnesses, and a memory-enhancer.
Maltodextrin - is a food additive that is somewhat sweet. Maltodextrin is a easily digestible carbohydrate made from natural corn starch.
Crystalline Fructose - is a sugar made from corn that has a low glycemic index and therefore doesn't cause the dramatic rise in blood sugar that table sugar does.
Creatine monohydrate - is a supplement that serves as an energy reserve in muscle cells. Muscular contraction is powered by the breakdown of ATP (adenosine triphosphate) to ADP (adenosine diphosphate). When all the ATP is broken down, creatine phosphate in the muscle donates a phosphate group to ADP, and further energy reactions can occur. Creatine monohydrate is a precursor to creatine phosphate. By supplementing with CM, CP levels in muscle apparently are maximized, and more muscular work can occur, since there are greater energy reserves to use.
My awake times during the day are usually 18 hour days, like most people. ACT has given me the ability to go through my day full of energy, alertness and overall good feeling, without the concern of wirey jitters and crashing. I've never had anything like ACT and feel comfortable sharing my experience with my family and friends, even more so seeing that health is a great concern of ours.
ACT doesn't taste that great to me, but drinking sugar filled coffee, sodas and kool-aid type drinks was a major reason Im a diabetic today.
I hope this information is as helpful to you as it has been for me.

Ok, I became a dealer for A.C.T w/o trying it first. What a mistake. The OP hit the nail on the head when he said it was the worst powder drink he has ever tasted. Couldn't have said it better myself. Not only does it take like crap, it bares a resemblence to it too. I noticed little to no increase in energy (Neither did the other 4 people that I gave it to), I was up all night and 2 of my friends had the same reaction.
Don't say to mix it with this or that, because you know that the majority of people will throw it away and grab a red bull or something that doesn't require mixing it to make it taste less putrid, and besides, we shouldnt' have too. There are a million other alternatives that taste much better and do more for you.
To be fair I will give it some more time and see if there are any long-term differences, but my initial feeling is: YUK!
By the way, it costs about $1/pouch which gives you two servings (1 in the morning and one at night) that's according to the directions. Realisticaly, 1 pack/day or approx. $365/year if you're a dealer, think it's double or triple if you buy retail. I got 30 packs for $30, which is not to bad of a price if it were any good.
I only said all that because I noticed you had ?? for cost.
I take a few different energy drinks and also test out many as well and I do give M2CGlobal ACT ENERGY DRINK at big thumbs up. I like the energy it gives me (I do take the whole pouch at one time) and may even do 2 or 3 energy drinks a day.
I do find it interesting that a few people stated that they "noticed little to no increase in energy" but they were "up all night". I think that means it must have worked.
I have been taking ACT Energy Drink now for about 9 months and though the taste is not the "BEST" it has grown on me. I actually did not mind it from the start but do understand why some people may not like it. But again it is for the effect and being a healthy drink, tasting amazing would only be a bonus.
Posted by: Robert Attieh at March 29, 2006 10:14 PMI started using ACT in July of 2005. I still buy it. I drink it after lunch before I go back to work to give me that needed "after lunch" perk and it does do it! I do agree for some that the taste might be awkward. I drink it with cold water, about 8-10 oz. That in itself makes a big difference to me. I don't like it warm. I am 165 lbs and I do feel a difference within 5-10 minutes of taking it. Others who say "no difference" in feeling might possibly weigh more which means they might need more of the product to make it work. For me though, yes, I can definitely tell a difference and wouldn't be without it. Not a sales pitch, just being honest. I have tried Red Bull and honestly, THAT is a drink that has an awful taste. ALSO, since these are "energy" drinks and not "regular" drinks, I don't sip the things anyway. I mix it up and gulp it down. ACT 's cherry-like flavor appeals to me. It may not to others and that is ok. Just wanted to give my support for ACT.
Posted by: Doug Boon at April 7, 2006 11:15 PMI would have to say that your earlier assessment of the M2C Global business model and product was way off the mark. I will agree that mixing ACT per its instructions with 8oz of water is rather strong, and it should be mixed with 14oz-24oz of water for a fantastic taste..and EFFECT!!!
Next, just to update everyone M2C Global is growing by 1000 distributors a day. Now to be fair not al of them are ordering right away, so lets just say 40% are ordering that is still 400 people a day or over 12K people a month conservatively speaking.
Next, the company is just approaching its first year in operation, and will pass Xango's first year record of 50M - that is very impressive!
Next the company now has two blockbuster products that are the original formulations of the watered down versions marketed by one of the most recently successful MLM company's of late (Hint: The name starts with an "I" and ends with an "X")
Finally, the fact that this company is NOT a mlm company, but rather a manufacturer with a mlm type compensation plan is incredibly refreshing. Even more exciting is that there is a TON of cash to be made with this company and smartly, they decided not to tie up all the money into the compensation plan. WHY IS THE HOT!?!?!?
The company pays out about 12.5% through the binary structure - which is very fair and in keeping with the best binary companies out there. There are matching commissions, car bonuses, expense accounts AND unteathered commission money.
For example: If you signed up 10 people in a month with the top package of approximately $290.00 you would be looking at just over $300.00 in residual commission - good..fair...and to be expected in MLM; however unlike MLM there was also a $100 per new dealer order which would have resulted in a bonus payout of $1000.00 of unteathered money paid directly to YOU the dealer, and not watered down through a relic compensation plan and shared with upline people who did nothing perhaps to make those sales.
Why is this great well besides the obvious reason (which most of you have already grasped) attrition is the number one culprit to Network Marketers failure (along with others) because people need to make money fast. If a person is going to make money in any MLM it is going to happen in their first 30-60 days. If they see a difference in that time they will avoid talking to their warm market (which is BAD news for you) and then they will just fade away.
When a new person makes over $1300 in their first month or two they are FIRED up - you will have a very hard time stopping them from moving the ball forward since they now are a believer - very important.
There are other ways to make money with M2C Global and to get sales it is as easy as passing out the sample pak of ACT - WHICH TASTES EXCELLENT IF MIXED TO TASTE!

