We ended up eloping but I did plan the big wedding outdoors on the water & I chose fuchsia orchids & other tropical like oriental lilies & ginger plus orange dahlias with lots of greenery. The boutonnieres were all going to be fuchsia orchids & I really wanted my bridesmaid dresses in green but they protested so I had to switch that. While the lovely Flower girl dresses are green. But overall I would say anything that screams summer. It's such a great Season. You should have fun with it.

I'd like to share, I use to drink Mona Vie pulse last year 2008, then it got expensive after several months so I stopped. A month ago I got diagnosed with Stage 1 Uterine Cancer and I'm going through hormonal treatment for two months to reverse my precancerous cells. I knew I had to take action so I started working out and started drinking the EMV energy drink in the morning during my workout which gave me the energy to get through the day without jitters. I felt like crap when I was drinking those sugar free Monster and Red Bull drinks. I personally don't think those are good for women. I also started drinking Monavie Active juice, as a cancer patient I need to consume at least 9 daily servings of fruits and veggies in my diet. I know myself that I can't consume that much food everyday so I knew Monavie can help me with this process. I felt good when I was drinking it and I had deeper sleep. Monavie may not be for everyone but the price I'm paying to live a little bit longer and healither is priceless to me...taste for yourself and you be the judge if it's right for you. Good Luck!

I have tried the new Monavie energy drink at first I did not like the taste, I normally take the 2 oz in morning and night of original. I was really amazed after I finished the new energy drink. I had so much energy throughout the day I feel like I had a vitamin b12 shot. I winded up having 2 cans of it yesterday. I think I only need one can. Today I had one can and I am still full of energy and in such a good mood, my allergies are not active.

I have a class from 6-9pm I will post on how my concentration level was.

Well, I have been taking mona vie for a month now, its really taking a chunk out of my pocket, but I love it. I have acid reflux, after taking mova vie for about two weeks it was completly gone. PUYALLUP, WA, October 9, 2007 — The results of recent research surrounding MonaVie Active™, a juice containing açai berries and pulp, as well as other nutrient-rich fruits, will be presented in a session entitled “Antioxidants in Fruits and Vegetables and Improving Human Health” at the 2nd International Symposium on Human Health Effects of Fruits and Vegetables on Wednesday, October 10, 2007, 10:15 a.m. – noon, in the Grand Salon East at the Omni Hotel in Houston, TX. Alexander Schauss, PhD, FACN, will highlight findings of in vitro studies evaluating the antioxidant capacity of MonaVie, as well as in vivo studies to determine antioxidant absorption and bioactivity.

This three-part study examined whether the fruit antioxidants in MonaVie are in a form able to enter into and protect living cells in vitro and also examined the bioavailability of MonaVie and its effect on serum biomarkers of oxidative damage after ingestion. An initial in vitro study was performed to evaluate the antioxidant capacity of MonaVie in a cell-based antioxidant capacity (CAP) assay, as well as using the TEAC assay that found it to be 28,421 µmolTE/L. MonaVie showed a clear dose-dependent antioxidant effect in the CAP assay, indicating that compounds in MonaVie are able to cross the plasma membrane of living cells and subsequently provide significant protection from oxidative damage within the cells.

In the second stage of the study, four ounces of MonaVie was administered to six participants on a single day to identify the time course for antioxidant absorption and bioactivity. Blood samples were collected immediately prior to ingestion and at 30, 60 and 120 minutes post consumption. Evidence of absorption, based on increased antioxidant bioactivity and antioxidant compounds in serum was found in all six subjects. A third randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, cross-over study of 12 healthy adults was then conducted. Participants fasted overnight and a baseline blood sample was drawn. Immediately afterward, four ounces of MonaVie or a placebo was consumed. Blood samples were drawn at one and two hours after ingestion, and CAP and thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) assays were used to evaluate serum antioxidant capacity and serum lipid peroxidation, respectively. Consumption of MonaVie resulted in an increase in the serum antioxidant capacity in 11 of 12 participants within two hours of consumption. Results also found that ingestion of MonaVie resulted in a decrease in serum lipid peroxidation within two hours of consumption in 10 of the 12 study participants, most likely due to the increased serum antioxidant capacity.

One reason why I WONT sell it is because of legal issues. My clients just know I've been taking it and I tell them I like the results for me, but talk to their doctor, and then if they want info on it, to talk to Dennis, (the member who sells it). You are absolutely correct about prescibing anything to my clients, along with diagnosing. Thanks for the advice. By the way, are you from New Zealand?? I think I like your accent.

