UPDATE: I don't endorse mixing diet drugs into energy drinks, it is sending people to the hospital read the comments on this product. Read about kids going to the hospital for similar Diet Energy Drinks.
Wow, this drink is some serious stuff. I mean about half the bottle is the warning label, and it is serious, this drink is INSANE. It says that you should not drink it unless you are over 18, which I would say is a good warning. This is the first drink that was to much for me. The bottle says warning potent, but I have had every energy drink I could find without a problem. This Redline, made me feel like I was tweaking out hard core, I felt like I was going to have a heart attack. I seriously mean I wasn't enjoying the quick happy buzz that you get from most energy drinks. This was a scary my body is going out of control hot and cold sweats, tweaked out. I had the drink at two in the afternoon and I couldn't sleep until 4 am in the morning. This drink was way to strong, and if I would have paid attention the bottle says the first time to only drink half the bottle which is one serving, but I did not, and I suffered. This is a diet drink and I don't know what diet ingredients are in this but, I felt nauseous and couldn't eat for hours. In fact I felt like I was going to throw up most of the night. I highly don't recommend having a whole bottle, I highly don't recommend that children have this drink. If you have had a ton of energy drinks and work out drinks maybe you need that final ultimate kick, this drink might give it to you. On the other hand it might kill you. Please only drink half the bottle the first time you try it. I really believe this drink will eventually get taken off the market, whatever is in it, can't be healthy for everyone. I mean the warnings are already very clear that this drink can hurt people. I will probably never drink another one in my life, because I felt horrible after a couple hours, and I didn't feel normal again until the next day. Anyways, this may be the most powerful energy drink on the market, but it may also be to much. Most energy drinks contain little more than coffee lots of caffeine, with a little bit of vitamins and amino acids. This drink has diet drugs in it, that will effect you in other ways. So why did I give it a 7, well, I can't say it doesn't work, because it does. For some people this might be a great new and wonderful drink it packs a hell of a punch. I think for most people this will be to much, and not the best choice. So there you have my review of Redline, perhaps the strongest and scariest energy drink on the market.
Warning: don't drink this without reading the warning, DON'T drink this if your under 18, this drink is full of to many diet drugs.

Posted by Dan at August 7, 2006 09:41 PMIf this is just the regular 8oz Redline that is out, and not anything new that I haven't been buying from GNC for a while now, I will state that I didn't have the same reaction. It does give you a kick, but nothihng more than a Monster XXL drink will. You know, if you put that into perspective...I guess I'm saying than an 8oz drink (redline) will give you a kick comparable to a 24oz drink (monster xxl)...which is 3x its size! I guess that would be saying something :)
Posted by: evilsaywhat at August 7, 2006 10:14 PMYeah I normally just have the normal sized monsters and that does me pretty good. I haven't actually pulled down a full XXL, it is more than I really need.
Posted by: Dan "energy" Man at August 8, 2006 12:02 AMIt's the Evodiamine in Redline that will give you the shakes. It's made to help you lose weight by shaking which is pretty freaky. There's no question that it gives energy but like you say Dan, this goes way beyond simple taurine/guarana/caffeine buzz. I definitely won't drink it and don't advise it to anybody.
Posted by: EnergyGuru at August 8, 2006 10:00 AMWell I am a fifteen year old high schooler and one day me and my brother were in the mall (southwest plaza) and my brother got a phone call from his friend telling him hes got to try "Crack In A Bottle" he told my brother he could purchace the drink at a store in the mall by the name of GNC. that store is a health and diet supplement store. we walked into the store and asked the attendant for "Crack In A Bottle" he knew exactly what we were talking about. he handed us the redline and asked us if we had drank it before. we told him no. then he said only drink half a bottle or you could have heart problems. we bought the drink and my brother drank half the bottle then so did I. in just a little time my chest hurt and i was sweating really bad. Every small movement i made sent a rush of adreneline through my body. It really sucked.
Posted by: Merick A. at August 9, 2006 02:52 AMI drink bookoo energy quite alot, sometimes monster, I love Sobe No fear.
Anyhow, I drink at least 2 energy drinks on a 10 hour shift at work. I think I can handle my own. I bought a redline 8oz can and drank it all. I felt pretty cracked out. Shakes and cold chills. I said I would never try it again. A month later I tried it again, sigh. I did the half a can thing, and it worked a little better, then I had the other half about 4 hours later. Same thing. I bought 2 cans orginally, so I tried the other can same method. Samething. Anyhow, my tolerance couldn't adapt to the drink over 4 servings.
I just consummed my first redline yesterday and i will never do it again. I drank the first half of the bottle and felt a normal rush of energy that you would get from a red bull. A couple hours later i drank the other half before working out. Midway through running, i broke out into a very very cold sweat and felt incredibly nautious. I couldnt stop shaking, i felt like absolute shit. I figured a hot shower might help but it didnt do a think, any skin not directly under the hot water was cold. I broke out into goosebumps and still could not control my shaking. I'm a 6'1 200 lbs, 18 year old guy in excellent health and that redline fucked me up. I definatley do not recommend it to anyone.
Posted by: Doug at August 10, 2006 05:46 AMI was so excited to try this drink after reading all of these reviews.
Let's just say, I was very let down. I drank the 8oz bottle and hardly felt a thing. I think I get more of a buzz from coffee then from Redline
Posted by: Mal at August 13, 2006 11:45 AMI've been drinking Redline since I first saw it advertised on TV 5 months ago. After the time in which I drank a half can I've been consuming the entire can in one serving. No problems so far. I'm full of energy and my mind is sharp.
What can I say about except that I also never had any of the reported problems associated with ephedria either. I love Redline and recommend it for any one with the constitution for it. If you guys think it will be banned then I better start buying my cases now.
You know peanuts can kill you also.
Posted by: Joseph Russell JR at August 15, 2006 03:17 PMI just drank my frist can yesterday and i am disapointed to say it was nothing like what everyone has hyped it up to be. I felt a small caffiene rush similar to any energy drink. I just came off a 4-week regement of NO-xplode, which has tons of caffiene, and i thought this would give me the similar pump but it did nothing.
Posted by: Vish at August 16, 2006 09:51 AMwell i had taken some stupid quiz just for the heck of it to see which energy drink i was and it said redline. I had never heard anything about it since before that. I read a little on it and it talked about how it gave people such a buzz that they had to take it off the shelves of stores in some places. Since then I had wanted to try it. I am a big energy drinker and it sounded like it would be fun if a couple of my friends and i got together and drank it to see just how bad it was. Just today I went to my local 7 eleven to get a monster and i saw it on the shelf. i decided to go ahead and try it. When i went up to the cash register to buy it they asked for my I.D. i was shocked because i didnt have one, me being underaged, and the man insisted that i couldnt buy this drink unless i had an I.D. and was 18 years or older. I put it back and got my monster instead. I still really wanna try it though.
Posted by: jo at August 22, 2006 02:20 PMThis is a dietary supplement made for fitness minded people trying to lose weight or pre workout. The reason why it works so well is due to a combination of ingredients intended to speed up your metabolism(caffeine being the obvious main ingredient). I guess most people are just used to the more mild sugary energy drinks. Since nothing in this drink is illegal, I can't imagine it ever being banned. If you think redline is Hardcore try an Endorush by BSN, 16oz and according to the label, so strong one bottle provides 4 servings!!!

If you have allready been using NO Xplode, it will be hard to compareanything to that, as it is most likely the strongest energy supplement available on the market. Also the amino acid L-Arginine in the NO Xplode is what provides the pump. It opens up your veins allowing for blood flow and vascularity. Because Redline does not contain this amino acid, it does not provide pumps.
I'm 17 and I had one of these PLUS a 24 oz Monster, and I felt fine and went to bed 7 hours later, so I don't really understand how it had THAT much effect on you.
Posted by: Kim at August 31, 2006 03:16 PMI don't believe such products...exercise regularly, eat healthy food ( non processed fat ), and good sleep will keep the energy going for long...
Posted by: Chris at September 1, 2006 03:32 AMChris is right, no matter how many energy drinks you take nothing will replenish your energy like a good nights sleep.
XChrisX - as an amatuer body builder who just came of a regiment of nitrix/NO/cellmass, i know all about the L-arginine in NO-xplode and how it works. but thanks for telling everyone else.
to see if these things really work i just drank 2 redlines in a row on a fairly empty stomach. im sorry to say they still don't have the promised affects of extra energy and a crazy "rush". i think i am too immune to energy drinks after the NO. if you want a real energy drink that will get you focused and dialed in i recommend NO-xplode by BSN, nothing on the market matches it. And for Endorush, it is simply a pre-mixed version of everything that is in NO-xplode. the NO is cheaper and you can control how strong you want it to be. Most people will drink this simply for the caffeine rush as they do with all other energy drinks. i do not recommend NO-xplode for the average joe who is simply looking for a stronger energy drink, NO is only for serious lifters who want that pre-workout rush and the benefits of creatine and L-arginine.