Posted by: MLM Genie at April 23, 2006 09:59 AMAfter hearing tons of worships and praises on this product, has anyone who is doing competitive sports such as cycling/track&field/marathon/triathlon actually compared this energy drink with others in the market such as Accelerade/Endurox ? I've been taking accelerade for sometime and I tend to get immue to it after a week or so, thus I need to constantly cycle my nutrition.
I'm asking this because I take part in competitive cycling and I need something that works, or at least to consume when I get immue to my current nutrition. Since the drink contains a fair amount of creatine monohydrate, I guess it'll be replacing my current supply of creatine if it really works for me.
I would like to hear comments from people participating endurance sports at competition level to share their experiences with this product as well as the price of this product. Haven't found much information on price of this product after surfing around for almost an hr.

Amigo
ACT dealers, IBO's, or whatever... If you keep posting shit about how your company is growing I will delete all the posts about ACT. This is about the drink, not about the company or how much money you dream of making from a modified pyramid scheme. So SHUT UP and STOP POSTING ON MY FORUMS.
Posted by: Dan "energy" Man at April 24, 2006 09:34 AMI have read some reviews on the product and had read that the formula and taste was tweaked to provide better flavor (since the original posting and reveiw date above), so I have only tasted what they sent out last week. I like it. I mixed mine with a warmer water in a shaker container, then to my last "batch" I added Fruit2O water and some ice. It tasted VERY Sweet that way. I also did it with plain water, though should have added ice. Noticed a feeling of mental clarity and well-being.
Posted by: Sheri at April 25, 2006 02:03 AMYou definitely should have put the drink in a container or bottle that you can shake well. I find it mixes much better that way. I like the taste, sort of like koolaid.
Posted by: Sheri at May 28, 2006 06:14 PMI didn't like the taste at first either, but it tastes awesome in orange juice. Regardless though, I love the way it makes me feel. I have 5 children 4 of whom are under 5! I can finally keep up with them. what I like is that you have amazing energy without the shakes, it doesn't make my heart rate soar, and I don't feel wired!
I've tried a lot of energy/health drinks (Barley Green, Mona Vie,etc.)but this is the only one where I actually felt results, and felt them quickly. I's also taking their product Stack. i'm pleased with them. The great thing about their company. You're not investing any money, so you're not losing any money if it doesn't work. I've tried other home based businesses, but it's hard to tell people about a product that you have no personal testimony for or that you don't believe in. I beleive in this one. So I'm giving samples to everyone!!!
Posted by: Randi at June 8, 2006 03:17 PMThe ACT does not mix well in real cold water. I put it in a sports bottle shake it up real well then add the ice. Works great.
We have a friend that is also into cycling.... spends every week end go some bike tour.... loves ACT... he says it has tremindously increased his endurance. Price is about $1.00 wholesale and $2.00 retail. Hope that helps.
Posted by: Cyndi at June 8, 2006 09:38 PMTry mixing ACT in a bit of hot water. It dissolves quickly, I then add a couple of cubes of ice and add about a cup of cold water and drink! The hot water works like a charm.
Posted by: Cheryl at June 10, 2006 06:56 AMThe first time I tried the drink, I felt it kick in in about 10 mins, I said to myself " Whats in this" I did the research on every ingredient, and its good for you. I like to research everything thats claims is healthy, and I tell you it is! It has vitamins, energy boosting herbs, and fibersol-2 which is the best fiber in the market. This drink even has Green tea. The taste is good, and just knowing how good it is,you cant go wrong! I wish this drink came out sooner. check it out!

I'm about to try the drink, and I am not sponsor of the company, my sister is and she is trying to get me to try it so I will, but beforehand i read through this entire forum, and after seeing how many ACT people posted on here (pathetically) I'm most likely gonna be disappointed. Ill post back in a couple days to give my results.
Posted by: Animus at June 29, 2006 09:47 PMwell since i have posted my last comment, i have had one hour sleep, and i drank i packet of it at 8 am. Taste: it tastes bad, but i came to the realization its kool aid flavor with out sugar, so add some sugar. Energy: well its now close to 2 pm and throughout this time period after drinking it i have felt sleep knocking at my door, but it wasn't over bearing so it seems to help out with the energy. all in all with some "darn" sugar this would work out fine. As far as mixing goes.. put the water in then the powder.
Posted by: Animus at June 30, 2006 12:50 PMWell I recently had the idea to sell my urine as a canned beverage. Of course all you folks out there know that this beverage is called Red Bull. So, try it out because you will love it! Don't be fooled by the exaggerations of these A.C.T. solicitors, the urine extract from T.O. is far inferior to mine. Besides, would you rather drink the urine of an NFL football player or the urine of Chuck Norris? I will leave the decision to you.