I am a personal trainer at a local gym. I have been approached mant times about this Mona Vie. I thought it as a scam! I eat clean. I only eat red meat once a week, if that. And fruits and vegtables are part of my diet daily. I was getting sick of hearing about this product. I didnt need any more energy. I felt fine. The only complaint I have is I have cronic neck and back pain that is just part of what I live with and am used to. I get adjustments once a week and go to a massage therapist regularly. I have a client who'm I have been training for over two years that gave me two bottles of MonaVie for my birthday. I was thinking "great, now I have to drink this crap". I was surprised to find it tasted good. That made it tolerable to finish these bottles. He told me to drink two onces in the morn. and two onces in the evening. He would ask me daily, "do you feel anything?" I felt bad, but I would tell him "no". Not until about 10 days in. I noticed a coincidence. My pain wasn't as bad. The next day even better! What is going on? Am I going crazy!? Is this in my head?! I am now on monavie about two months. I realy cant believe I feel so great! Another thing I cant believe is how I lived with the pain so long! My husband is now on it and he has had cronic shoulder pain that has now deminished. I am doing research on why this is working so well for me. I recommend anyone who is dealing with pain to give i a try. Yes its expensive but considering the fact that I was getting 2 adjustments a week, each priced at $40, and a massage every other week, priced at $70. I feels it more than pays for it self. I wont sell it. I want no part of the business part ot it, but I am amazed at what its done for me! I would have NEVER paid money at first, to try it. Thank you Dennis for the free two weeks! Im hooked!

I used to drink XS, Cokes, Coffee, Redbull, and others for energy. Even the little 5 Hour bottles of stuff. I recently went on a program called the 15 Day Turnaround and learned how to eat healthier. Not only have I lost 18 lbs in the the last 4 weeks, but what suprised me was the way my energy shot-up on the third day into the 15 day program. I now go days without an energy booster including coffee because I don't need t.

I'm giving Mona Vie what I call the "90 Day Challenge." I've been on Mona Vie for two weeks now and noticed that I'm more focused and thinking clearer...but I'm not sure if it's the fruit or the good Omega oil in it..as I was taking Omega 3 Joy before and getting the same results. What I have noticed is that my skin feels softer, I've always had no problem sleeping..but I get tired earlier..so I go to bed at 10:30 the way I should instead of at midnight. My eating habits have changed as well...I've always eaten healthy..but I feel more satisfied when I drink Mona Vie so I'm less inclined to snack. To be honest with you...I'm not selling this product...but I'm going to give it 90 days and then I'll report back to you if it was worth it. My husband is on it as well, so far I've noticed that he's alot more calmer and doesn't get agitated as much. It's still early for me...but I want to give it a chance. Even if I don't sell it..if it works...I might continue to drink it.

In the past month, I've gotten accosted by 5 Mon Avie "distributors". A few have gotten into every MLM scam to come down the pike. What is wrong with you people? Get a real job!!

I would never try this product after witnessing what it can do to you. My mother and 3 of my aunts decided to all give it a try. They don't live in the same house so they don't eat the same foods. They all live in the same town. They took if the first day and after taking it they all experianced stomach cramps followed by nausea. Took it again the next day and same exact thing happend except this time it was followed by diarrhea. They thought maybe they had eaten something that was causing those symptoms but after taking again same thing stomach cramps, nausea, diarrhea, and now if it wasn't bad enough vomiting. They weren't able to sleep after taking it the 2nd time for about or 3 days after taking the last dose. They were extremely weak. No energy at all. My mother and one of my aunts were rushed to the hospital. They were severely dehydrated due to they diarrhea and vomiting. Anything that they tried eating was right away thrown up. they were all very ill and Dr. adviced them to stop taking monavie. They were hospitalized for a day and a half. I would say it would only work if you are trying to loose weight all the vomiting, diarrhea, and dehydration. sure help them all loose weight in only six days. Yes I am being sarcastic! So please be ready for pain and a very expensive medical bill if you are going to try it.

I am a MonaVie distributor. I love the juice. I drank it for 6 months before actively working it as a business. I NEVER lead with a business opportunity, always as beneficial for health reasons. Besides getting rid of minor aches and pains, my rosacea has completely cleared. I did the math, it comes out to between $3-4 a day to drink the juice - I can't buy the fruit for that price nor could I find it in the purest form which MonaVie provides. I've been reading posts on this site and am amazed how ignorant people are - have you ever read what a Pyramid is? Do you know it's against the law? Have you ever looked at any company organizational chart? Looks pretty much the same to me. Have you ever worked at a company where you could make more money than your boss? Certainly there are slimy distributors out there looking only for the quick get rich scenario, but everyone in my organization is in it for the juice and what it's done for them. Warren Buffet owns Pampered Chef, Donald Trump has published a book praising the MLM business. Please make informed decisions, and INFORMED is the key word.

I am not sure why I have been drawn in by such drama. We have a good product here. Bottom line. Are any of the other manufacturers or warehouses such as Walmart, Sams club ect. paying us to shop there? I am taking this product and have become a distributor. Mostly because I don't eat as healthy as I should and My carpel tunnel was severe enough I could not bowl my last four weeks. In one months time my husbands pain from his back and neck has subsided. NO,I have no medical records showing my level of pain nor my husbands. I also can now go right to sleep and wake up six hrs later so refresed with energy for the day. I have much better mental clearity.
To the owner of the site. You may not be getting a lot of differnt peoples response because they dont want to be criticised for there typing grammer or to be bashed. I belive at one time this site was intended for a good purpose. When I make money selling a product I belive in. So be It. DO I get money shopping anywhere? My personal story about Mona Vie:
I have had neck, back and misc. joint pain since I was a gymnast in college and fell on my head. Ten years ago I had to retire from my job as a firefighter because of a herniated disk and nerve damage. I always just lived with the pain.
I have never found anything that would help. A friend gave me a bottle of Mona Vie Active (with glucosamine)to try. I was very skeptical. Before going to bed one night, my left finger and toe were killing me. A tooth was also hurting. I took one ounce of Mona Vie. In about fifteen minutes, I noticed that my finger and toe were not hurting any more. They have not hurt since. My neck and back pain have almost gone away after a week, taking one ounce in the am and one ounce in the pm. I sleep great and wake up refreshed. I have tried glucosamine pills before with little effect.
If you have pain, get one bottle and try it. See if it works for you.
P.S. I am not a distributor and do not want to be one. I enrolled to buy for myself at wholesale prices because it is a bit expensive.