Posted by: sam at September 6, 2006 03:30 PMI have been drinking Redline everyday for the past month and never been happier. I have taken every type of diet pill, energy pill and such and nothing compares to the punch that this 8oz bottle gives me. There are times when I hit the gym with no energy and after drinking Redline I am ready to do anything. I highly recommed it to anyone who wants a good energy rush. Although if you use it for the first time only drink half the bottle. I drink the whole bottle and feel great. No problem sleeping or anything that I read in past post. My son is 15 years old and has no problem with it neither. Matter of fact since he has been drinking it he has been getting up with no problem in the morning and no longer takes a nap after school and ready for the gym when I get home. Before I had to force him to go to the gym. He has also lost 8 pounds in the last 2 weeks and I have lost 7. I love this stuff and intend to use it everyday.

Posted by: Entech at September 7, 2006 06:59 AMI love this drink, I've always been a big fan of red bull and xyience, when I drank this I felt an incredible rush. It was fantastic. I'm a martial artist and I drank this about 3 hours before class and when I began to work out I felt awesome. It seems to me that it effects people differently.
Posted by: Bobby at September 8, 2006 01:07 PMI have been doing some research on cleanses and juices and stumbled on this site. Anything to keep my energy up while eating alkalizing food that may work with my program will be fabulous but i'm not sure about this one as it sounds crazy. I also find that red bull really makes my stomach feel terrible. Are these drinks easy to find and are they available at most GNC's?
Thanks for the info. Great information.

i really want to taste this drink, i've had 5 monster energy drinks, the ones with the green and blue tips i just shake and feel relle shity.
but i want to try this one..
were can i buy this.. do they sell them in the USA??
I have never tried this stuff but I really want too does any one know any drug stores, gas stations that might carry it?
Posted by: Jo at September 23, 2006 05:12 PMI wouldn't recommend this drink to anyone. I had one for the first time about 14 hours ago and I still feel awful. About thirty minutes after drinking 3/4 of the 8 oz. can I got very sick at my stomach. I probably threw up off and on for about 6 hours. My blood pressure was elevated and my heart rate was through the roof. I was freezing one minute and then I would break into a cold clammy sweat. I cn't eat anything because it will not stay on my stomach. I do have asthma and do take asthma inhalers. After drinking it I looked at the can and read the warning label. This is more than an energy drink this is insane. I drink energy drinks all the time red bull, fusion, monster, but this is a whole new animal. I would say "stay away from this drink." If you need energy get some sleep and take a vitamin c. This drink is CRAZY.
Posted by: Michael Lewis at September 24, 2006 08:50 AMI'm very experienced with energy drinks (drink them every day and love them) and this even affected me. After drinking this my skin got very clammy and I broke out into a cold sweat. After 30 minutes later I was uncontrollably shaking for a good 10-15 minutes. Not a fun experience.
Posted by: Nick at September 25, 2006 06:42 PMFirst time to drink Redline. I heard it was powerful, and I have had almost every other kind, even Redline's parnters stuff. Like Endorush and Black Pearl. It was nothing like anything I had ever had. Plus I didnt read before drinking so I drank the whole thing. I pretty much had the greatest day and the worst day ever imaginable. If you do drink it one thing I will say is that make sure you eat starchs and proteins with and after you drink it. Even if you feel like throwing up, because it takes away some of the shaking and the helps beat being really dizzy. Probably wont drink it ever again!!!
Posted by: Ben at September 27, 2006 03:12 PMThis drink is AMAZING, I never had a bad reaction to it, but if you don't eat before i'm sure you will.
I started drinking 1 can, and actually tonight i plan to down 2 of them for that extra rush, because i'm pretty much addicted!
Posted by: Trevor at September 29, 2006 02:38 PMI just had my first can of Redline. I'm fairly used to the "normal" jitters that you get from yellow jackets, hydroxycut, stacker etc cause I've tried them all at some point in time or another. I have to say though...NOTHING and I do mean nothing has ever effected me so hard so fast as this stuff. I have to admit it was quite a ride and I liked it. I am in med school so I am aware of my average pulse and BP. My pulse 2 hours after taking the last of an 8oz was up from 64 (my average) to 100. **Average adult Pulse rate is 60-100 bpm** My BP I found a bit interesting. Normally I am 116/60 but on the Redline my Diastolic pressure went up to 100 **10mmHg higher than the norm** (For those who don't understand Diastolic pressure is the pressure remaining in the arteries when your heart is basically at rest/refilling). So my BP was 118/100. This little bit of information tells me that I should tell you all...If you like this stuff grab it now cause it more than likely will get taken off the shelves like ephedra.
Posted by: DocSoCA at October 4, 2006 01:24 AMIm 16 and my friends and i have a rockstar triple everymorning. so when redline came to our area we quickly went to try it. i was shaking non-stop for 8-9 hours and i couldnt even walk straight. then one of the security guards found my friend on the ground having a sesiure (she chuged 2) and my other friend on the other side of her twitching with her eyes rolling. one went to the hospital and the other was suspended for taking "drugs" at school. after an extensive drug testing session they both came back to school a week later.
this drink wasnt ment to be chugged or even drank within a short amount of time... but the warning label just made us curious and they didnt stop us from buying it.

Posted by: at October 6, 2006 08:15 PMMe and my friend will have 2-4 of these a night easily, supplemented by a steady stream of coffee and monsters. We're lucky if we make it to 2 in the morning. Even on an empty stomach, I don't know what everyone is worked up about.
Posted by: Aaron at October 7, 2006 04:02 PMSo last night I just purchased a RedLine energy drink and anything bad you heard is completely wrong. This drink is AWESOME. I'm not gonna lie, I actually felt a little concerned because I couldn't stop moving around, I was SO wired. There are lots of warnings on the bottle and it says to only drink half of it your first time, but you should definately drink the whole thing... FAST. Maybe for some people it would suck and make them feel bad, but me and 3 of my friends had one and we were off the walls and loved every second of it. I do agree with people who say it will probably go off the market soon. So therefore, you should probably go buy it like, right now while you still can. Thanks.
Posted by: Patrick at October 8, 2006 02:15 PMOk my brother bought me this crazy drink. I drank it before football practice and my coach thought i was on drugs. Even though i played like a total and complete spaz, i thought i was ganna die every secound. it isnt a good feelling when your heart races at an uncontrollable amount. I WOULDNT RECOMEND THIS DRINK.

Posted by: Eric at October 9, 2006 10:57 PMAs info, they don't put the Evodiamine in Redline any more. No more shaking and freaking out, which I kind of miss.
At the same time they changed the ingredients, they changed the packaging from an aluminum bottle to a plastic one. If you can still find the aluminum bottles you're set. :D