In several of the above posts, it is stated that creatine monohydrate is one of the ingredients in A.C.T.;however, I do not see it listed on the packet. Can anyone explain?
Posted by: Joe Chavez at July 14, 2006 08:50 AMI had someone pushing this drink come by and drop the packets off. Unfortunately, the person is burried somewhere in Egypt considering how many pyramid groups she is involved with. What I must say, is that after trying this twice, despite the gritty crap and lousy taste, it does work. I am a soda drinker and have pounded 60+ oz per day. I plan on trying the ACT drink further, but so far, it works. Compared to Rock Star, Red Bull etc, I have a serious rush from this product. My concern is if some of the additives are dangerous to the health of the long-term user. I had a bad run-in with Creatine and my liver some time back... Perhaps I should try snorting it....

I used to have problems mixing the drink. It would not dissolve. Now, I add one scoop to the glass THEN add the water and it mixes up right away. Do not add the powder to the water.

Now i have a mix feeling and can someone honestly tell me how well is this products and wether i should join ??

Someone talked about the Stack product and it sounds too good to be true. The man that told me about it said that it provided the "essential nutrients that the body needed to function at a low caloric content" thus making you "feel full without being full". I don't really get the science behind that. Of course, the salespeople do not have to be educated in the crap they sell--just convincing enough to dupe the retards (i.e. 80% of the population). I'm on to you people..
He also gave me a few samples of the A.C.T. concentrate saying that it is so much better than coffee and energy drinks because it doesn't work through caffeine...but looking at the ingredients, the larger parts of the concentrate are the SAME INGREDIENTS that the bigger energy drings use in thier drinks (guarana--bawls, taurine--most everyone)
Posted by: dubbs at August 18, 2006 01:25 AMYeah so I tried it...and it's pretty terrible tasting. 'Nuff said.
Posted by: dubbs at August 22, 2006 01:40 AMJust got a sample last night and looked at the ingredients. I can't see how they claim this is caffeine free:
Guarana seeds contain more than twice the caffeine as coffee beans.
Green tea is definitely caffeine.
Ginsing is not caffeine, but another stimulant.
ACT is just some sugar(maltodextrin, fructose), some stimulants, and a few amino acids. It tastes OK, but is inconvienient to mix up. Nothing really special or worth the hype.
Posted by: Greg at September 2, 2006 12:13 PMPersonally, I like the taste, as do my family and most of my team members. Those who don't but still like the product mix it with fruit juice.
That diffuses the taste a bit, especially those blended fruit juices such as "tropical fruit juice" from your supermarket.
I've found that ACT dissolves better in water at room temperature than it does in chilled water from the fridge. You do need to stir it for half a minute.
Pre-mixing it in room temperature water in a sports drink bottle then chucking it in the fridge or freezer gets around the mixing problem with warm water.
8 million ACT drinks sold so far.
I am making a full-time living and income out of this business, promoting ACT and the company's other products, so I'm not complaining. Beats trundling off to a job every day. I know this product and the company will make me and some key leaders in my team very wealthy.
7 out of 10 people I hand ACT samples to try it and come back with a positive response. Doesn't take a lot of convincing to get about half of those to buy some more, or buy direct from the company, and I get BV out of it, building my business.
Some people decide to become business builders and work with us, some people don't.
Some people like the taste of ACT and want more. Some don't. Next please, plenty of fish in the ocean.
If you believe you can become a millionaire in this business in your lifetime, you will. If you don't then you probably won't. Either way you're probably right.
Helps if you like the product and believe in it though...
Posted by: Roger Stockburger at September 14, 2006 02:26 PMI lost 15kg in 1 month on Stack and I reckon it's quite a good product, although some people will perceive it as expensive.
I replaced breakfast and dinners with it rather than just taking it with meals, and do brisk 30 minute walks every day.
So from that perspective, I can say Stack has some merit and I certainly recommend it.
Take with with ACT for maximum effect.
One thing I have found to help it mix better, is not to use ice cold water. I know everybody has mentioned cold water. If you don't have time for a blender, then I use room temperature with a spoon and it does not leave any clumps in the bottom. Good idea on adding a little more water to take away the bitterness. For a healthy drink I like it.
Posted by: Act Energy Drinker at September 23, 2006 10:53 AMI have not had the chance to try the product yet. I want to enroll but didn't like that I had to give my social security # out over the net.
I am curious if nursing mothers can use this product? I read somewhere that it contains caffeine. All comments welcome.
I have tried everything I could and spent way to much money.I am in to triathlons and complete fittness. I tried A.C.T ,bottom line it works! Some like it some don't some will some won't.
See for your self www.drinkact.com/triit
Cyndi, I didn't give my SS#, I put my phone number with one number missing. Nursing mothers probably shouldn't drink it. It doesn't contain Caffeine. But, it does contain Guarana. Which is a lot like caffeine. But, I don't have the shakes when I take it like I do with caffeine. I also have a calm feeling which I certainly don't have with caffeine. I make my husband and I a drink in the blender every morning. And, add some Vitalogy to it. He hasn't had a migraine for over a month now. For someone who usually gets them one or two times a week, that's pretty good. I recommend trying ACT. I also take it with water only about 1 or 2pm. It gets me through tell I go to bed. I love the stuff. I tollerate the taste. :o) Cindi or anyone else, if you want more information, click on my name and you can e-mail me.
Posted by: Barb at September 28, 2006 10:35 AMthe aftertaste sucks but i think that i can get used to it. i just took a free sample pack and i feel a little jittery. My man darrell in detroit is an ACT dealer and i think i may try it again, its not that bad. If it is all natural and produces the effects that i fell right now then i think i'll try it again. i must see how it effects my sex drive if it is for the better then i''m sold, if it allows me to go another 4 hours on top of my usual then i'll post it and let let you guys know.
Posted by: dolemite at September 28, 2006 12:00 PMMost people who try A.C.T. after reading how bad it tastes unually start grinning when they taste it and can't understand what the fuss is. Try it the first time in 12 oz. of water and after that mix it to taste. If it's hard to mix in really cold water, let it sit for a few minutes until the water is absorbed into the crystals. It shakes up easy then.
Most everyone who gives their body three days in a row to get used to the power of A.C.T. really loves what it does for them. Many of us knew in the first 10 minutes what it does. I feel like it took 10 years off me and I've had my A.C.T. every day since. I never found an energy product I liked before.
One thing I know; it's spreading fast. These guys have created a simple paid-referral campaign that's working massively. They've sold over 8 million drinks in 15 months, using just the internet and word-of-mouth referrals! That says everything about how A.C.T. works.
I got the free website in January this year and already my referrals have done over $300,000.00 in A.C.T. drinks, and I get daily checks. That's smart marketing. The people who enjoy A.C.T and refer it are the "commercials" for it and everybody gets a free website and referral commissions.
Besides the results of A.C.T., the price really makes a difference. A.C.T. is just a $1.00 a drink! Works in 10 minutes, lasts all day, costs a buck. That's why A.C.T. is very quickly becoming a major brand. Enjoy!