Mona vie might be a healthy drink, but I seriously doubt that it cures arthritis, cancer, diabetes, fibromyalgia, heart disease, acne, and whatever else. Anytime you hear of a "miracle cure" that will cure "anything," you have say "hmmm..." However, if anyone can prove me wrong, and convince me that it will cure my fibromyalgia, arthritis, high blood pressure, Raynauds, Sjogrens, sinus problems, depression, anxiety, cold feet, nail biting, dry skin, chemical sensitivities, fatigue, allergies, migraines, and all my phobias, including the mlm phobia I developed after 5 yrs in Amway, please let me know. If it can do all that I will gladly pay the $140 a month. Also, I wonder if any of you who rave about the juice are NOT involved in the business or have any financial interest or otherwise potential of gain by promoting it. I mean, if I were a distributor I would have good things to say about it too. In fact, I did that with amway, and I really believed what I was saying. But I finally realized I was trying to convince myself as well as other people. Mona Vie isn't too expensive if the benefits are that remarkable. But of course it's not going to cure everyone of whatever they might have. Let's be real.

I've just been introduced to Mona-Vie, and I'm going to try it.It sounds promising. I'm a diabetic also suffer from arthritis so does my mother who is a diabetic and can hardly walk without a walking stick. I have aquired a bottle for myself as well as my mother. The proof is the pudding. Faith is also essential. I believe! I'm glad that there are alternatives to choose from. I'd much rather try something like Mona-Vie than to take medicines. They all have side affect's and some of them are scary even life threatning.

I just love reading all the comments so I thought I would add my own. I am not a distributor and not interested in being one. My neighbors friend got us to try Monavie, he kept giving us cases. My husband was the one who really was drinking it. The first instant cure was a patch of eczema on his hand he has had for 20+ years, it was gone after the first week. The second thing was his shoulders hurt so bad he couldn't lift his arm above his head with out being in pain. After about 6 months it was gone. He is a type 2 diabetic and has heart disease. His latest numbers were the best ever. I have always been a health nut and have been taking opc3 etc. for years and could never get my husband to do the same but he will take his Monavie everyday. Understand he is not the type to watch what he eats that's why he has the health problems, so if he will take Monavie instead of eating his veggie's and fruits, that's good with me. So not everyone will experience the same benefits as others, it is still a good product, expensive yes, that's the MLM part I don't like. So Monavie is not a scam, just really good juice that has lots of health benefits for those who don't get what they need in their diet. Back to the basic Food by God.

I'm not a distributor, but I do drink the Monavie. It works for me. To all of you people being negative about it: why are you putting something down that didn't work for you, personally. Maybe it just didn't work for YOU. Everyone is different. Tylenol doesn't work for me when I have headaches, but it works for my brother. Just because Tylenol doesn't work for me doesn't mean that I'm going to bash the way that it's sold: through pharmacies that "just want to make a profit". People sometimes buy their home from a real estate agent/broker that processes their paperwork corruptly, but that doesn't mean that real estate is bad. Why don't all of you negative people direct your complaints toward the US government? The US government deserves your negative attention right now since they're having their elections soon and are doing such a terrible job. Did you forget that our freedom isn't free? After 4 days the back & shoulder pain I have woken up with every night for ten years was gone. 40% of the people I hand a bottle to experience some major change the 1st week, like relief from joint, neck & back pain, arthritic pain, cholesterol & blood pressure levels going way down, and even losing weight. I got into the MV business for the money but after the first month of drinking this juice, my lymph glands swelled and I got a nasty taste running down the back of my throat. Two days in the month, I felt like I had the flu even though I didn't catch anything and stayed home from work feeling real yucky is the best word. But then it was over. I started drinking it in May of '07. I had a mammogram to monitor several cysts in my breast that February, '07. by July when I did a self exam all the fluid filled cysts were undetectable. I believe my body finally was able to detox. seeing that my mother's sister died of breast cancer just 5 years older than me. this may have done me more good than I will ever know. I have been to a few of monavie's tastings and meetings, I have even helped host a tasting and now am involved with the company. "Scam" I think not. Does everyone have different results due to the fact that everyones bodies react differently, DEFINATLY. I am a fairly healthy individual and have seen the almost immediate benefit in experiencing better sleep. My mom has been on it for about 2 weeks and her aches and pains due to post-menopausal lack of calcium have subsided a bit, not completely...I am hoping that the more of this product she consumes the better her health will be. I wouldn't "scam" my mother, I introduced her to the product in hopes that she will have some benefits and so far she is seeing some good results. My Family member was on auto ship and it was 138.00 per case of 4 bottles each month. Bobby u must be todd cuz u change the subject just like him. Somebody has given you bad info. Mona Vie can be purchased for as little as 20 something per bottle. Less than most bottles of good wine. Thankfully I do not have a wine habit and prefer to spend my 20 something on a bottle of super juice. I have heard of people spending that much daily on wine. I only spend this amount about every 12 days as I only consume about 2 ounces a day. A two ounce cocktail averages about 3-5 dollars in most lounges around here and the average customer consumes about 3 per day according to the stats., not to mention all that excess sugar that often leads to diabetes and or cancer and the alcohol to possible liver failure! I guess like Todd said "we all make our choices." I guess if I choose to drink Mona Vie rather than alcohol, I will save a lot of money and have better health.