These drinks will run you only about $1.00 each and they work great and they are caffeine free and healthy for the entire family. They give you plenty of energy and taste great as well. Posted by: danny at October 14, 2006 02:40 PMI love this stuff. First time i tried it I was tweaking pretty bad but I like it, I got the whole hot/cold sensation. Some of the claims people make about this drink are just straight out lies. Such as going into convulsions and blacking out. A. If this was true it wouldn't be legal, B. The people saying this are all underage and probably looking for attention, if they had these claimed side effects, which they most likely did not, it was their fault anyway and this drink should not be removed to inconvenience anyone else. For people looking for a good pick-me-up after stressful activity redline is great.
Posted by: Josh at October 16, 2006 07:39 PMI wouldnt reccomd this at all. My friend chugged a whole can on an empty stomch, and i swear he was on crack. his eyes were bulging out of his head, and he couldnt speak. I bet you 20 bucks drinking 2 bottles will give you a heart-attack.
Posted by: Mike at October 17, 2006 10:38 AMDrinking 2 bottles will not give you a heart-attack, everyone reacts differently to these drinks i have had 2 bottles within 30 minutes and i didnt feel a thing, it is different for everyone.
Posted by: bobby scott at October 22, 2006 08:56 PMThis stuff gave me the shakes. I did not enjoy drinking it at all. I like Redbull light and have had other similar drinks. This was a horrible experience. This thing is loaded with caffiene. I usually go exercising after drinking energy drinks or eating power bars. I did not feel like doing anything productive after drinking this stuff.
Posted by: agilesreader at October 24, 2006 09:32 PMI'am a Redline fan, so if it didn't work on you...give it another shot. My friend had the same effect but he gave it another shot and was bouncing off the walls. This is the only energy to ever have an effect on me, I could drink 30 red bulls and feel nothing. For those WANTING TO TRY REDLINE the only place you can find it now is GNC.
Posted by: cowboy at October 26, 2006 11:12 PMThis is great stuff, as long as you understand it is a supplement. I found this for under $2 at my local Vitamine Shoppe. It was designed as a pre-workout energy boost, thus why it is so strong. I do not recommend it as a regular energy drink, specially taking a full bottle at one time. I am buzzing on this, but it is nto the strongst I have had. It is MUCH stronger then Monster or any of the standard energy drinks, makes red Bull look tame.
Make sure you take it after eating something. I'd hate to try this on an empty stomach, like you can with most other energy drinks.
Posted by: Brian at October 28, 2006 10:48 AMBecause I'm ridiculously stupid I made the poor decision to drink two of these redlines at the same time. Basically it was like drinking a fever. My vision got a little messed up, I started to shake, I felt very dizzy, and felt cold yet i started to sweat.
Nonetheless I did not feel tired!!! There is a price for everything I guess.
Oh and I ended up puking my guts out.
Posted by: Allen W at October 29, 2006 06:29 AMAll i can say is Redline is the most awesome energy drink on the planet and the only one that burns fat too. The only people who get weirded out on Redline are those who fail to follow directions. If you drink Redline with food in your stomach and drink only half of a can it will slow down the absorption and you should have a spectacualr experience. Because most energy drinks suck, most people think there's no way Redline will work as powerfully as it does. All I can say is this drink commands respect so, pay attention to the label directions and you should have an awesome experience! Also, try the Redline liquid gel caps--they are off the chain and don't hit you as hard as the drink but stay with you a lot longer. If you are sensitive to stimulants start out with one gel cap and work up to two or three if you require something stronger. If you're under 18, no disrespect, but you shouldn't be drinking Redline.
Posted by: thebigshow at October 29, 2006 07:18 PMThis drink tasted gross, I drink the whole bottle, nothing happened to me. I only drink Coke, so by the time I saw the warring lable, I was like "aw crap" but nothing major happened to me.
Posted by: Zack at October 29, 2006 07:52 PMWOW. I drank this at work after a friend recommended it to me. I totally ignored the warnings because I usually don't get a good kick out of a monster or redbull. Bad choice...... I was shaking and tweaking all night... uncontrollably walking around NEEDING to do something, crazy fast heart beats but suprisingly it wore off within about 2-3 hours. But i will Never drink it again. I hated that feeling. Redline? No... Speed.
Posted by: Brian at October 30, 2006 04:11 AMRedline is not a recreational beverage. It isn't a thirst quencher. It isn't a toy, so PLEASE stop acting like fools and getting great TOOLS like Redline banned.
Redline is best used when you are dragging and need to do some strenuous activity. I DO NOT drink it when I am doing paperwork. I would sit here and freak out. I use it before workouts. When I drink Redline about 30 minutes before a workout, I am assured a great workout without bonking in the middle of a session. When used that way, I have never had any trouble sleeping or shaking for that matter.
Use products resposibly and products that WORK will still be available. I am sure that some fool with a heart problem will drink 10 of them while playing soccer in 105 degree heat and the headline will read "Redline energy drink kills athlete".
Use your brains, people.
Posted by: Paul B at October 30, 2006 06:45 AMI had one Redline bottle 2 different times and it really helped me. At the time I was working as a waitress and had a 6-month old baby waking up at different hours of the night. It really delivered energy and I actually had my best total in tips those two days. Go figure! But I was shaking alot as well.
Posted by: Lauren O. at October 30, 2006 02:01 PMtoday, i drank two of the redlines. im still shaking and i drank them at 12. Not gonna lie, im scared. it wore off a little, but i almost called my doctor. i thought i was doing to die. oh my god. DO NOT DRINK THIS
Posted by: caro at October 30, 2006 08:41 PMyea, im like 14 and i tried this 2day,
and ive had like over 100 oz of monster in less than 2 hours, and that kinda fucked me up.
went down to a food store and bought a redline, cuz the curry eaters down there dont care,
and yea, drank the whole bottle in one sitting.
went out and played football, only thing i really felt was that i started sweating a lot more,
that was pretty much it, no huge boost of energy, but idk, ive been drinkin lots of energy drinks and yea, this is probably the one w/ the most energy.
Posted by: tom at October 30, 2006 10:32 PMWhat suprise me is that no one has discovered the only healthy energy drink on the market today. I know it's only been out for a year and a half but most people who use these drinks are pretty on the ball. It is A.C.T. and you can get it here: http://www.m2cglobal.com/oportunity4all and it is only a dollar a drink. No shakes, jitters or tweaking at all.
Posted by: Harold Cooper at October 31, 2006 01:20 PMThat stuff is like liquid crack. I was not myself after I drank it, and was more hyper than energized. I drank it to stay up late and write a paper, but could not write or type due to my shaking hands. MODERATION IS THE KEY WITH THIS ONE

Posted by: dick at November 1, 2006 07:43 AM I have a friend that took this every time before he worked out; he said it gave him so much energy.
I was falling asleep driving from dallas to waco one night and picked up two of these 8oz bottles and downed them.
They reminded me of that grape dymatap cold medicine for kids. Not a bad flavor, but it seriously didnt wake me up at all. I think some people just react different to this.
I think Monster or Rockstar is much better. Down two of either of those and you'll have a rush for a few hours.
hay i just tryed redline and it messed me up i do not think any body should drink it then agin i drank the hole thing in one chug but it made my hart race and breathing hard and iam not in good shape i am 350 lb 6.1 foot 17 year old and yes it dose make you shake

Posted by: Cody at November 8, 2006 11:09 AMOkay, all the people who have bad things to say about Redline are the people who are like, "Oh yeah, I drank it and THEN I read the label." Well, newsflash. If you're drinking an energy drink you've never had before, READ THE LABEL. It clearly says on there to only drink half the bottle if it's your first time, as well as a lot of other warnings. If you follow the instructions, it should work the way you want it to.
Redline became a huge fad between my employees (although my boss got extremely angry if he saw any of us drinking it). I would drink the occasional Rockstar and Red Bull, but they don't do a damn thing for me (unless they're combined with liquor). The first time I drank it, I actually read the whole label. I ate, and then I drank half of it, and an hour later I didn't feel any different, so I drank the rest of it. BIG mistake. As many of the other posts I've read, I had shakes, a cold clammy sweat, incredibly high heart rate, didn't want to eat anything. I felt "cracked out," I even had to pull over on the way home from work and regroup. And it was NOT good. I drank it at about 7pm and I could NOT get to sleep until about 4am, no matter how much I layed in my bed and tried.
I tried it again a few more times and I actually followed the directions, and it worked great. I got the energy boost I needed to work long shifts at my job (sometimes 5pm-7am) AND go to my university full time. The only drawback was it did make me lose weight. Since I didn't want to lose weight (I was already almost underweight at the time), I wasn't very happy about that part. But other than that, it worked exactly the way I wanted it to work. Eventually I worked up somewhat of a tolerance and I drank a can with meals twice a day. I was very pleased with Redline, it worked better than anything else I've ever drank; IF you EAT BEFORE YOU DRINK IT and if you let your body get used to it BEFORE you drink the whole bottle. Oh, and don't use it if you're under 18.
In short; FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS ON THE BOTTLE. They're not kidding. Use with caution.
Posted by: Regina at November 9, 2006 07:21 AMwhat about if you drank 4 in one sitting? I'm a pretty big guy and this stuff hasn't really done much to me in the past so i wanna try something new.
Posted by: matt at November 9, 2006 12:21 PMI would ask anyone thinking about drinking a redline to please stop. I drank one and honestly thought that I was going to die. Please stay away from this drink... If you do drink it and have kids be extra careful that it doesn't get into their hands...
Posted by: Michael at November 9, 2006 09:58 PMSo I guess redline made a liar out of me. I posted that I drank two when I was falling asleep driving home. Well I kept reading everyone saying they get the shakes and stuff and I didnt understand so I decided to give it another try. I had a Monster energy drink this morning and it just wasnt enough to get me awake all the way, so I went and bought a Redline. I only had half of the can and I have the shakes. Its awsome though. It's not scarey like everyone says, I dont think I'm going to die. It's just more energy than a normal energy drink.
Give it a try. Just dont abuse it. That's why those people are saying they feel like they're going to die, they did it wrong.
ok. so i dont see what you people are talking about. so i have never had an energy drink before cause im usully doin sommin else. so getting to the point, this did nothing to me. i downed the whole 8oz and i do not see what all the warning lables are for. I feel the same as i did before. i herd about it from a friend and she said it fucked her up. why cant it work on me? its not fair. so is there anything stronger out there? or is good to drink like 2 or maybe 3 redlines?
im not thinking it would be good on my body but ive done worse shit so umm...idk...
ok good bye.