I like the taste of A.C.T. and love the effects of the drink. I am 67 years old and can testify that the product works for me. I feel more alert, and have more energy within minutes after drinking the product. I mix the powder in a shaker bottle with 8 oz. of water then shake for about 10 sec. Also, to my knowledge this is the only "HEALTHY" energy drink on the market.
Posted by: Mike Nolan at October 30, 2006 10:59 AMACT was something I, myself, was extremely skeptical of when my mom and dad in Texas sent me some. Since then, I do notice the follow:
~ No sudden high and following crash
~ A sustained energy that last for hours
~ Ability to focus more (I have ADD)
~ Taste is worth it to me. It's like getting
a shot vaccine, it's just worth it. Sure,
it may hurt (or taste 'odd') at first, but
the energy, clarity, focus and no sudden high
with the dreaded 'crash' make it worth it.
~ I flew to visit my parents here in Dallas,

I didn't like giving my SS# away either. But since people are becoming dealers and most want to make money that is how they track it. You can give a social or a business EIN number. As for the taste I am not sold, but the energy I get from it makes it worth it. I mix a pack in a bottle with about 12 ounces of water. I get up at 4am, drink one as I start working out, and I am good to go. By the way my day doesn't end until 10:30-11pm. Hope this helps. Have a great day!
Posted by: ACT Energy Drink Supporter at November 2, 2006 09:31 PMI gathered by your opening statement that you are against ordinary people making money while its ok for Wal Mart and the arab controlled convenience stores to do so. This alone told me what you were thinking when you wrote the review. What we have is thousands of people with some making a little to help on the budget and some making much more because they have worked harder. I thought this was the American way - the freedom to go for it.
Where would EXXON be if they didnt use employees? Think about it, all businesses that survive have to use the efforts of others to make a profit. One alone can rarely do so.
Dear Dan "energy" man, In my opinion, the A.C.T. Energy Drink is a great "alternative" to almost all of the popular "addictive" choices that the majority of us employ in our efforts to sustain energy levels throughout each day. Also, taste should NOT be the predominant factor when one looks "intelligently" at the greater health risks or dangers lurking behind the most popular and highly adverti$ed (HYPED) products being con$umed. And just because you have set up this forum, it DOES NOT give you license to post any arrogant or profane commentaries on what YOU consider to be abusing or exceeding YOUR content limits. In other words, "consider your own ways" and then get your own "ACT" together if your true intent is to be of help to your readers, rather than taking license to post abusive and profane threats to those who post their opinions and marketing information. And by the way, it DOES TAKE enthusiastic endorsements to promote any new ideas or products. Would you rather that ONLY the Corporate "Pyramid" Giants (IE: WalMart Super Centers) are able to profit by our consumption of just those products purchased through "their" FREE ENTERPRISE SYSTEM? Just what is your true motivation for making this forum available to us? Is it truly to serve the reader's best interests, or do you have something else in mind that we should all be aware of (IE: Phishing)? BE NICE or be quiet............PLEASE.
Posted by: Roy C. at November 5, 2006 03:16 PMBarb you are an idiot. How can you say that it DOES NOT contain caffeine but contains guarana that is like caffeine? That is completely false. Guarana HAS caffeine in it just like thousands of other sources of caffeine.
Just stop conforming to what your pyramid scheme buddies are telling you so sell their product.

