XELR8 energy drink

XELR8
Cost: $? 8 oz
Active ingredients: Caffeine, Ginseng, Ginko Biloba, B6, B12, Quercetin
Rating: 6.75 out of 10

XELR8 is a powdered drink, which means it is on a slightly different scale than drinks like Rockstar. Mainly because powdered drinks are now carbonated, and never fully mix into the water. This powder is a really good taste kind of like a lime aid, I actually really liked the taste and would have to put it high on the scale of powdered energy drinks taste wise. It doesn’t have as much energy as some of the other energy drinks or powdered energy drinks, but it still does OK. I wouldn’t try using this one as a mixer, in fact I never tried this one as a mixer. So if you like lemonade or the taste of lime and want something really easy to carry around give this a shot, also if you don’t like carbonated drinks give this a shot. It is refreshing which I don’t think you can say about most energy drinks, which while good I wouldn’t describe as refreshing. Also this has very low calories if your trying to watch what you eat, some energy drinks because of the sugar have very high calories, this drink has 10, which is great. The only thing I don’t get is the name, it seems every drink finds a way to start with an X now, Xtreme, XELR8, Xcalibur, and Xnnoying.

Also this drink like Go Fast is a local Denver Colorado, drink which is awesome because I live in Denver. Rock on Denver.

Hello Dan,

XELR8 Nutritional Energy Drink costs $2 per 1 individual serving packet / 0.16 oz (4.5g, sold in boxes of 20 for $39.95. This is the members wholesale price. The packet is mixed with 8 ounces of cold water. And you are right, this is one GREAT TASTING and REFRESHING DRINK - it is great with added ice.

XELR8 is actually the name of the company and their branded product line, whereas the product itself is the "Nutritional Energy Drink" part of the XELR8 healthy "EAT DRINK SNACK SYSTEM".

The powdered drink market is really giving the liquid energy drink market a run for their money and is even pulling ahead as many people do prefer the tastes of these much better and the mixabilty which in the past was poor, has greatly been improved with the latest powdered energy drinks such as what we have seen here with XELR8. The powdered energy drinks also have the price advantage coming in a lot cheaper than the ready to drink liquid energy drinks.

I have tried many of the energy drinks and give this XELR8 Energy Drink a big thumbs up. I found the energy from this to be as good as any of the others, I like the taste much better and like the fact the this is really a healthy energy drink.

Back to the name "XELR8" this is a new name for V3S Vitacube Proformance, the same company the mad E-Force which is now branded under XELR8 as XELR8 Hydrate Drink, also another great energy drink.

XELR8 is endorsed by over 350 top professional, olympic and amateur athletes and does go through some of the best industry testing so you know you are getting a good quality product with XELR8.

I hope that helps.

XELR8 Energy Drink is actually the only drink I've every heard of that gives you energy using almost NO caffeine, NO sugar... (so no jitters, no crash)... AND the drink gives you 8 vitamins... AND the antioxidants are equal to 15-20 servings of fresh fruits and vegetables (6,000 ORAC). That's 10 times the antioxidants of other "health" drinks/juices, like Noni or Goji or Go-Go or Xango, etc.... plus with XELR8 Energy Drink, you can make money by being an affiliate-- just link to site online and you can make money when people buy from you.

Hello Dan,

In my previous review in the top post I made mention of the original energy drink from XELR8 which was previously called E-Force which we reviewed on a seperate occassion, the E-Force drink is now called XELR8 Hydrate Drink.

I did like the taste and the mixibilty was pretty good as well, better than most sport electrolyte drink mixes on the market.

Here are some details about the Hydrate Drink:

XELR8 Hydrate Drink is the thirst-quenching sports drink originally developed exclusively for pro athletes. This is the drink Curt Schilling uses on game days to help him on the mound. XELR8 Hydrate Drink delivers hydration before, during and after your most extreme activity.*

XELR8 Hydrate Drink = Electrolytes vs. Sugar.

XELR8 Hydrate Drink is formulated without sugar for maximum hydration and optimum performance. And because electrolytes hydrate so efficiently, XELR8 Hydrate Drink has four of them—double the number of the leading sugary sports drink.* Electrolytes assist the sodium-potassium and magnesium-calcium “water pumps” in your body. Igniting these dynamic duos without sugar allows your body to hydrate with no side affects like bloating or energy crashes. XELR8 Hydrate Drink is mixed in sixteen ounces of water, for some of the healthiest hydration you can put in your body.