Now if you want to compare it with a juice of equal value, I am with absolute certainty sure a comparable product would cost about the same price. If Mona Vie were less expensive would you be drinking it? Charlie made mention of a better quality product but has yet to devulge the info on it. Maybe you could encourage him and then we would have something to compare to Mona Vie. It took me almost an hour to read the entire post and I have to share what I have experienced. I have been taking Mona Vie for 4 weeks now, and this is what I found. TASTE: I don't love the taste, but it is palatable. Just a tart fruit juice with some fine pulp. COST: I work with a Distributor and it is closer to $30 a bottle. COMPARISON: I have tried "Sambozan" and two other fruit juice drinks available at Giant Super centers in Pa. The cost is comparable per oz. and the taste is no better. EFFECTS: I have noticed an improvement in energy, bodily functions, and awareness. I play competitive men's soccer 2-3 times a week, and also lift. Soccer games are 45min halves and I play the whole time. I have noticed my body heals more rapidly, and I am not as sore on Monday or Wednesday following my games. I have also noticed that upon waking in the morning, when I open my eyes, I am awake, not groggy. BUSINESS ASPECTS: Like some of the other people on this post I am anti-MLM and have been my whole life. The person who told me about the business here is a financial consultant and fairly well off. I am not going to hijack anyone into this, but if they try the juice, like it's affects, and want to pursue something, I will encourage it. What a HIGH SPIRITED BLOG! Both pro and con comments are very interesting however, a few of you have an odd way of trying to express your opinions. Verbal abuse and foul language are a big turnoff and those of you using it will not gain the favor of the ones you are trying to impress. Perhaps it is all about your own self gratification. Todd, how do you do it? Self control and patience is one thing but, the abuse you endure is immeasurable. I wish you the best and thank you for defending an honest product that is actually giving a lot of people hope.

Do you think MonaVie is a higher risk investment than real estate? I have heard more people are benefiting from MonaVie both physically and financially, than those who are being destroyed by the current real estate market. Something tells me the mortgage company top dogs are'nt too worried about their paychecks shrinking. Would it be fair to say that all forms of business are in a sense MLM's? Do you know of any US companies that pay each and every person within their organization the same exact amount. The way I see it is, if you can out perform the others within the MonaVie organization, you have a better chance of making more money than them. Do you make more than your boss Charlie? If not, must you wait to climb that ladder or are you going to wait for him to fall off of it? What would you think if I told you there are thousands of people whose income from their former employment has been replaced by their MonaVie income and they no longer are waiting at the bottom of the ladder waiting for the big fall? How long are you going to be waiting? MonaVie has done for me what no boss of mine ever has. MonaVie has given me FREEDOM from the wait for the ladder to fall syndrome!!!

I do NOT sell Mona Vie, just drink it. How I started on it:

I had been ill - felt like a low-level respiratory thing of some sort - for about three months. Just couldn't "shake it" no matter what I did or how many daily vitamis I took. Also, I'd developed a chronic insomnia problem so bad that I needed to take 60 mg. of Restoril at night to get a night's sleep. Additionally, I've got crappy knees and a touch of arthritis. Finally - I had a "habit" of drinking a ton of Starbucks daiy, with my alternate drink being Diet Coke.

On one of my many weekend trips down to SW Florida I visited a couple of friends who happened to sell Mona Vie, While at their home they offered to let me try a drink of it while warning me that a) not everyone likes the taste - some people actually HATE it, they said, and b) it might initially have a laxative effect due to its relatively high (for a fruit juice anyway) fiber content. They also filled me in on all of the marketing info - I didn't "buy" ANY of the mumbo-jumbo, thought it was all a bunch of b.s. I have to admit that they *did* also tell me "not everyone experiences positive effects from it" and that it has a lot of "pulp" in it. Oh yeah - snake oil at its best, I figured, but at least not harmful.

Anyway, seeing as I need to maintain a proper soluable fiber level in my diet anyway in order to help prevent a flare-up of my diverticultis again (I'd been having to take this synthetic Miralax crap twice a day for God knows how long anyway), I decided to try it while at their place. I LOVED the flavor - it's significantly TART, but I love somewhat tart juices to begin with. I tried one of their Travel Gel packs and that tasted good to me too. So I ordered autoshipment of a monthly case of the Mona Vie Active. And as I do a lot of traveling I also ordered the Travel Gel packs. I didn't believe ONE WORD of all of the hype or marketing crap, but I figured the worst-case scenario was that I'd just ordered the world's most expensive fruit juice and I could cancel if it turned out to just be no more than that.

