Liquid Blow Power Pop
Liquid Blow Power Pop
Cost: $2 16 oz
Active ingredients: Sugar cane, Caffeine, Guarana
Rating: 8 out of 10
Well it comes on sweet, but the really sweet taste doesn't stick around to long so you don't get the overly sweet feeling that many other energy drinks have. I best describe the taste as gummy bears, I had to think about it for awhile, but if you remember putting a bunch of gummy bears of different flavors into your mouth that is what liquid blow tastes like. It says it is a citrus berry flavored pop, which would make sense with my description given most gummy bears come in citrus and berry flavors. So I guess it has a unique taste, I have heard other energy drinks described as liquid pixie sticks or liquid jolly ranches, but never as gummy bears, it does stick in the sweet candy themed flavor though. As for the power this pop packs, it does hit you with a healthy dose of energy, it quickly gets you going, it does however crash pretty hard when it does wear off so beware the fall back down to earth when your caffeine buzz comes to an end. So if you want something simple and your not looking for vitamins or any of that other stuff, just pop a can of this and you will get a big caffeine fix for the day. This soda pop, pops man!
(Note: I apologize to Liquid Blow who sent me samples months ago, which apparently got lost shipping or was lost in my package room, so I am happy to finally get a review up for this product. It was definitely worth a try.)

Posted by Dan at October 29, 2006 04:33 PMi have to say Liquid Blow is one of the best tasting energy drinks i've ever had. It actually tastes GOOD and not like a bunch of chemicals thrown together and masked with "flavoring". It's not too sweet, and sorta citrusy, and with a hint of strawberry. GREAT product. Oh and a full can will keep you up all morning in the office.
Posted by: Jonathan at October 29, 2006 07:17 PMThis energy drink is by far my favorate! I am a professional bmx rider and get approached by lots of drink companies for sponsorship. All those other big named energy drinks taste like medicine but Liquid Blow has a very refreshing taste, kinda like sprite with little strawberry flaver. This drink is Awesome and will defenitely give you the energy you need
Posted by: sean at October 29, 2006 07:30 PMMan does this POP get you going whenever you need an extra boost. You drink one can and BOOOM, instant energy!! The thing I like best about Liquid Blow is that you don't have to plug your nose in order to drink it. It is actually enjoyable to drink, unlike many energy drinks out in the market. This is definitely a drink that I will be continuing to buy and tell friends about.
Posted by: Jeremy at October 29, 2006 07:30 PMI really like Liquid Blow, its got a great tropical taste and is full of flavor. It keeps me up too, but it tastes so good in comparison to those other energy drinks. I would drink this as a regular soda! Probably my newest, favorite drink. This thing is going to be hot, you have to try it!!
Posted by: Danny at October 29, 2006 07:47 PMliquid blow is honestly the best energy drink i have had it doesnt make you sick and taste all funky like the others i totaly recomend this drink to anyone and everyone!!!
Posted by: rob at October 29, 2006 07:56 PMI don't get a buzz off caffeine so I can't really comment on its energy boosting properties. But damn Liquid Blow tastes good. Every other energy drink I've had has had an overly strong medicine taste and finishing a can was a challenge. With Liquid Blow there is no struggle to finish a can as it has a light enjoyable flavor best described as 7-Up or Sprite with just a hint of strawberry flavor.
Posted by: Mike D at October 29, 2006 09:02 PMwhat i think of this drink....
I WANT MORE!!!!!
the taste is uniqe (i cant spell to save my life).
the drink is something really good to start a day(i have no grammar)
and this drink is something that you cant get sick of, in my opinion, but still, it gets youo going, what i say, i could live off of this stuff, ITS GOOD!!!
Liquid Blow is the best energy drink ever. Its the best tasting and doesn't make you feel sick like other energy drinks. i recomend anyone who hasn't had liquid blow to have one.
Posted by: Derek Martin at October 29, 2006 09:33 PMEvery other energy drink out there tastes like carbonated flintstones vitamins(which is gross IMO). This drink is actually quite enjoyable. It's got that pleasant Sprite flavor with a hint of strawberry. It's not painful to drink like regular sodas, it's not heavy, doesn't have that syrupy feel to it, and this stuff makes you bounce off the walls. This is by far the best drink out there. Get yourself as many cases as possible.