i got a redline at a gas station. I drank the drink within 5 (five) min. shortly after i went to a party and danced for several hours, after i finished freaking some guys, which might i add had gotten a boner from the major adrenalin rush. i returned home and was still a little tipsy i felt like throwing up, and i also had random feat flashes, as i had the flue. I DONT recommend you drink this drink PLEASE READ WITH CAUTION.
Posted by: KAYLA at November 11, 2006 03:07 AMeverybody is blowing this thing way out of proportion. Yes,you do get very cracked out but alot of the times that is because you have an empty stomach. Also if you eat to much before, you do not feel it as much, thats why some of you say it doesnt work. Trust me, we both drink about one or two redlines per day, the people at our local 7 eleven know us quite well. They order them by the case, just for us. Yes, they are very bad for you and will keep you up for hours on end. If you drink one in the afternoon... you wont be able to sleep at nite, for sure. this is quite funny because we are both drinking them rite now and came across this site while we were trying to find what the ingredients are that make you so tweeked out. It definately does work... and we have found them to be extremely addictive. It is a drug, so don't drink it and complain, and if you don't like it, don't have another one... save more for us, haha! p.s. The shakes and sweats and nauseousness are normal, it will pass, we havent died yet...not to say we wont though, we are aware this drink should bemadeillegal, and when that day comes, we will probably cry. It also comes in a pill form, which we are terrified to try, that can only be worse.

I drank this at 8p.m at the start fo a two hour freeway drive and i didn't sleep til 4 a.m. and that was even though i wasn't tired! i had to force myself to sleep. Crazy eh? I felt NO side effects. I was chipper and dancing a lot for no aparrant reason (extra energy) and i felt great.. it gave me energy like an energy drink should. I recommend it to everyone. The taste is a little weird though, but it's a small price to pay for being able to pull that badly needed all nighter! And if for whatever reason they ARE taken off the market, i need to buy up as many as I can nwo then!!!

Posted by: Vanessa at November 19, 2006 05:28 PMI bought this at a local GNC in an attempt to find something a bit more suited to working out with instead of the usual energy drinks like Redbull, Amped, Monster, etc. The clerk suggested Redline and I bought it. I Read the warning label and drank about 3/4 of it thinking the label was exaggerating to hype it up. Wrong! THIS STUFF IS INTENSE. I can barely concentrate as I write this. My mouth is very dry, I'm very jittery, light headed, and feel like I could bench press a car. I guess this is what being high on cocaine feels like. Next time I'm drinking about 1 - 2oz of this stuff. This stuff shouldnt be next to the "normal" energy drinks. I'm guessing this drink is more suited to people who have intense workouts, not just casually working out to maintain their shape. And what in the world is this stuff doing in convenience stores?!
Posted by: Mo at November 24, 2006 02:35 PMahah redline is definetly the best thing ive had its totally like a crack high as people would call it i was laughing my head off and walk around walmart with insane energy but i had no problem handing it one bit and i only weigh about 145 i mean i wouldnt recommend it but im just saying it just was an extremely intense rush but way fun but i can see why it can be dangerous on others definetly without a doubt
Posted by: LikeBringingAKnifeToAGunFight at November 25, 2006 07:16 AMIts was so awsome, except the only thing that i didn't like about it was that it made me really depressed after it wore off. But i also have a history of depression but the drink brought the feeling back. Other than that it was really good.
Posted by: Tara at November 27, 2006 10:21 AMThat's what I was hoping you would say. For some reason I really felt like looking up Redline, okay I was pretty bored, and I just knew someone else had to "feel the freak" ha ha. Man I got kinda addicted to them at one time and I was losing a lot of weight, but it came to a point where I was having some kind of come down and I just couldn't handle it. I was getting all moody and aggitated. Anyway, I'll drink one every once in a while but they don't even taste good anymore. The smell kind of reminds me of that solution they used on the frogs I disected in the 5th grade. I don't know but its not good. Who knows whats in it, but I do agree that it will not be on the market for long. I feel so much better now. Closure. Peace.
Posted by: Ramirez at November 27, 2006 10:46 PMHello, The first time I had redline it didnt effect me at all and the day after I had it I was fine but the fallowing day I drank a complete Redline on an empty stomache and within 45 minutes I was having Blurry faded white vision in the peripheral vision areas and I was very very hyper and I had just about the worst case of ADHD there was I found myself anwsering questions repeatedly that no one was asking and definately felt like my stomache was below the freezing temperature..this is definately an energy drink for very large people or people that seem to have a problem with lack of energy but definately not for me..
Posted by: Rob Pitts at November 29, 2006 03:33 PMRedline has a light taste and it goes down smoothly so it's easy to drink it quickly, but don't drink it quickly. I believe that's the problem most people are having with it. Just sip on it slowly to guage your tolerance and you should be fine. It really is the best energy drink I've had yet. You just have to be careful with it.
Posted by: chaz at December 9, 2006 10:26 AMOk here it is, I am super healthy, fit, etc. During finals week I thought drinking energy drinks would help me out. I heard about Redline, and knew it was pretty serious because I got carded, and everyone was warning me about it.. so i knew it worked. I drank 1 1/2 bottles within two days or so. And what the oh my god, my body went CRAZY. My heart was cracking out, beating the speed of lightening, my body was twitching like crazy. I felt like sooo Hot on the palm of my hands, and hot through my arm veins or something. And i kept my hand on my chest because i felt like my heart was going to explode. I thought i was going to literally pass out. I was trying with all my strength not to black out because i seriously thought if i didn't stay up my heart would collapse and I would die and never wake up. My body felt like it was losing 10 pounds within seconds and No joke, my body went nuts and i was grabbing sandwich bread and crackeers and muching on them at the speed of light, and grabbing peanut butter and banana's.. you know anything heavy and starchy to fill up my body. But everything i ate felt like it was disinegrating within seconds. And I was drinking hellllla water, and I felt like my body was going too fast, and even as i was splurging so fast at every single food i could get my hands on, i felt like my body was 3 steps ahead of me. i seriously felt like my body was losing 10 pounds within seconds and like my body was turning into a balloon and i was about to float up into never never land. it was so bad. i couldnt keep up, and i was breathing hellla hard and fast. i was short of breath and i couldnt take it anymore, i was freaked out to the point where my body was going to collapse, so i called the police, and i was rushed to the hospital.
Don't take this drink man, it isn't worth it.
This is only a quick description of what happened, NOT EVEN THE FULL AND COMPLETE DETAILED STORY of all the spaces inbetween.
I went Christmas shopping yesterday and it was horrible. i got sooo tired and my brother and his friend went to GNC in the mall and bought a 4-pack of redline. They told me it was basically crack in a bottle. Im 14 and i decided i wanted some so i went and bought another 4-pack and they didnt even ID me. I had a whole one and i felt awesome...but later on it bit me in the ass and i couldnt get to sleep until 3 in the morning cause i was sweating and my heart was beating 100 mph!It was a great rush but it just makes u feel like shit in the end!
Posted by: Stephanie at December 23, 2006 11:15 AMThis drink is dangerous. I HAD to try it for myself... and it was a nightmare I downed the bottle and literally 5-10 mins later I wanted to go to the hospital, I could not believe what was happening to me, I actually thought I was going to die. I was twacked out of my face.
Nightmare. Would NEVER drink it again, not even if you paid me. But, see for yourself & you'll be sorry lol
Posted by: Lozza at December 29, 2006 01:58 AMyah i have always been one of those people who can drink a xxl monster and it will have no effect on me but i like the taste so i would drink them... when i heard about this drink i thought i finally found the drink to give me energy and after drinking the entire can on a empty stomach i felt a little bit of energy at first and then it was gone... one of my firends also had one and he went crazy... so in my opinion it doesnt work on people who are heavy or have high tolerances but for those of you who are smaller perhaps half a can is good for now
Posted by: Jonathan at December 29, 2006 03:55 AMi drink 4 of 5 energy drinks a day... So when i had redline. the effects were about the same as the time i had 13 energy drinks in one day. next time im going to drink too... this shit is compared to coccaine :]
Posted by: grim at December 29, 2006 10:52 PMI drank Redline energy drink WITHOUT reading the label and i was fine. Maybe it is me maybe it's not but i drank the whole thing. As i was finishing it my friend had told me that it is bad for me. I read the label, thought about the possible death it could cause because I am in fact under 18. I played hockey last night, had a lot of energy, no shaking no cold or hot sweats. I am more then 15 pounds overweight, this warning level is nothing. Of course, you should abide by the guidelines on the side of the can/bottle. I believe that this drink could quite possibly become larger then what Red Bull and Monster are today. This drink is easy to buy because it is two dollars and in the smallest writing known to man it says "The consumer assumes total liability..." I also had Redline Energy Drink on an empty stomach and yet I was still fine. There was no doubt that after I read the label I was a little scared, but who wouldnt be? With all of the disease's and medical conditions you shouldnt have if you are drinking this product you would have a better chance of living if you got cancer. I will agree with most of you by saying that this does work more effectively than any other energy drink i have had. Even this morning I can still feel it, and I drank it last night around nine o'clock pm eastern time and it is currently 9:20ish am. I appreciate the chance to voice my opinion because I feel that I have restored some confidence in the consumers of this product. The fruity flavor of Redline tickles your tastebuds and sends you on an adventure. Some of my friends drink energy drinks for the hell of it, but I myself drink them when i want more energy. For example, I like to play hockey and football with my friends, so in that case i would drink an energy drink. Once again, thank you for this chance, and I hope all of you will take a chance with life and drink a Redline Energy Drink.