For the next month I continued to feel crappy, still couldn't get rid of whatever "bug" I had. Then one day at work that first shipment finally came in. So I immediately downed 4 of those travel gel packs. BY THAT SAME NIGHT I noticed I felt better. The next day I started downing 2 oz. of the liquid Active in the mornings and another 2 oz. in the evenings.

RESULTS?

Within 3 days whatever "bug" I'd had for the past 4 months was GONE and I no longer required the Restoril to sleep at night!!! I still have a ton of the Restoril crap sitting in an old prescription vial somewhere, I think it's in my travel bag - haven't needed even ONE capsule since then!

Within two months the knee pain I'd have climbing up stairs at work subsided to a NOTICEABLE degree, and ALL HIP pain has been COMPLETELY eliminated! This is important to me, because I am unable to take ANY COX-2 inhibitors (e.g. ibuprofen, Celebrex, Mobic, etc.) as they cause me potentially life-threatening gastric bleeding.

My need for daily use of Miralax has since dropped down to almost nothing, and my coffee consumption has likewise dropped. Note that NEITHER of these decreases was a "conscious decision" on my part, they weren't - just seemed like some sort of natural consequence, like my no longer feeling the need to take Restoril at night.

I have ABSOLUTELY NO explanation for any of this. I was - and to at least some extent still am - as skeptical as you can get. But the stuff HAS been helpful to ME, exactly as I've described. So to this day I'm still on a case a month autoship.

Should anyone buy it? TRY it! If you like the taste, can handle its tart flavor, don't mind seeing all manner of strange looking greyish-green crap floating in your drink (I just pray its vegetable or fruit and not animal or fungul LOL!!!), and are willing to shell out the $125 to $165 or whatever it is for that first month's case then why not give it a try? Will it cure cancer? No. Might it help correct a nutritional deficiency? Quite possibly yes. Will it help improve a sleeping problem? Quite possibly yes. Will it help cut down on your Starbucks habit? Maybe. Will it help improve your "regularity"? Yes, and let's face it - most of us 50 on up can use all of the fiber we can get anyway! Worst case - it might aggravate your reflux, especially at night, reminding you to go back to taking that little purple pill that your doctor said you need to take every day ANYWAY...

MonaVie can be a great experience for anybody. Like any business, ethical conduct is necessary for the business to thrive. The MonaVie business must be run with integrity at the distributor level and the corporate level.

Here is a simple formula to succeed in your MonaVie business.

1.Schedule weekly juice tastings on the same day, at the same location, and at the same time so folks know where to go and where to recommend other folks go for information.
2.The content of the juice tastings must accurate and ethical.
a.Cover your story and how you were introduced to the product
b.Cover the Acai berry and the blend of fruits
c.Share some chilled juice with your audience
d.Cover the business (not just the comp plan)
e.Q & A
3.Provide information and guidance. Allow each adult to go through their own decision making process. Everyone does things differently and you need to show some respect.
4.Let the product do the selling and simply provide accurate and ethical information.

Ok, haven't been here in a while but wanted to reiterate a few things, some of which have nothing to do with Monavie as a product, despite the fact that I don't care for it and would never drink it myself. I own my own health food store and a former customer of mine wanted me to sell it in my store and so he gave me some bottles for free. I drank two bottles and all it did was give me the runs. My customer was pissed but there was no way I'd sell that in my store after my experience.

But one huge reason I could never sell the stuff is the fact that some major scam artists are representing the company. Aside from Brig Hart, there is Onyx Coale and her slimy husband Robert Addie. See, I used to live in south Florida. I was a real estate investor for years and finally sold all my properties four years ago, retired, and moved back to my hometown of Chicago, where my wife and I decided to do what we always wanted to do - open up our own health food store. My wife is a nutritionist and gives counseling there to those who need it. We truly love what we do.

But while living in South Florida for all those years, I came to see that aside from the state of Utah, Florida is a breeding ground for scam artists (Todd Gabel, anyone?).

Onyx Coale and her husband have, or had, a company called "Real Estate Mastery". For a fee of $6000,
they claimed they would provide a "lifetime" of real estate consulting services and that you would become rich in no time. A friend of mine came to me asking if she should join this 'exclusive" club, though she really couldn't afford to at the time. I told her I could show her how to invest for free - I owned several apartment buildings, duplexes, condos, and private homes at the time. But she wouldn't listen and joined anyway. They convinced her to buy a property they themselves owned and were trying to sell at a huge profit - they made over $100K after owning the property for two years, at my friend's expense. It was worth much less than they sold it for. Now the market is in a downturn and she's hemmorhaging money trying to keep up with it - the property is in a bad neighborhood with low rents and sky high taxes.