I want to know about M2C Global. In addition to all the HYPE, does the costs "outweigh" the results, financially wise, especially if one hasn't much money to start with? Without "Breaking the bank", Please be "Honest!"

Having only been involved with the ACT Energy drink for 3 weeks, I can tell you that for me nothing else compares to this amount of energy. Anything else would probably send me into diabetic shock due to the great amount of sugar and carbs that most other energy drinks have. The enrgy lasts just as long as the company has said that it would, between 6-8 hours. Mixes well, unless your just too lazy to move the spoon or shake up the bottle. Taste great now, but new improved flavor is shipping now. Whatever you do, TRY THIS PROGRAM. This program is at Momentum, which in the home based business industry, means mega income!!

I think this is a healthy alternative to the popular energy drinks that are on the market. If you research the ingredients, you will find that many people are already drinking Green Tea for example, for the health benefits. What's nice, is that there are many of these supplements packaged in a single serving of ACT saving you a lot of expense of having to purchase them individually.
Some people have reported that they don't feel the "boost" of energy after sampling ACT. I like the fact that you don't get the jittery "buzz" as with other energy drinks. I just "feel good" and not tired. It has also helped with my seasonal allergies as well as frequent headaches. This is my own personal experience and not hype to try to convince anyone of how it may or may not effect them. My suggestion is to give it a try for about 5 days straight and decide for yourself. It is best mixed/disolved at regular room temperature bottled water.
M2C Global has a great business model with this and the other products. You have nothing to lose when you accept an offer to get free samples. You also have a rare opportunity to become involved with a company that provides you with one of the greatest home businesses ever offered.
Posted by: crski at November 27, 2006 07:49 PMMy cousin is trying to get me to buy and drink ACT on a regular basis, but I keep saying No. I did try it for her sake (although I just don't like processed drink mixes). It tasted horrible, but not as bad as that semi-poison that my "Quixtar" friend has me taste a couple of years ago(absolutely awful). My regular drinks are water, green tea, and fresh lemonade. My cousin talks about how healthy ACT is, but I can't find on the label how much caffeine it actually has in it. I found this site by searching for the caffeine amount. Do any of you "processed drink" ACT guzzlers know how much caffeine is actually in it? There is a "warning" of only two a day--so it must have a lot--but why no amounts. I'm still not going to put that stuff in my body, but I would like to know about the caffeine amount so that I could tell her--so that she can warn the other people that she convinces that it is a "natural" energy drink. It must be horrible to have to go around and try to convince people that something so processed is actually "natural." I wonder if it was tested on rats?

I just tried some of this ACT stuff 40 mins before I went swimming. Ok, the taste isn't fantastic, but with the addition of more water it tasted better. I tried ACT at a sport show I was working this last weekend. At first, I didnt like the tast but realized it IS an energy drink. After going through several samples, I really started to like the taste. I did sign up for the FREE web account, but mostly to buy product. I figure if I somehow make a buck, well that is just a bonus. I ordered the Stack weightloss product today. If it works as well as ACT,I will be a skinny fella in no time. I really think they have something here.

I can tell you that the weight loss product works just as good as the A.C.T. Energy Drink. I drink the A.C.T. drink every day, sometimes twice a day. I feel it is much better for you than carbonated artificially sweetened drinks. I am also very pleased that they use stevia for sweetening the drink since I already use it at home for homemade drinks like tea or lemonaide. With the weight loss product I lost weight even though I still ate out every day. I lost 4 sizes in my jeans, not bad since I couldn't work out as much as I planned. I even cheated by eating stuff that you would think would inhibit weight loss, but still lost weight. I admit it, I am "addicted" to A.C.T. (not really but that is how much I like it)