Dude, iono if it works for everyone. i've tried it many times and it has no effect on me. i even tried drinking 2 complete bottles at once and it has no effect on me.

Posted by: Steve at January 1, 2007 02:45 AMI saw this stuff at 24 hour fitness the other day, and like a dumb-ass, I bought 2 bottles. I glanced at the warning label, read the instructions about downing 1/2 bottle to assess tolerance. Again, like a dumb ass, I drank a full bottle and after about 15 minutes without feeling anything, I downed the second bottle. What a mistake! NEVER DO THIS!!!!! About 5 minutes later, I was in cold sweats, shaking, I could feel my heart pounding out of my chest. I couldn't eat, or sleep for the next 36 hours. This is powerful stuff...take it as directed, and I have to agree with a previous post, that this stuff will be off the market soon.
Posted by: darryl at January 1, 2007 11:27 PMI am writing this while on redline and I must say it is very difficult so sorry for the spelling because I can barley see let alone type straight .I had my friend buy me the redline energy drink because I asked my bro if he had tried it and he said it was insane and I shouldnt drink it because it will just tweak you out, amd it did. I drank the whole bottle my first time about an hour ago now and I am still shaking and having cold sweats which a lot of people seem to ahave. I drink a lot of energy drinks and I am imune to most of them like bawls, redbull and jolt and the rest of them but this one WOW. i AM tweaking out like none other.
All I have to say is try it but be careful if you do but read the WARNING LABLE PLEASW!!!!! But u got to try it for yourself. DUUUUDE.

Posted by: Ashley Delandy at January 9, 2007 11:18 AMBeware, this drink contains an EXTREMELY dangerous ingredient, Yohimbe. This stuff was used for a sexual enhancement drug, but was taken off the market(almost banned) for causing people to go into convulsions and sometimes death.
But i do have to say, this drink KICKS ASS. Will blow your mind with the intense rush. It will make you feel like a god, unstoppable.
by the way, this stuff barely has Yohimbe, but enough to be dangerous(which isn't much). Watch what you eat, as some foods will make increase chances of the Yohimbe side effects
i tried this stuff yesterday by the suggestion of one of my friends. im 19 years old, 6'1", 205lbs, and im pretty solidly built, i work out every single day. i have a high tolerance for caffiene, coffee and energy drinks do very little for me normally. since i work out a lot, and i decided i would attempt using this stuff as a pre-workout supplement. i ate beforehand, had a great workout, no shakes or jitters, and i'd have to say it worked well overall. i only consumed half the bottle
i would like to know if anyone has any information on any longterm health effects consuming this drink moderately could cause...until then i wouldn't use again, because in reality, it was more powerful than anything else i have ever tried before
long story short, id like to believe i am in pretty good shape, and have a high tolerance, and i actually did feel something. nothing drug-like or deadly, but nonetheless unexpected. as the package states, don't try it if your over 15 pounds overweight (which most people are and do not even realize it). just be careful, and enjoy in moderation.
Posted by: Jesse at January 11, 2007 12:46 PMI just gave this stuff a shot, Well maybe 2, 2 ounces that is. Im a regular energy drink consumer, you pretty much name it Ive tried it, and this stuff blows them all away. I drank the 2 ounces prior to working out, nothing like it. I pushed every set to the max and top it off I hit my concentration bag for 20 minutes afterward. This stuff rocks. Lets just hope I will have no problems falling asleep tonight.
Posted by: Casey at January 12, 2007 04:22 PMnow i am a huge enrgy drink guy but last year when i was 13 years old i walked into gnc at my local mall and bought a redline. i did not read the label until after i drank the whole thing. but i was like w/e fuck it. nothing bad happened, i felt as if i drank a monster or something. so a couple weeks later i was at the gym and i noticed it in one of the refridgerators, it was about 1 in the afternoon, and i bought it and drank the whole thing. all i had to eat the whole day was a half a bagel. about an hour later i started getting bad stomach problems and sweating when i wasnt working out. then later, me and my dad went on a snowboard trip, i was like ok this has got to wear off, but it got worse. this was the worst i ever felt in my entire life. i kept on rolling the windows down in my car because i thought i was going to throw up, and i tried to eat something to make it better and i just got the worst headache ever and more nautious. my advice only drink half the bottle of dont buy it. it seriously fucks u up.
Posted by: Kyle at January 13, 2007 09:03 AMI drink redline at least once a week, but quick cautiously and follwing these guidelines:
1. NEVER drink it on an EMPTY stomack, otherwise you will have the chills, nausea, and all the side ffects that people talk about. 2. Drink HALF A BOTTLE ONLY!!! in a 24 hour period, and 3. Drink it no more than twice a week.
Well, this is my second time trying redline and I can't say that I'm impressed. I don't generally drink energy drinks, so I thought that for sure this would effect me. But both times I drank half a bottle and both times I didn't feel any different/ No shakes, no nausea, no heart palpitations. The only noticable effect seems to be a slightly reduced apetite. At 105kgs I guess maybe I'm a big guy and that's why one serving has no effect on me?
Posted by: Some Guy at January 19, 2007 01:22 AMEveryone who is taking this drink without reading the label is completely retarded. Mostly everyone who wrote about how they chugged 2 bottles and then seizured or something was under 18, so grow up and READ before you write about how terrible it is for you. Eat something, drink it, and go to the gym, and the product will work exactly the way it's supposed to. It specifically says in the PARAGRAPH of directions and warnings what to and what not to do, and if you don't follow them it is your fault if you experience adverse reactions. On the other hand, everyone who has used this drink beneficially has followed the directions or has seen how Redline has affected them before drinking more. So don't be stupid.
Posted by: Dayna at January 24, 2007 09:16 AMStay out from this energy drink. I normally have a cup of coffee in the morning, after a cup and still tired, walke to the store a grabbed redline. I downed it all without reading the (very)fine warnings. After a few minutes, I felt dizzy, nausia, shaking hot and cold, sweathing and really loosing it. Ended up being taken by the paramedics to the hospital and was admitted. This stuff will kill you, please stay away from it.