Meanwhile, Rob and Onyx started to slowly move away from real estate and one day, about two years ago, my friend gets an email from them about "an unbelievable business opportunity". Turns out it was Monavie. Onyx and Rob got in very early, recruited a good deal of the members of their "exclusive" real estate club, and became black diamonds. They did it in an underhanded manner. And what's more, they are currently being investigated by the Florida attorney general for fraud.

Wonder why you almost never read anything negative about them on the internet? Go to www.defendmyname.com. They subscribe to the service.

So in short, I wouldn't care if Monavie made me poop diamonds. Aside from that I sure as heck don't need the money. But more importantly, my conscience is clear. I just want all you distributors to ask yourselves if you feel good about being involved with a company that has such unscrupulous people at the top. If the answer is yes, then what type of person does that make you?

I closed my Hawaiian coffee/juice shop after 4 years...and we used to sell acai in a form of a smoothie or bowl. I never really got the energy boost that it claimed to have...but I think that is because we were told to mix apple juice with it...and that has a lot of sugar. So you can say I probably had a burst of energy..but not sustainable energy. In any case I lost my wholesale license to purchase that, so I had to find other alternatives. I found Mona Vie...and have been taking this for a couple of months. Having 2 young kids and working full time as a Military Job Specialist I need every ounce of energy I can get. I also noticed myself drinking less and less of caffeinated drinks. I still drink my one cup of 100% Kona every day...but I think that is out of habit. In any case...in comparison to other "energy" drinks out there like red bull...not only does this have energy but it also fulfills your 3-5 servings of fruits and vegetables in just a couple of Mona Vie ounces a day. The taste is great...it actually makes you crave fresh stuff....and stay away from bad stuff. I've lost my pounds from this too...which is another benefit. Hello to all. This post is really large and it took a long time to read all of your comments. All the good and the bad are on here. Let me start off by saying that I am a MonaVie distributor and have been since May of 2007. I have experienced so many good things and stories I can't count them all. I have heard the every now and again "I did'nt feel anything". All I can say to those people is up your dosage! LOL Alot of people are in good shape physically and sometimes will not "feel" it right away. In fact it might be gradual and come on so slowly that they just don't realize it. Me personally, I felt a big difference the 1st week and have been feeling really good ever since. One thing I would like to make perfectly clear is all the people calling it a "pyramid scam". If anyone has ever seen how a "pyramid" works than you should know that all the people on the bottom are working for the one man on the top. I work for a pyramid at my job daily! I work for a car dealership and the owner of the dealership will not allow me to make more money that he does! This is the basis for any "pyramid". In MonaVie, The people below me, or anyone else can easily surpass the persons that sign them up and their "upline" helps them suceed in doing so. So it can't be a pyramid. Its impossible. That being said, I know without a shadow of doubt that MonaVie isnt a scam! Plus the carity of the M.O.R.E. project helping the needy in Brazil. For those who don't know please read about it and you will know MonaVie has a huge heart and is doing something to help out planet and its people. After all that is why I do MonaVie. While Mona Vie continues to urge its members not to make product claims, it is hard for people to be quiet about it when something really helps them. I believe that the reason Mona Vie has been able to help so many people is the way it is processed. They have put a lot of research and continue to put a lot of money into processing the berries in a way to preserve their nutritional benefits. Most other companies don't do this, and thus their products are cheaper, but much of the nutritional value is lost by the time it reaches the shelf.

In the UK, we can buy non-concentrate juices from most supermarkets. Either branded (e.g. Innocent)or own brand (e.g.Tesco) are available at around £3 or $6 for a litre. They don't claim anything. The knowledge of superfood groups is well known here and people chose to buy as they see fit as it costs more than other fruit juices and smoothies. The ingredients are public and seem to be similar. I have been asked to get involved with Mona Vie and am currently trying to weigh up the options. Some views on this blog are extreme and I find this immature and somewhat embarrasing.

I read half this page and everyone who gives this Monavie a thumbs down anr really blind to the fact that "MONAVIE IS NOT A ENERGY DRINK". It should not even be on this review and tested as an energy drink. It is a health food that replaces the nutrients in your body that have been lost by you drinking coffee, sodas, smoking and drinking energy drinks etc. Just because you drink half a bottle or a whole bottle in one gulp does not mean you will get an energy rush. The only rush you will get is to rush to the toilet. IT WILL DETOX YOUr BODY IN TIME, maybe after 2 - 3 bottles. It is known to help people after 1 bottle as it has done for me. I am a poster child of what Monavie can benifit to ones health. I don't care if anyone drinks it or slams it. I know I will continue taking it for life.

This is a society that spends $4.oo plus for for a cup of coffee that actual costs only 25 cents to make.

We have CEO's making million dollar bonuses while slowly running the company into the ground leaving employees with no retirement.

Pharmaceutical companies using natuaral ingredients you can grow in your backyard are charging your grandparents $80 a bottle.

I have tried it, I love the juice. Products have to be distributed. Why not get a share in the delivery and marketing?

Not everyone in every business gets rich. In fact a very small percent actual stays above the median income level. Most of us could live healthier on the other hand.

Rob - The reason why Mona Vie works is because the ingredients (the fruits - esp. acai) are processed in a way to preserve their nutritional benefits. It is a lot more expensive to make juice that way - but Mona Vie is all about giving you a product that is the highest quality possible. Other acai products are processed in less expensive ways and have lost their nutritional value by the time they get to you. That is why you can't get the same effect from them.