Posted by: Sheri at February 12, 2007 09:54 AMI tried a free sample from a friend and am totally addicted to the stuff. I think the taste is much better than, say, Red Bull. And it has vitamins I don't get enuf of from eating. I'm notoriously exhausted and if I have a full drink right away in the morning, I'm good to go until bedtime. As with anything, I guess-some will love it, some will hate it!
Posted by: nikki at March 6, 2007 11:59 AMDAN........ just a quick heads up. In addition to the comment I left before about the changes in A.C.T. , I think you will be very interested in trying the new A.C.T. in 12 ounce cans that is releasing in April. We have already gotten feedback on it and that it works even faster, tastes great and is slightly carbonated.
I would love for you to review both the can and the new packets next month. Contact me to get it sent to you for review for free. Just send me a message through my contact me page on my site.
Posted by: Sheri at March 20, 2007 03:58 PMFirst, I am currently using A.C.T. instead of coffee to see if I still have energy during the day without all the caffeine. I have only used the product for a week. While I don't have a ton of energy, I have not noticed the caffeine withdrawal effects either.
Second, I was approached by a distributor of the product and have a warning for all of you involved in distributing. The sales rep. tried to get me to be a distributor, but with only a few questions, this sales pitch sounds like an illegal pyramid scheme, at least in the State of Ohio. You don't receive compensation for selling the product, but receive "points" for signing others up to distribute the product. These points can be redeemed for money according to the sales rep., however, there are no tax forms or documentation of income. Sounds like a huge problem to me! I don't appreciate being encouraged to join illegal operations, and I would suggest that all distributors check the laws in their state to make sure they are not in violation of any of them before advertising involvement in such a scheme to the public.

Unfortunately whomever you spoke with did not provide you with accurate information. The company indeed reports income via form 1099 and you do provide them with your ss#. They DO pay commission checks in the comp. plan. You didn't have the true facts before posting your comment on here.
Please also be aware that this message board is not provided for business use, only for info about the drink.
Posted by: Sheri Johnson at April 2, 2007 08:45 AMDidn't read all of the comments, however I have found the powder to dissolve quickly and TOTALLY 100% of the time when I mix it with a bottle of water that is NOT refrigerated. This is the way I like to drink it. Some of my friends add ice to it once they have mixed it. We all LOVE this product and are looking forward to its' release in cans!!! I personally like using the pouches so I can control how much of the powder I use in water. I used to be a heavy coffee drinker. I mix one pouch of powder with 12 oz of water and drink that throughout the morning now. I LOVE the taste. And, I don't have the jitters like when I used to drink coffee. I am considered to be a very harsh critic when it comes to any sort of new product like this. This drink tastes like cherry punch, gives healthy energy in under 10 minutes and lasts for hours. I loved it so much that I decided to start pushing it. I hear folks all the time saying they are "addicted" to the energy drinks they are using and they want to quit drinking them---you know, the ones filled with caffeine and sugar!!! I'm glad to have a healthy alternative to offer them. www.drinkact.com/GladysCourvelle
The ACT Drink and Opportunity seem Great to me.
Definately not a "pyramid scheme" but a very legitimate business and product with huge potential. Congratulations to anyone who recognizes this.
Low Sugar content compared to its competitors, exciting compensation plan and huge opportunity with Global Appeal all add up to a winner to me.
Cheers,

Posted by: 2charmed at April 10, 2007 11:11 AMI have been using ACT almost since it was introduced. I don't sell the stuff. The taste was weird at first. I didn't like it. I discovered that mixing with room temperature water and then chilling or adding ice makes a huge differece. Letting it sit for 30 min or more totally changes the taste. The taste is actually more addicting than the feel it gives. Powder form is great - who wants to carry cans around.
They changed the formula a few months back so it tastes better now: Sweeter, less bitter aftertaste, more cherry taste. The problem is that I find that the new formula is just not nearly as effective on me as the old formula. I still can feel tired after taking it, which NEVER happend with the old formula. I'm curious if others have noticed a change in effectiveness? I bought a bunch of the old formula, but when that runs out I may have to look for something else if they don't fix it soon. Am I the only one who notices a change?
The first time I drank ACT, I was awake all night. It was a major energy rush for the first several days, but then I began to feel like an elephant was sitting on my chest. I couldn't get a full breath, and my heart also felt like it was beating out of my chest. Anyone else with this kind of experience? Oh, and regarding the taste: Fruit Punch Gatorade on steroids.
Posted by: Skot at April 28, 2007 07:24 AMWhen I first tasted ACT I didn't like it.
Then I doubled up on the water to 16 ounces
and now love it! Add a little vodka to it
and it tastes like Cherry Sloe Gin!
ACT is great for hangovers too!

I've had the same experience with the NEW formula. The new stuff gives me headaches from my heart pounding. The old stuff never made me feel that way. The new formula has the black & red label and the old stuff has the light blue and white label. If they don't change it back, I'll be looking for a new energy drink when my supply of the old stuff runs out. Are you listening M2C Global?? Change it back!
Hi! i'm 43 y.o. woman. I tried the energy drink and I felt a lot of energy for the rest of the day. The test didn't bother me. I don't have sugar at my food at all. Before I had to drink about 3 cups of coffee every morning and it did not last long. I would like to know a side effect of taking this ACT drink?
Posted by: Keska at May 9, 2007 01:03 PMI would be curious to hear feedback from people who have tried the new A.C.T. Energy Drink in the 12 oz. cans.

I still enjoy the pouches though because I actually add a lot more water to mine so it helps me to drink more water since it tastes good and is good for me.