Posted by: eileen at January 30, 2007 07:52 AMi have been drinking redline for almost a year. it doesn't affect me like it effects most people on here. I will have to say that Red line has assisted me in losing almost 30 lbs now. which is pretty crazy. I'm just scared that it will have long term affects on my body and I will pay consequences later
Posted by: bones at January 30, 2007 04:44 PMhahah, yeah, this is best energy drink i've ever had. i'm fifteen and weigh about 110 lbs. it tastes kind of like red kool-aid w/ added vitamins.. i personally love it. a couple of my friends and i were at a gas station and i've never heard of it and they said that if you need an energy boost, this was the stuff to drink. so we all got it, drank a whole bottle each, [not knowing there was even a warning label or you needed to be eighteen to drink it].. it didn't kick in until about 40-45 minutes later. it made me hella nautious, and made me feel like total crap, but it's an addicting feeling. hard to explain if you've never tried it. my legs were giving out all night, and i couldn't even walk in a straight line haha. it's like i was trying to command my legs to walk, but they just wanted to do their own thing... but yeah, it keeps you up all night, and is definitely like crack in a bottle no doubt..
Posted by: ashley at February 1, 2007 12:17 PMJust drink Spike Shooter instead, from Biotest. It's just as powerful but it's not a thermogenic so it won't give you shakes or nausea or sweating. It's a very clean, yet powerful type of energy. Long live Spike Shooter!
Posted by: Robert at February 2, 2007 03:44 PMI am a hard core caffiene addict. We're talking, quad shot coffee's and three rockstars a day. I just tried Redline today for the first time. This drink made me feel like I had over dosed on crank or something. I have never been so freaked out in my life. I felt like I couldn't catch my breath, I was sweating excessively, and I was vomiting untill there was nothing left in my system, and I have yet to stop shaking. I do not recommend this drink to anyone.
Wow ... this stuff is the the Sh!T. I'm 15 and 105lbs, and this is by far the best drink I have ever had. I drink 2-3 cans(18oz) of Bawls everyday and usually 1-2 cups of coffee every morning and this stuff still gives me the jitters. All I can say is make sure you have had something to eat before. Only one time have I tried 3 bottles within a 4 hour period and that sucked .... I felt like I was going to die and I have never felt that way before, even when downing lots of NO-doze. Just stick to 1-2 bottles and you should be fine.
Posted by: atarimaster at February 4, 2007 10:39 PMi'm a 15 year old, 100 lbs. ADHD kid and i had a redline for the first time today.... i drank half the bottle, and when nothing happened, i drank the other half (10 minutes later).... i drank it with my friend, and in less than 5 minutes, we were running around the classroom with our jackets off, sweating like crazy! we both felt sick, and she said she wasn't hot, when we both were...... but then it kind of settled down, i had p.e. and i ran half a mile in just under 2:30.... and i couldn't stop talking!!!i was talking too fast for people to understand, i'm having another one tomorrow!!!
Posted by: Cody at February 5, 2007 11:33 PMI have an ulcer and most energy drinks make me sick, and give me a horrible pain. Redline, however... does not; go figure. I haven't had any bad side effects from it, but then I am extra careful and read the warning labels. I liked it so much I went and bought a couple of the 4 packs.
Posted by: Crystal at February 8, 2007 02:04 PMDO NOT DO THIS!!! IM 19 YEARS OLD AND STUPIDLY DRANK TWO REDLINE 8 OZ. BOTTLES, MY HEART IS BEATING SOO FAST AND I HAVE REALLY UNCONTROLABLE SHAKES. I REGRET IT AND AM WARNING ALL YOU OTHERS OUT THERE, THIS DRINK DOES NOT MESS AROUND!!! IT'S LASTING JUST ABOUT 24 HOURS, DO NOT DO IT!!!
Posted by: Daniel at February 8, 2007 02:25 PMit took me a while to get my hands on one and i took the whole bottle not reading the directions . so about 10 min later i was trippin out and couldnt stand still ..it is as good as drugs .. lol

Posted by: james at February 9, 2007 03:45 PMi thought this drink was insiane, some of the prducts are the same in cocain rocks, with the same chill too. i thought it was a very nice trip un like the other people below. Drinking half the can or even 1/4 is good for the first second third and even fourth time, you can never get a tolerance to this drink. it eats away at your stomach and kidneys.
Posted by: mandy at February 12, 2007 03:12 PMI used to drink Redline before I discovered Spike Shooter in my local 7-Eleven.
It actually tastes good and doesn't make me sick when I haven't eaten in a while.
Posted by: Carl at February 14, 2007 05:23 PMI can drink 2-3 of these in one sitting with little to no effect so I think you need a seriouse rush before ever trying this shit again.
Posted by: nemo at February 16, 2007 09:09 PMyou guys can drink them all u want. u should know that it causes arrhythmia in practically everyone but u wont necessary feel anything, just a rapid heartbeat. the truth is every person metabolizes differently and some people have more adverse side effects
Posted by: non-idiotic reader at February 19, 2007 12:56 PMJust thinking about this stuff makes me hyper and giggly! I've never done any drugs, but this stuff does to you something similar to what I would think SPEED feels like! Since I don't do any drugs, I figure maybe I can get my kicks drinking this stuff once in a while. lol. I had a blast when I drank this stuff. My heart didn't race. I just felt all happy and hyper and jittery. It gave me some sort of a high. This probably sounds bad to all you guys, but seriously, is it that bad for me to want to use it for fun once in a while?! I was told that you can only get it at the health food store, and I went there but they didn't carry it. I don't know where any gncs are around here. I see that some of you found it at 7eleven. I guess I'll look there.
Posted by: Danielle at February 23, 2007 02:21 AMI don't know what everyones problem with this stuff is. I had previously never had an energy drink in my life and wanted to try one so I went out and bought a Full Throtle. It provided a pretty good rush, I drank it at 9 PM was up till about 3 AM. The very next day I decided to buy a RedLine and drank it at around 5:30 PM. I was up till abou 12:30 and I loved every second of it. I shook a little but it was a great experience.
Posted by: Alex at February 25, 2007 06:56 PMwell, i hope there's nothing terribly fatal in redline because in the last year i've had probably a hundred or so. yeah they pack a kick and they're not for everyone... but for some of us... it's legal crack.
Posted by: carrie freaking perry at February 28, 2007 01:00 PMi dont know what kind of redline your buying but im 17 and i just drank my first one today and nothing happened to me when i drank it... but i do drink about 3 redbulls a day
Posted by: erich at March 1, 2007 03:52 PMso pretty sure. i had my first Red Line today at school. Drank the whole thing in like 15 minutes. I wont lie. Im a 15 year old girl whos got a thing for the energy drinks. On top of that im way sensitive to caffeine. But i had the shakes and i was sweating more than the normal for a 60degree weather day..made me nervous for a bit. At one point i had to gasp for breath. It was a rush, and i loved every second of it. I was wayy hyped for my day. Its probably not the best thing. haha. And im still cold as hell. But i wont stop drinking them till my body has a problem. Its a super kick.
Posted by: Tiffany at March 1, 2007 05:52 PMi just drank this stuff about a hour and a 30 min ago and im tweaking my head off, I'm at school right now and i cant even type on this computer with out feeling dizzy, this is is the LAST TIME I'm ever going to drink this, I'm scared and i wish i read the label before i shotgunned it. don't even drink half of it, DON'T even drink it, please!!!!!!
Posted by: ZHennagin at March 5, 2007 09:43 AMI tried redline for the first time about 2 days ago after my friend told me how much it helped him in the gym. i am an 18 year old female, i drink half the bottle like it suggests 20 minutes before i worked out. it made quite the difference. i went up 10 lbs in all my bi's and tri's supersets, and added an extra 20!! to my grave diggers. this product made me shake, however its supposed to do that. after working out i felt kinda bad, but it's just because i was "coming down" off of it. this product is meant for adults (18 plus) and to be taken as recommended. finally, a product equal too (and in my case better) then NO xplode. *try it*
Posted by: Robin at March 5, 2007 11:01 AMi juss drank redline today and it helped me for my work out but after the work out i felt like shitt my body was shaking i had so much energy i didnt no wut to do i wouldnt recommend this energy drink or ne other energy drink its really bad for ur heart but if u wanna get a good buzz try Cocaine energy drink its about 4 redbulls packed in one ive never tried it but my friends did and they were fuckin high
Posted by: sean at March 5, 2007 06:18 PMHi, just thought id put in by scary 2cents worth about redline, I’m a 16-year-old male, about 170lbs or so and just under 6feet, I’m in good health and I have no history of heart problems in my family.
I tired redline cause like the other people out there I had heard it was "the most powerful energy drink"(fuck that, its not an energy drink).
I went with a friend to a GNC at a local mall and we bought a can, I proceeded to drink 1/2 the can and my friend had the other half, a few min later I felt nice and pepped up, 20 min later or so I was beginning to feel sick and cold, 30 minutes later I felt a sharp pain in my chest. Next thing I know I’m waking up in the ICU of the hospital. After regaining some sense of reality I asked the doctor what had happened and he told me I’d had a heart attack, I was curious and asked if it was major or minor (stupid question I know but I was freaked out as all hell). After talking to the first doctor I was then referred to another doctor, from what I was told the heart attack that I had was pretty much what a 50 year old man who was 200 pounds overweight and ate McDonalds 5 times a day.
After that experience I’m done with that drink, I have no problems with other energy drinks, I normally consume 20+ lost and blue sky energy drinks (16oz each) in the course of a school week and I’ve never had any effects lik that again…
wow, all of you that say this is too much, are serious pansy's. I know I can hold my own, and I did. I'm 15, and i got my first bottle of Redline RTD a few weeks ago... me being my insaine self, I chugged the whole bottle... I could instantly feel the energy and started to go to work. I had an incredible work out. The sickness feeling comes from not eating before hand, people that didn't know that need to read up before they just try stuff. Simple solution to that is to puke it up and then eat, or just eat. It really depends on how sick you are. I would recommend this if you think you can hold your own, just follow the rules, I take a full bottle now, but i started out with the half bottles (after i tried it the first time.). Follow the rules and read the warnings, I always keep the bottle with me after I drink it in case something happens a medical crew would know that i've taken it. All in all I think this is a great product for those who want to lift seriously, my friends were having to pull me off the machines, it's great stuff. The shivers and sweats are normal, but when you're working out you don't even realise them. I don't recommend taking this if you don't plan on working out, especially not a full can.
Posted by: Chris at March 7, 2007 04:20 PMI don't see the problem with Redline. Of course if you are going to be an idiot and take the whole bottle then yes i can see why you think you would be on the verge of a heart attack. This drink is made for people who want more energy to last longer during workouts which is why use the only reason why. Do not take this drink to stay up, it needs to be used in combination with strenuous workouts. I take it 30 min before a workout and it gives me incredible energy and i feel very pleased and satisfied when i'm done for the day. I can also go home 3 hours later and take a nice peaceful nap. This drink is not made for people who sit on their asses allnight just to stay up.