Bursting with berry flavor, XELR8 Hydration Drink is so good tasting and so good for you, you can drink it all day, everyday and never worry about the carbs or calories. It’s sugar-free, filled with natural vitamins and minerals, and contains the antioxidant power of seven glasses of orange juice.
* Antioxidants: Vitamin A, C & E

The Xelr8 Energy drink gives me a lasting energy without any of the harsh crashes that I would get from some of the other products that I have tried. I am very impressed that Xelr8 has 350 Pro and Olympic athletes that rely on these products to help them perform at their optimal levels. Finally a company that cares about my health and well being.

To add to Matt's post and add the last piece of the puzzle here since we are covering 2 XELR8 drinks here in this review (XERL8 Energy Drink and XELR8 Hydrate Drink), here is the nutrition label and supplement facts for the XELR8 Energy Drink:

XELR8 Energy Drink Nutrition Label and Supplement Facts

You will notice that this is a great energy drink for fellow athletes since it has only 10 calories unlike some of the other high calorie, loaded with sugar energy drinks. In addition, it only has 2 grams of carbs and 0 sugar - and it still tastes amazing and very refreshing. Perfect as we head into the warmer months around the corner and perfect before, during or after a sport or workout.

This is a warning to those selling and pushing XELR8 I will start deleting posts and sales pitches on my site. This isn't for you to generate sales it is for users to discuss drink and find out new ones worth trying.

I only gave this drink a 6.75 which means I wasn't a huge fan of it, none of my friends were either, so It is really easy for me to tell when people are spamming positive comments because they are brainwashed sales people.

HELP! About 5-10 years ago I knew this store that used to supply Go-Go drinks. (The little cans with different girls on them) Does anyone know where I can get these? Please email me at cwb_whirlybird@hotmail.com and let me know. I need em!

I tried all the XELR8 products, was sold, and got into the business. Actually, my favorite product is NOT the green energy drink but the Red Hydrate drink. It is awesome, tastes better than Gatorade and Powerade, NO SALTY TASTE, and comes in convenient pocket pouches so you can mix it with a bottle of water. AWESOME.

-EDIT (Energy Drink Reviews says this is an assclown trying to sell through my site... LOSER.)

I just love the xelr8 products. I used to drink the xs energy drink as i thought it gave me energy but xelr8 just blows it away. I love the hydrate drink too. My favorite thing to drink is the xelr8 energy drink mixed with the xelr8 hydrate drink. The combination is just perfect.
Why don't you try it.

Dan,

It's been a year now and still lovin' XELR8 Energy Drink. Long Lasting Energy Without The Crash!

Posted by: Robert Attieh at September 17, 2006 02:41 AM

I love the Xelr8 energy drink. I couldn't even down a tab or a sobe no fear gold, with out a headache. I think I took two sips of a no fear gold, and got an instant headache. I was sold with the no sugar fact. My son likes to sneak my drinks, and he doesn't need the sugar. So this does the job for me, and lets me keep up with my 3 year old and 1 year old!

Posted by: Lisa at September 23, 2006 10:07 PM

My 14 year old son loves the XELR8 Energy & Hydrate drinks too. He plays soccer & told me this was a whole new season for him this year. He can play the whole game and really not get tired. It allows him to play to his peak without a drop. He also said the Hydration drink gives him excellent recovery to play just as hard the next day.

Well the energy drink wars are now officially over. The winner the new health drink called “BAZI,” a Chinese word that translates literally as “Eight Characters.” The name is based on the eight super fruits and berries that make up this drink. XELR8, mentioned so many times above with the energy drink, is a phenomenal company. They came out with a new product that blows away the old energy drink...the new product is BAZI. This is taken in one ounce shots and has completely exploded since January 2007. (The stock has already gone up NINE times in the past 60 days.)
This product is sweeping the nation and you WILL hear about it very soon...if you haven't already. I am personally a semi-professional soccer player (actually I WAS a semi-pro and play recreationally now) and coming from a nutritional background...this stuff is simply amazing. Find ALL you need at www.JasonCardamone.com and www.XELR8-BAZI.com. (Or order a sample here -> www.TryBaziSample.com)