Earlier this month, a new study found a surprising number of caffeine overdose reports to a Chicago poison control center. These involved young people taking alertness pills such as NoDoz or energy drinks, sometimes mixed with alcohol or other drugs. During three years of reports to the center, the researchers found 265 cases of caffeine abuse. Twelve percent of those required a trip to the hospital. The average age of the caffeine user was 21.
"Young people are taking caffeine to stay awake, or perhaps to get high, and many of them are ending up in the emergency department," said Dr. Danielle McCarthy of Northwestern University, who conducted the study. "Caffeine is a drug and should be treated with caution, as any drug is."

A.C.T. ENERGY DRINK IS NOT CAFFEINE FREE
FACT: IT HAS NO CAFFEINE ANHYDROUS
ALSO COMMONLY CONUSING IS SOME PEOPLE CLAIM IT HAS NO STIMULANTS - ONCE AGAIN THAT IS FALSE AS WELL.
Check the facts on the Company website on the new FAQ page.

Posted by: Soulexchange at June 16, 2007 01:01 PMWe are very choosy about what we drink and offer to our little league, cub scout and girl scout groups.
We have conducted our own taste/benefit analysis of this product and the results have been very impressive indeed. The Berry Flavor is the most popular and the lack of sugar in the product helps the body to burn its own fat for calories (instead of making fat with other high sugar drinks). It is safe for kids, adults and elderly alike; it has nothing harmful in it; it does what it says it will and that is to provide the body with the necessary elements to boost energy and that means it goes into the synapse of the body cells without the jitters often associated with caffeine consumption. The packets are also convenient to have in the car, carry in backpacks, take to school, place in briefcase/laptop case, and tuck in a purse ~ just toss in water you can get almost everywhere and you are ready to go; also of significant importance to us ~ when a product is convbenient and easy to use ~ it will be used more often.
It improves mental alertness and can be consumed more than once per day without any ill effects at bedtime ~ we are particularly interested in this aspect with so many kids using the product safely. We also wish to remind everyone that drinking this or any other energy drink is not a substitute for drinking plenty of plain water which the body must have daily; you need to drink minimum 1/2 your body weight in ounces....ex: if you weigh 120 lbs ~ you need to a drink minimum of 60 ounces daily...and not all at once! Space it out and drink on average 16 ounces (2 glasses) every hour and 15 - 20 minutes prior to eating can reduce your appetite without taking any type of stimulant.
We have been using so much of this product and have recommended it to so many of our friends and family members, we have decided to become a 'distributor' for the purpose of saving $$$ in volume buying.
In summary ~ we highly recommend and give it

Posted by: Steven WS at July 18, 2007 07:35 PMIf you are looking to get a non-caffienated energy drink you should try the A.C.T. CAN version. I have tried the powder packet and I hate it!! I would suggest using half the packet if you do like it or want to try it. I would also try it with sprite or something that is carbonated since most energy drinks I've had do have that carbonated taste. I will say that they need to make the powder packet either half the size so you can put it all in a bottle water so you don't have to pour half the water out or add more water. I think that people now a days are looking for energy fast and if you have to use a blender or need to add water that defeats the point of an energy drink I think. I personally don't want to sit at the blender to make sure I get my quick fix. But I would definately not go powder and go with the can since it's easy to open, casual to drink, and I don't have to worry about dry particle grains on it's way down.
Before I drank ACT, my energy drink of choice was black coffee. I figured it was way healthier than any other energy drink on the market, and I can't stand the flavor of the other energy drinks because they taste like pure sugar. I like ACT because it almost tastes like a sweetened, cold tea, maybe, or an exotic juice. It does not taste like other energy drinks, though. If you like the taste of Red Bull and Monster and Rockstar, you probably won't like ACT, but I could be wrong...it wouldn't be the first time. I like the packets, I shake them in a bottle of water, and they always work fine. I drink a full packet before I work out in the morning, and it gives me an extra boost through my workout, and the rest of the entire day. I should probably quit drinking coffee first thing in the morning if I'm going to drink an ACT...it might be a little bit too much. I've got my mom hooked on it. She only drinks 1/3 a pack, and that's enough for her because she claims she is overly sensitive. But she loves it as well. And my little sister is hooked...she drinks a full packet and it just might be a little too much for her. I've had several people tell me that when they drink the full packet, it is the most energy they've ever experienced. The cans are good too. I prefer the packets because I don't like the carbonation taste. If I forget to drink my ACT in the morning, I notice a difference throughout the rest of my day. It's an energy I really enjoy, and it helps me to keep going up till lights out. I've mixed it with alcohol before, drank the ACT first, and then about an hour later, drank some wine, and that didn't go over well at all. I won't do that again. Everyone is different though. I think this product is great for active people who are into the natural products and health benefits. It's great for anyone, but I think those types of people would really appreciate it. I know that some professional athletes use it and love it...I don't know how much they were paid to say that, but I believe them :)

Yes, I am a new ACT dealer. Yes, I thought there was an aftertaste at first however, theres an after taste to gatorade, diet soda, and lots of things that are "artificially sweetened". You grow accostomed to the taste and won't notice it after a time.(also being chilled helps too) Yes, I agree that if you don't mix it properly you get varied results in taste AND residue. BUT....
all in all ACT is a great product. As several people have stated, the numbers speak louder than any review. I might add as well, louder than sarcasm.