Posted by: Melissa at March 9, 2007 06:53 PMI have never encountered the drink, but did take a packet of the Redline pills one day. The effect was predominantly that of a good dose of caffeine plus yohimbe. One does need to be careful with yohimbe; I've found that a quarter teaspoon of powdered bark gives a good boost. A full teaspoon is definitely unpleasant. I can confirm the substance's ability to surprise you with spontaneous erections. These are more enjoyable if put to good use.

Posted by: Dylan at March 10, 2007 05:38 PMi just had redline for the first time to day(full can/empty stomach). i thought it was pretty good. the taste was about average for most energy drinks. the energy boost was in about 30 min of the time i finished drinking it. i drank it around 8:45 in the morning during my first period class in highschool. i kinda like to refer to myself as an energy drink connaisseur. i've had about 125 different energy drinks (out of the 235 listed below and not including all the diff types of coffee and tea's i've consumed) and this one has alot of kick but is overrated by the company for the label... maybe for some ppl this had to much caffiene but personaly i think it wasn't as powerfull as some of the previous posters say it is.
i think that cocaine (the energy drink) is quite a bit more powerful than this. and tastes a bit better (like a cherry monster... if there ever was one) except for the "burn" which is like a mix between a hot sauce and strong alcohol burn.
not to say it doesn't get the job done. it did quite well. i'm just here to say it's one of the "lesser evils" in the energy drink world
Posted by: Chris at March 12, 2007 07:16 PMIm a 5'9 tall 170 pound martial arts instructor and i was running a spring break camp (630-630) so i would grab an energy drink in the morning to help me get ready for the day. Red line didnt have anymore effect on me than any other drink ive had before accept i have started to see much more definition in my muscles so for energy i give it a 6 out of 10 for wieght loss i give it a 9
Posted by: Travis at March 14, 2007 05:54 AMonce again we are back to say that these drinks are amazing... these drinks get us through our long work hours. When under the influence of redline, we find ourselves having our own personal dance parties, and fun fests filled with energy and laughter. also, they really do wonders for the weight loss, they completely cut down on our food craving. We tend to drink them in the morning so we can have an absolutely fabulous time all day.

how come u dont got scopion energy drink its as good as rockstar
I had this shit at 6pm today cause I had a long drive ahead of me. I usually get an energy drink cause It keeps me alert and I dont get tired when Im driving. I bought it at super supplements and the girl there told me she'd never tried it but that a lot of people love it and that it gives them a great "kick". I have never experienced anything as strong as this is. Im 21 and have tried N.O. Xplode, Nitrobolics Extreme, a crapload of energy drinks and straight caffeine pills. I just wish I would have had this before a workout when I could have burned off some of my energy instead of just sitting in a car. Im still sweating now 7 hours later but im no longer shivering. I think this would be a great pre workout drink but is not the best choice if your just driving or doing non physical activity. I did drink the whole bottle on an empty stomach before reading that a serving is just half. I felt like I was gonna puke for a few hours but I think thats cause I didnt have any food in there with it. BOTTOM LINE: If your gonna do something physical definitely give it a try. If you just want an energy drink to stay awake this isnt the one!
Posted by: Seattleboi at March 18, 2007 01:51 AMI had a redline today. all I have to say is holy shit!! talk about a boost in energy. If you have not had the pleasure of this drink...PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW THE WARNING LABEL before consuming... Like I said I had a redline today..as long as I stayed active I was fine....stop moving and I felt like i was gonna hurl and my heart was going jump out of my chest and kick me in the face. As posted before by others...this is a good drink for people who want to have a good day working out...not for the people who want a perk just to stay awake and play video games for a few extra hours.
Posted by: furburger at March 18, 2007 03:23 AMyou guys who say this stuff is too much are just a bunch of puds, I drank 2 bottles in a 20 minute period of time, and honestly, I get more of a rush from 3 shots of espresso
Posted by: fahq at March 20, 2007 11:05 AMif you want a good boost of energy, I would recommend NO-Xplode for that.
Posted by: fahq at March 20, 2007 11:09 AMsoo im 15. about 118 lbs. i drank this thing tonight. i didnt know what it was. my brother handed it to me b/c i love energy drinks. i had not idea about anything in it. i started shaking... like inside of my body and feel like im gonna puke right now, but otherwise. its not that bad. =]
Posted by: katie at March 21, 2007 07:09 PMi just started red line pills but havent tried the drink yet. im 5'3 125lbs and totally immune to caffeine (so i say) i drink so much coffee and have been taking energy pill (including epehdra) known to man that i feel nothing effects me anymore. i have felt a bit nauseus f/the pills but nothing extreme. im anxious to try the drink now b/c i really want to know if it will effect me. Red Bull might as well be water b/c it does NOTHING. if it doesnt effect me i guess i know im SOL. :o( (has anyone mixed the pills w/the drink? i think i might stop my heart if i do that though! suggestions?)
Posted by: kara at March 21, 2007 07:45 PMfuck what i said b4.. im shakin. and i wanna puke like no other... FUCKIN A!
Posted by: katie again at March 21, 2007 08:17 PMI have to say I was quite disappointed when I bought a case of Redline at GNC last week and tried it.
I read the multiple accounts on here of people saying it's like nothing they've ever experienced before, shaking, huge amounts of energy, etc. I adhered to the warning label at first, drinking only half the bottle, but drank the rest 5 minutes later. After about an hour of feeling nothing, I decided to really put it to the test and drink the other 3 bottles. Yep, the entire 3 other bottles. In the period of 15 minutes. so, 4 bottles in a half an hour... and I still didn't feel any "extra" energy, nor did I feel the shaking or any of that like a lot of people said on here. It's probably just me though; I've realized that none of the caffeine-touting substances really work for me. I must have an unbelievably high immunity to caffeine; that's the only thing I can come up with. Even took 6 no-doz caffeine tablets one time, and nothing. Oh well. Maybe one of these days I'll find the solution :-)
Posted by: Matt at March 21, 2007 09:30 PMmatt if you find it, tell me cuz these damn redline pills def. arent doing anything for me. i still havent tried the drink. noone has answered me yet whether they have mixed the 2.
Posted by: kara at March 22, 2007 09:22 PMkara, I got my redline 4-pack from GNC; that's really the only place I know that sells it. I looked elsewhere and couldn't find it. The pills supposedly do the same thing, so just to forewarn you, if you're really looking for something that works, if the pills don't, then the drink probably doesn't either. I will say though that the taste actually isn't bad at all though
Posted by: Matt at March 24, 2007 03:23 PMThis is some fucking bullshit I have ever herd and it has been tested before it was put into stores and the people that have been saying it made then breakout with cold sweat are really just people fucking talking about it like that in the same god damn town and there school is full of shit. Good Day Fucking ass holes
Posted by: Daniel Stewart at March 30, 2007 10:28 PMYou people that say this drink is safe are full of shit. I am a 24 year old male who has ate the shit out of Adderall (amphetamine). I had a meeting at work last night, and I was draggin and picked up a bottle of Redline on my way to work. Not my first time with Redline, but my first time without eating for 24 hours. I usually drink a whole bottle, and yes I am familiar with the warnings, but it has never bothered me before. Anyway, about 15 minutes later I found it hard to hold my head up. I was sweating and my heart beat was faster than it had ever been (I've smoked 2 8-balls of meth in one night before). I felt like I was going to pass out or have a seizure. I was seriously scared for my life. If you decide to try it, eat first. I've never been so scared. Just a warning
Posted by: Mike at March 31, 2007 06:32 AMThis drink is meant for people who are looking to lose wait by working out at the gym. It is not intended as a replacement of a morning red bull or monster drink for that quick morning buzz. Redline is a dietary supplement.. so if you plan on trying it.. work out.. or ull probably end up feeling horrible like the people who posted on here who did nothing. ITS NOT A DAMN RED BULL.. ITS A DIETARY SUPPELEMENT.. and it owns.
Posted by: John at April 3, 2007 12:20 PMWell my boyfriend recommended a redline drink for energy and boy was it. The first time I drank it was only half and I had the jitters but not too terribly bad. The 2nd time was this morning on an empty stomach and I will NEVER do that again!! After about 30 mins I was nauseous and threw up at least 4 times and had stuff coming out of other areas as well. I laid down for a bit and had the sweats for a few hours. I had to force myself to eat a piece of chicken to try and settle it down some. Later in the afternoon I was fine but I do not recommend this drink to anyone with a LOW tolerance. I do however think that it will help with weight loss, but the effects of ephreda are almost deadly. Just be careful and follow the instructions!!! KIM
Posted by: Kim at April 3, 2007 04:42 PMwow, I was hoping to get something from this. I've drank 3 bottles downing each one at once. I don't feel anything. Last night I took one around 10pm and was fast asleep by 12:30