In regards to your increased "vitality", please drink responsibly. :)

I bought a case of mona vie active on ebay after reading about it in fortune magazine, after reading that an 80 something year old CEO or former CEO of a company was touting the product.

I am in good general health and don't have any physical problems to report. I drink about 2 ounces of mona vie active every morning mixed with about 12 oz of water. Mona vie juice tastes pretty bad to me, and watering it down makes it drinkable. I am a heavy coffee drinker in the mornings, and mona vie active ALMOST completely replaces coffee. Not quite though. I have a feeling of increased circulation, blood circulation or something. I'm honestly not sure what it is. I have had an increase in sexual yearning and increased sexual performance. No BS!

I went to whole foods and bought 100% acia juice and mixed it with water and blueberry juice i got there too, but i dont get the same feeling i do with mona vie. I'm wondering what in the blend could cause me to feel what I do. The ingredients only show juices. I went back to the mona vie active again and plan to stay with it. Can anyone give me any insight to what is in the mova vie blend that I couldnt just mix in with other fruit juices.

Again, I AM NOT INVOLVED WITH MOVA VIE. I am a consumer.

Pretty certain you, like others, are just another one-timer and we won't be hearing from you again anytime soon. Surprise us and let us know what the ORAC and any other values your favorite juice might possess??? I am open-minded and might be willing to give it a try. I do mix Aloe juice in my MV smoothies but, I have never heard about Moringa before. Looked it up but did not find much validated research on it. Please inform us of it's special values as perhaps MonaVie might want to consider adding it to their blend.

Okay...so I cant believe I actually wasted over an hour reading the garbage in this post. It started out interesting and somewhat informative, but then continued on for pages as a testosterone driven d*ck-waiving contest between Charlie, Enzo, Samiam, and Todd aka Capncrunch. I'm just someone who was trying to get more informed on Mona vie, NOT AS A BUSINESS...as a product. I enjoy my job and have more than enough to provide for my family so I have no interest in Mona vie's business opp, nor will I ever have one. BUT, a very dear friend of mine HAS become involved with the company as a distributor..more power to her..not for me. She gave (as a gift from a compassionate friend) me a case of Mona vie for my father who, at age 68, has been having a bad year medically. He is overweight and thus has pain in his joints and back, he has been diagnosed with sleep apnea (sp.?), parathyroid cancer, high cholesterol, chronic high-blood pressure, and he had a recent accident during a hunting trip which left his leg broken in two places. Recovery has been slow for his leg, and he has had cellulitis 4 times in 6 months. His leg has handicapped him, thus curbing his ability to get needed exercise to assist him in resolving the other health issues he has.

All I have to say is this...I will never be a distributor of Mona vie...neither will my family members...we just dont do MLM, we are all educated professionals with great jobs...that being said...we WILL continue to purchase Mona vie from my friend at her wholesale price. My father (after 3 weeks of drinking Mona vie) has no more joint or back pain, has no more swelling in his leg that is still recovering from the break, has been sleeping THROUGH THE NIGHT unassisted by medication or his oxygen mask, and has normal blood pressure levels for the first time in 5 years. our family doctor has taken my father off of 7 of the 12 prescription medications he has been on for a year now, and has lowered the dosage on one other. My dad feels great, and that makes me happy.

I dont know that this product would help everyone with any of the problems he has, but what it's done so far is good enough for me! I dont really care if Mona vie helps the rain forest, I dont generally try products because of their charitable donations to causes. I'm sure there are people getting wealthy on Mona vie, people just scraping by in their business in Mona vie, and people who are quitting and being unsuccessful in their business with Mona vie, but I dont care about that either. I'm just glad it helps my dad.