Posted by: Steven WS at October 28, 2007 01:13 AMFor all of you people who think this opportunity is a "pyramid scheme" wake up. Isn't that the way all business' are structured? Think about it, for all of you not the owners of your own business, you go to work making money for someone else. Most likely making minimum wage or not much more. Think of that structure the man/ women at the top, managers, employees. All put together to make the man up top more wealthy. Also in this day and age your lucky to move up, not much to brag about in raises given either. Most jobs don't give you what you are worth. Most people let the man decide your worth no matter how hard or good worker you may think you are. My advice for folks is to wake up, stop letting people program you to think a certain way and keep an open mind.Do your own research and stop letting other folks live your lives for you.
MLM is a structure used in many companies today. You find many business in Forbes Magazine rated very high using this structure and these folks are very wealthy.
I guess in a nutshell also do your own research, don't just assume things. Wotk hard for you and not the man at the top!!
Happy Success to all!!!

Posted by: Charles at November 19, 2007 07:46 PMdude, ive been reading this thing fer like an hour and havent seen many people..thats not a dealer, "success story" (posted by a dealer), or totally fake story that was again, obviously posted by some sort of dealer....that suks..seriously.
ok, to the dealers..lets give you some 1.2.3. reasons :
1. if you think that commenting is another nice word for advertising..you seriously need more time online...not to mention common sense.
2. if you think giving away your information is going to get you anything but prank calls you are seriously mistaken.
3. dealers that believe another success story that can probly be read on an A.C.T. pamphlet or website is a good excuse for a comment...you are also, mistaken.
4. advertising just one time is obviously not enough for you guys...you have to do it over, and over, and over again!...for 2 flippin yearssss! it gets really annoying.
:( shame shame.
*bad rep award*
now, putting aside the reps..and their truly annoying tactics..
the product (powder form btw) i agree the taste kinda suks, but not as much as the aftertaste lol
also that everyone's taste's differ. but i have to admit that the energy is reallyyyy good..with no crashes :)
the can form is really good tho..no after tastes like the powder *yayeah*
i think it gives more energy and tastes better than rockstar or monster (which used to be my favorites) ohh and i dont have that huge crash at the end of the day :).
the first time i tried the can act my friend ashley gave me some she had in her locker because i was compainin bout bein so stressed cuz of tests, and the game i had that night (im in soccer btw) and barely any sleep the night before...so i drank it..and was pretty suprised
it started workin in like 15 or 20 minutes...i had good concentration on my tests..felt energized but not so chaotic...drank another can before the game and needless to say, we won (wahoo*).
but yeah..
my rating on the powder would be an 7 cuz the taste suks but i still got good energy with no crashes :].
and my rating on the can version is a def. 10 cuz i get the energy, concentration, still affordable...and i like the taste a lot better :)

Posted by: Stan at December 19, 2007 12:11 PMHi Dan,
I am not an ACT rep or dealer.I am with another networking group and I was approached by a m2c or what ever the company name was representative.I do use energy drinks because of the nature of the business I am in.I have used many different styles of these drinks from the convience stores and now I had a chance to try ACT.I'm not truly sure on how I feel about this product yet because I have only used it the one time but the rep is supposed to send me more samples to experience.I will tell you my first time using this product was different.I did like the offering price,I did like the energy it gave me(1st time)but I did think it was too sweet. As far as the residue left over, well,I should have shoke harder but there are a lot of products we use that have a left over residue.I would say I felt the effects of this particular drink for about 4 1/2 hours without the after effects of some of the more common drinks.I had no burrping gas which is common among some of the store bought drinks.I would have to say that ACT drink is not really that bad for the money. It would be a smart move to at least try some of this product to evaluate it because I know there are some individuals out there that consume a lot of these styles of drinks.
On a scale of 1 to 10,I would give ACT an 8 for effectiveness,a 6 for taste,and a 9 for price..No body's perfect!
What you have to say about the A.C.T. drink is funny. I was given a couple of packets to try and I thought it not only tasted great but I did not have any chunks or anything else left over. Of course I didn't add mine to straight cold water. As most people know trying to get anything to dissolve in cold water can be difficult, sugar is a good example. Knowing this I added mine to just a little hot water let it dissolve (about 15 seconds) and then added my cold water, guess what it totally dissolved and tasted great. The drink was not in a powdered form either it was in a crystallized form which is far different. What kind of expert energy drink tester are you?

Posted by: Marnie Mowles at January 12, 2008 09:29 AMI have been an avid energy drink buyers for years, ever since the redbull came out. I have never liked the taste of those drinks but have continued to drink them because they are the only ones on the market. They have came out with many ways to try and cover up the "twangy" taste and aftertaste of the products. I do not belive that the ACT product has an aftertaste and I belive that the DAN that is in control of this post probably has another agenda as well, he probably promotes another drink. I am not here to make you want to buy or even try the free sample of ACT but I think his 5 out of 10 rating is way lame. There are so many more levels to rate al of the energy drinks and a simple 1 to 10 scale is small minded. Beer taste really bad but people stil drink it because they get drunk, same as energy drinks, they taste bad but they work and ACT works very well. Maybe not the best but the best for the price.