Posted by: lunchbox at April 10, 2007 11:13 PMI tried my first Red Line yesterday. It is 11:38am the next morning I have not been able to sleep but 3 hrs on an off throughout the night since last night at 12. I do not reccommend this drink to anyone. I drank it before I ran I vomitted twice and had to stop because I thought I was going to have a heart attack. Kids should definitely not drink this..RED LINE SHOULD BE TAKEN OFF THE MARKET....
Posted by: T at April 14, 2007 09:41 AMFor all of you that claim that this drink doesn't do anything to you I have a news flash. If your body cannot handle something it generally won't. It's a self defense mechanism. Instead of absorbing your body rejects it. I can down 5 stackers 2's. 2 rockstar XL's, and 1 full throttle and go to sleep in 1 hour. 2 of the pills and I could not sleep for 2 days. For those who have taken NO Xplode and such. From what I hear that is beyond redline but no matter what these are intense. One again I have adapted though. 3 and 4 at a time don't do anything.
Posted by: Phil at April 16, 2007 12:27 PMI have tried Redline many times and never had a bad experience like the one everyone on here is talking about. If you really read the bottle it tells you to only drink 1/4 the bottle...not half...so that may be a reason you guys are getting the shakes and what not. I like Redline because it doesnt do that to me like all the other energy drinks out there. When i drink Redline and it starts to wear off it doesnt make me feel sick, like monster does. I would def. tell people to try redline, you just have to be smart about it. Not only does it warn you not to drink more then 1/4 the bottle but also not to drink it if you are more then 15 pounds over weight. Just be smart and its a very good energy drink.
Posted by: Stephanie at April 16, 2007 01:25 PMAlright I just want to put it out there that I am 16 years old and I drank one and a half bottles of Redline. I went to a school dance was feeling great trippin out a little bit but lots of energy. It gave me a little stomach ache but nothing too serious. I got home later that night and my heart was truckin'. I felt a sense of euphoria and I thought I might seriously die. While the drink is very powerful and may be an uncomfortable experience for some, it can be a great tool to use as a supplement for exercise and serious fitness training.
Posted by: Sam at April 16, 2007 03:10 PMWell, to me this is the best thing before going to a club or gym. For me half a bottle at a time works wonders. More than that makes me nervous and anxious. It works differently on every1. Just be smart. Also, i don't recommend it for people who have heart problems at all.
READ THE LABEL PEOPLE!!! I certanly cannot take this if i'm trying to stay up late to write a paper...because i just can't focus. This is for the gym, clubs, sex ect!!
Have fun but be smart!!!
I just drank about two thirds of the drink and i felt like i could beat the shit out of anyone. So i started to work out to burn some of the energy and now im done working out. Now im typing and my chest hurts, im shaking, and my vision is kinda blurred. Ive had about every energy drink around and nothing compares to redline. This shit is insane...wow and now im fealing like i want to throw up :( DONT DRINK REDLINE IF YOU ARE UNDER 16 yrs old and dont wieght at least 160 lbs. This shit will fuck you up!!!
Posted by: Garrett at April 25, 2007 06:05 PMEat a meal before drinking Redline. Do not take on an empty stomache. This will avoid that feeling of vomiting.
Posted by: Crystal at April 25, 2007 11:02 PMI am 5'2 108 lbs and 21 yrs old. I drink 1/2 redline in the morning instead of coffe and the other 1/2 around noon and I feel fine, i have never had any issues with it and it gives me great energy working out. However i have never drank a whole can in one sitting so that could be the difference. I just think come people's systems are more sensitive then others.

Some guy at the liquor store suggested I try Redline while I was picking up a couple of Rockstars (sugar free Rockstars). I drank the first half and did not feel anything for about 30 minutes so I downed the rest of it. Sick - I got sick. After a couple of hours I began to sweat huge amounts so much that I had to change my clothes. My stomach was really messed up and I slept for about 15 hours. I woke up once in a while to drink water in an effort to flush this stuff out. I was also weak and hot and cold back and forth. I am in good health but I am also 56 years old and had major back surgery 3 weeks ago - so my timing was a bit off taking this stuff. I am also on high levels of pain meds which I think interacted with the Redline. I might try it again but at a much smaller amount, like a teaspoon or tablespoon full mixed with juice. That would probably be the smartest way for me to try it again and see if I gain any energy from it. Beware, this stuff can make some people very ill. Kirk
Posted by: Kirk at April 27, 2007 10:20 PMUm..Hellooo the bottle says TAKE HALF. All of the bad reviews I see on here are from people drinking the whole bottle and sitting around on their arse. It is an energy drink and what people dont understand is that energy drinks are for active people who want an extra boost to accomplish what they set out for. I am a derby girl, so I roller skate a lot. Sometimes, I get pretty winded and need the extra kick. If you're actually doing something active (aka not sitting in front of the T.V. sipping an energy drink) then you won't feel twaked out. Also if you FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS you'll be better off. I would definately recommend this drink to anyone who is serious about using an energy drink wisely. It packs a great punch and lets you accomplish what you'd like to accomplish without all the sugary gross bullcrap that goes into monsters and rockstars. P.S. in response to Kirk "beware, it can make people very ill" it should read "it can make morons who dont read the label and use it correctly very ill" just like anything else you put in your body.
Posted by: Lauren at April 29, 2007 01:43 PMYou people who drink this are ridiculous, and really crave drinking these? For all you people who drink one a day...congratulations for taking 30 years of life and a promising death from a heart attack.
Posted by: anonymous at April 30, 2007 12:31 PMThis stuff mest me up. I feel like there is a poison going through my body and it is slowly killing me. This is almost 12 hours after drinking it. I had the paramedics come an hour after drinking it, my heartrate was 128 (normal is about 70) now 12 hours later it is 119. Still extremely high. Also I feel very confused and it is hard 2 concentrate and make decisions. People react differently to this drink. I would not suggest this to any of my friends. But please just read the warning label and follow the directions, just to be on the safe side.
Posted by: kk at May 1, 2007 01:54 AMthe guy who wrote this is a pussy i've drank 6 redlines in a 2 hour period...not guna lie i thought death was approaching but i tuffed it out... half a can?? and u couldnt sleep til four?? wow i average 2-3 cans a day step ur game up.. either your a real fat ass or a little girl.
Posted by: rob at May 3, 2007 06:27 PMI drank half a can like the label says and felt some racing in my heart but I didn't get any shakes (not yet at least, 3 hrs later). I also felt some restlessness but I took it before a workout for the energy. It did it's job. The people tweaking on this must be taking too much for their bodyweight. I can imagine high school kids trying to get their hands on these to get tweaked. One of these days one of these stupid teenagers is going to die from it and it will join the rest of the supps that are banned because of stupid teenage use.

Posted by: liz at May 11, 2007 06:33 PMi drank 2 redlines in a row and felt good and full of energy and a few hours later i felt like i was going to pass out i drink the big monster which is like 24 oz or something every day and those redlines blew it away but i heard of this one guy that went to gnc and got the four pack of redlines and drank em all before he went into work and he passed out wile he was working pretty scary
Posted by: montsterhead at May 12, 2007 11:32 PMThis is not a good drink. I had to take my friend to the emergency room last night because she drank a bottle of this stuff. She was shaking and couldnt breathe, complaining her heart was hurting. She is 17 so she's not much younger than recommended. I seriously advise against Red line.
Posted by: Sam at May 13, 2007 04:57 PMI tried redline about a week ago. One day I was just drained & did not have any energy what so ever,so a friend took me to a vitamin store for viatmins & the manager at the store recommended redline for the day which was about 2 pm. The manager did tell me to only drink half then wait 30 minutes & drink the other half. Redline gave me the boost I needed to get off of my butt. I did feel a little shaky later that evening but I ate dinner & everything was back to normal. I did not have any trouble sleeping at all.
Posted by: SweetStuff at May 16, 2007 05:28 PMredline is the strongest energy drink ive ever had.i swagged one from a local 7-11 and downed the whole thing as soon as i left the store.i had a half hour energy buzz and i was cool.its not that intense, everyone who says it is just have low tolerance.