I WOULD however be interested in receiving $10,000.00. So whoever offered it up for proof of results, I actually have the daily testing results for my father over the course of 3 weeks. You see, my mother is a nurse, and my uncle is our family physician. Actually, in my immediate family (aunts, uncles, parents and siblings) there are 9 nurses, a pathologist, a pediatric cardiologist, an internist, a cardiologist, an occupational therapist, a physical therapist and a general practitioner. I am truly sorry to hear about your grandmothers poor health and misfortune. Perhaps there was a lack of good communication between your grandmother, uncle and perhaps even her doctor. Did you say your grandmother is very old and sick? It is quite possible that due to her age and especially her already poor condition, her body was reacting to all the good nutrition. Sometimes when your bodies nutritional needs have been neglected and then it posioned with toxic medications, it is quite possible to have what may seem like a negative reaction at first. It is quite possible your grandmother's reaction was not in fact negative but, perhaps it was actually positive as it was attempting to rid itself of toxins which have built up in her system.
I have known several people not unlike your grandmother who have had the same experience however, I did explain to them the aformentioned and, they unlike your grandmother were told by their physicians to continue use and are now getting healthy and spending less money on meds. I truly do not personally know too many good doctors going around advising their patients to not eat fruit or drink fruit juice!!! So it has been stated by many reps. in the past and, as I am sure will hold true in the future; "Each and every body on this earth is different and therefore will respond differently to juice and/ or fruit". My personal past experience has probably been similar to that of your grandmothers. There have been times in my life when fruit was not available and, when I was once again able to consume some, "WATCH OUT" because if you are in the bathroom you are about to receive some unwanted company!!! WOW, no better or faster way to expel some bodily toxins... My granfather ate 3 prunes every single morning of his life and I do not recall him ever telling me his doctor suggest he not do so. He lived to be a healthy 85 years old!!!
As for your uncle, he might burn in Hell if in fact he made your grandmother a promise to buy any unused juice back and then reneged on the deal. Perhaps you should ask your grandmother what their deal was. If your uncle was being unscrupulous, he is not representative of all MonaVie reps. As I have said before, like any business ie; car sales, land sales, house sales, tree trimming, home repairs, improprieties take place and if someone thinks MonaVie is a get rich scheme and their motives are improper, they will be discovered. When they are, GOOD RIDDANCE!!!
I always give anyone interested in the juice a bottle at first, then if they do not like it, they return the unused portion or if they prefer to buy a bottle and take the risk, their choice. Perhaps the latter would have been a better agreement between your uncle and grandmother. I really do not think your uncle will be burning in HELL as I am certain he loves your grandmother and only had good intentions as is the case with most MV reps I have met. However, if he had bad motives, I am also certain your family will shun him, and he will never be given another opportunity to take advantage of your grandma. You might also check with your local law officials as there are laws that protect the elderly against fraud. If they cannot assist you I would suggest civil court, they will summons your uncle to court and be certain that your grandmother is made whole if in fact she was duped by your uncle. Perhaps you can post your uncles name and email or phone number so I can contact him on your grandmothers behalf and/or to protect the rest of the world from his alledged thievery??? I hope the time I have taken will assist you and your granmother. When you catch up to your uncle, please give him one for me if you discover your assumptions to be true...

the reason for all the questions on here is that my uncle got my grandmother who is very old and sick buy 4 cases and she started to get sick after the first day and her doctor told her not to drink it and now she cant return any of it. are all the people selling this stuff like this. i met this uncle only one time and he does not help my grandmother at all. he just popped up selling juice. why would someone do this to a 92 year old. he told her it would make her get better cuz she has alot of things wrong with her and told her she would not have to take all her expensive medicines. is there a way i can get some of her money back. my uncle will not call us back. i sent an email to the company but i am getting worried that she will be stuck with it

Shouldn’t you know the back ground of your circus leader? He was the VP of each!! The FTC filed suit against them, one was shut down by the FDA. Also in regards to the newest Lawsuit; Look it up your self, U.S. District Court of Utah. Call them direct and ask for assistance on how you can obtain those records. You don't have to be an attorney to gain access to public documents/information. FYI, There is no such thing a minimum fee when it comes to lawsuits or courts.

Need I remind you that this is a public forum where one expresses their opinion! Neither the host nor the individual posting could be sued for freely expressing their opinion, as they do not fall in the category of defamatory statements. However, making false medical claims in regards to your juice is not only supposedly discouraged by corporate, it’s against FDA regulations. You should know the answer to the following questions as you should now be an expert on APPLE production, harvesting, juice'n and distribution.

How much fertilizer, herbicide, fungicide and/or pesticide did they apply to that apple orchard throughout the course of their growing season or are they ORGANIC?

How much juice can be produced from one (1) apple and at what cost?

If their apples are CERTIFIED ORGANIC, what would be the cost (retail or wholesale) for 25.35 fluid ounces of pure ORGANIC juice vs. WILD GROWN if even available(no water added)?

How much for the addition of GLUCOSAMINE HYDROCHORIDE, CELADRIN & 18 other perfect WILD GROWN and/or ORGANICALLY GROWN FRUITS?

How many endangered WILD AMERICAN and/or IMPORTED BEES became collateral damage as a result of their use of the aforementioned TOXINS? Will there BEE enough BEES to pollinate their crops next year??? BZZZZZZZ!!!

Go to a local juice manufacturer and do your own research. I know for a FACT that it cost less than $3.00 to produce and bottle juice! A gallon at that! Just spent two weekends at the National Apple Harvest (volunteer for the KIDS - American Kids!). Think about it Todd!! If you can get it for $20.00 - at least = AT the very LEAST 80% of that money goes to your upper legs/arms, up line - 80%"+" mark up!! While at those local schools, take a class on business and economics, you may learn something.

Lets see.......about "wild"things.......I am a huge salmon fan for the "omega 3's plus I love it and have it out west here every week. Of course I prefer the "wild" salmon in every grocery store here versus the "farm" raised............ why should the "wild be $11.50 and the same exact size be $4.80 for farm salmon. It is always that way at every store. They don't have to feed the salmon or take care of it...it runs wild....bears get to play with it........but just like Mona Vie any any other food it is "supply and demand" and going after it..

I know I do not feel the enduring energy or freedom from aches and pains with anything else. I do not drink this because of "The More Project",I have my own charities I give to. It does not concern me. I know I want to keep the rainforst in the Amazon going with harvesting acai berries instead of destroying it to plant soybeans.
