hey i've been drinking this for a while now, I would agree i drink 2 cans while doing other stuff but after that i godda switch to beer. to acidy to drink it all night. tastes WAY better then that bud crap.

i used to sneak these into the movie theater cause the can just looks like a typical energy drink. but it has given me a terrible stomeache ache everytime. then 6 mos. later i'd try it again and the same thing...ouch

Hey guys listen up, I am a die hard sparks fan and have been drinking sparks since 2003. I was in san diego, ca and i found this new drink called "Torque", this drink was cheap and has a catchy taste to it. And if you drink theses drinks long enough you have probaly got a stomach ache from time to time, well with Torque i have never had a problem with yet. I am hooked and Torque will be my new drink of choice! I recommend that anybody that loves sparks needs to try "TORQUE"!

Where i live, the sparks and Torque are same price, but i think torque tastes a little funny compared to sparks. Also, the 7% sparks is the best, i'll never go back to the 6.

I would definitely recommend Sparks(the black top) to anyone. The taste is a little funny at first, but I'm hooked now. Got all my homies hooked on them. Shit, I had to limit myself to just weekends because I started drinking the things everyday after work. Drink two and you'll be good to go. I'm good after the first.

I've been drinking Sparks for a couple months now. I am one who does have stomach problems with most coolers. However, Sparks does NOT upset my stomach ever! The first time I bought Sparks, I also bought some Torque. There is a big difference. Torque doesn't pump you up anywhere near as much as Sparks. I'm 100% sold on Sparks. The original, orange top/6%, does taste kind of syrupy/pixie stick like, like some people say. The black top/7% + tastes more like Red Bull and give you a serious buzz and pumped up feeling. The first time I drank Sparks, I had 2 1/2 of the 16oz. cans and it was litteraly like liquid v1agra. My gf is still complaining about that night ;)

I've tried the torque too. It has a different taste, a little more lemon/limey than sparks, pretty good tasting stuff. However, Torque just doesn't provide the kick and buzz that sparks does. There must be so much more cafeine, taurine, gurana, etc. in Sparks. Blacktop Sparks for me for life!

I guess you can say that i am a big fan of the alcohol/energy drink shit. I have had them all and I go thru phases but I will say this Sparks is good and they will always be good but I am on a Torque binge right now and i think i will probaly stay with Torque. So Torque it is for me!

Torque surprised me alot! i like to try different things and so i tryied torque and liquid charge. they were both good, as far as a good taste i like torque even though it was a lil more expensive but hey why not.

if you like sparks...i advise you to try TILT, i live near detroit, michigan and i read here that people have a hard time finding it, i have 5 places around me that are in a mile radius that carry it, but theres all different prices for the same exact thing, the cheapest i found was $1.69....the most expensve ive paid was $2.39.....don't pay more than that, unless you can't find it anywhere...DRINK THE BLACK TOP!!

Every trip I make down to the U-S-and-A I am obsessed with loading up on the stuff... once I plan a trip south, Sparks is one of the top things I look forward to.

To my knowledge, I don't think Sparks is distributed at all in Canada... and I haven't had any luck in finding confirmation or a reason for this. I would presume this must be a legal thing, as I haven't seen any of the other energy/alcohol combos up here either. Anybody have any info / insight into this?

Whatever dude, the thing about TORQUE you dont have to fight the tatse because its fucking smooth unlike other drinks on here. Torque is way better then all of them and if they can get the kick up alil this for sure would be the top player.

I have had the Torque and it is good, a bit different, more citrusy kinda like Mt. Dew. It just didn't give the same effects I get from Sparks. Try the blacktop Sparks. I think it even tastes better than the orange top.

Black tops cool for that extra percent of alcohol but I recommend the blue top (diet). Some can handle it, some can't. It f*cks up your stomach. Some can handle 4 others only 1. It depends on your system I guess.

Too much of anything for me is no good ,but I must admit If I wake up on an empty stomach and drink the "black top" Its like 30 min. of feeling good with 45 min. feeling sour.

YOu gotta do the 7.0% version. Its tastes better cold than warm, absolutely. It has an effect different than other alcohols. It doesnt send you over the edge as quickly as hard booze, but it definitely gives you a buzz like beer, except without the heaviness and the drowziness. its actually a mild drug effect. I heartily approve. It's
fairly sugary so i wouldnt drink several on an empty stomach.

man I've been drinking sparks plus since it came out and before that I was drinking regular sparks since damn near the time it came out. I'm huge sparks junkie and everyone I know is always amazed by how long I've been drinking this stuff and that I virtually always have one with me if going out. or chillin at home. or anything else. lol

But a dark day has come for me because in the last week or so it seems sparks plus had made a major change for the worse. some of you old schoolers probbly remember buying the 6packs. then they cut it down to 4packs. well now they've redesigned the 4pack into a cool little carrying case thing. which is cool. the problem is, they also changed the flavor of the drink. BIG TIME. this is not the same stuff. this stuff taste like SHIT. I can drink a whole can without fighting back the urge to vomit. Its so disgusting.

Both the sparks website and the steel brewing companys website are completely devoid of a feedback or contact us link. which is funny cuz the sparks website has all these 'testimonials' of ppl taht sound a lot like I did 2 weeks ago. Used to love this shit.

So I'm writing a snail mail letter to the company advising them of the grave mistake they've made. I know I won't be alone as soon as the distrubers run out of thier current supply, the new taste will be hitting store shelves near you too. And when it does, I hope you follow me in writing a letter proclaiming our distaste. I miss my sparks all ready :(

Oh shit Nate !!!! I'll be on the lookout for the new Sparks. I bought some a couple weeks ago in the 4-Packs and it was the same good ol' Sparks.

The they screw up the over the top Cafeine/Ginsing/Taurine buzz too ? That's what made Sparks better than all it's competitors. I always figured that it had an insane amout of cafeine in it since Sparks refused to give out the amounts.

Took them 5 days but I just got a reply back from Miller stating "At this time Miller Brewing Company has no plans on changing the recipe or brewing process of any of our products."

I've been trying more of these drinks lately. The Torque tastes good, messes with my stomach. Tilt is a weenie drink and I sware there's hardly any alcohol in it as I can't even get a buzz from it. There's some new stuff called "Liquid Charge" that has a good taste, a little more pinappley tasting and has a similar happy buzz as Sparks but it costs more than Sparks. For me, I'm sold on and sware by Sparks Black Top. I have one every morning to get me going and I sware I'm way more productive. Geez, I love that stuff so much I just spent $89 on a neon Sparks sign on eBay. I've lost count of how many people I've got drinking this stuff now. Sparks should sponser me or something for all my promotion ........ LOL.