Posted by: d at October 29, 2006 09:37 PMdude, this stuff rocks! i highly recommend it. best energy drink on the market by far. it tastes awesome and it keeps me going all day. the other energy drinks say they have caffine but u can hardly tell. plus they taste like chemicals and cough syrup. i cant stress enough, buy this product u wont be sorry
Posted by: Matt at October 29, 2006 09:38 PMI love this drink please buy it because it is the only one that works right after you drink it and it tastes good
Posted by: dylan at October 29, 2006 09:46 PMLiquid Blow is an awesome drink! It's really refreshing and light, with no aftertaste. Finally, an energy drink that doesn't taste like a pile of poopies!
Posted by: summer at October 29, 2006 10:02 PMThis drink is awesome!! I love the taste of it compared to other energy drinks that taste like chemicals. I always drink it before I ride (motocross practice and races) and it never fails to deliver the boost of energy I need. I highly recommend it.
Posted by: ryan at October 29, 2006 10:30 PMas everyone can see already. liquid blow is by far one of the best energy drinks out there. it has a very smooth taste unlike most energy drinks in which have an extremity of sweetness or possibly even sour. overall. liquid blow is a great taste and does the job as an energy drink very quickly. i have great feelings about this beverage and believe it can make it in the market. oh and by the way. it tastes great with grey goose. ;)
Posted by: travis at October 29, 2006 11:18 PMThis stuff is great. I'v been drinking it before i go to the gym to give me that extra edge. It taste better then all the different engery drinks I have tasted. Unreal drink with a unreal taste!
Posted by: roderick oh at October 30, 2006 12:14 AMI LOVE THIS DRINK. I CANT GET ENOUGH OF IT. FIRST TIME I DRANK IT I STAYED UP FOR HOURS. THE TASTE IS GREAT AND PACKS A POWER OF ENERGY. GREAT DRINK AND I BELIEVE IT WILL GO FAR.
Posted by: V at October 30, 2006 12:58 AMi got a free 4 pack from liquidblow's myspace page this shit is da BOMBIZZLE!
this energy drink not only works great but tastes great it tastes like sprite and berry it is deffinatly the best energy drink out there. if your looking for a boost of energy or something that taste great "Liquid Blow" is the way to go
Posted by: Ryan at October 30, 2006 03:22 AMliquid blow is the only energy drink that i will even get close to. the first time i tried it, i was hesitant because i hate energy drinks but i was shocked that it actually tasted awesome! its the best!

I meandered over to check things out, but I think I'll stick to coffee since I don't need so much sugar :)
Posted by: Stephen VanDyke at October 30, 2006 07:19 AMLiquid Blow really stands out from the other energy drinks, because it actually tastes good! We even tried these mixed with Vodka, Sochu, and Sake and it worked wonders. The can is about 14 times the size of Red Bull, and it should definitely be enjoyed as cold as possible. Great drink, I just hope it gets some exposure so I can find it at more locations.
Posted by: leonard at October 30, 2006 10:39 AMI saw this drink advertised at a restaurant I was at and thought the name was pretty funny so I decided to give it a try. I expected it to be like all the other energy drinks out there but I was pleasantly surprised after I tried it. It actually tastes good... and I don't mean good in energy drink standards, it actually tastes really good. About half way through the can, I found myself pretty wired so I passed it around the table for everyone else to try. They didn't even realize it was an energy drink. They just thought it was some kind of berry soda or something.
Posted by: John at October 30, 2006 10:47 AMthis is the energy drink people have been waiting for. by far the best tasting energy drink ever! i should know cuz i've tried a bunch of energy drinks on a long trip, at clubs and when i don't wanna drink coffee. why bother with all other drinks that say they've got vitamin stuff that makes your 'think' you're getting the good stuff. besides, liquid blow has real sugar!!! if you want vitamins, pop a couple pills of your mom's supplements. if you want an awesome energy drink, pop a liquid blow~!!
Posted by: Andrew at October 30, 2006 11:11 AMThroughout the day at work, I used to down energy drinks: Full Throttle, Red Bull, Monster, Von Dutch, etc... and all of those drinks have this tart after-taste that just sits in your month forever. Liquid Blow taste completely different and I don't ever make a bitter-face after taking a couple sips. It's refreshing and doesn't make whatever I'm eating afterwards taste gross. I've also used it as a chaser when drinking with friends and it's great for that too! It's sweeter and reminds me of bubblegum almost. It's perfect! When is it going to be in more stores?!?!
Posted by: Kristen at October 30, 2006 11:12 AMI will have to say I have ulti-tested Liquid Blow! On the 2900 mile Los Angeles to Pennsylvania tour I consumed a total of 6 cans of Liquid Blow and made it all the way to Springfield Missouri before taking a mandatory rest and recovery. In total I finished the cross country trip in 3 days. This is excellent considering this was a solo trip with no Co-Driver. I reccommend this product to anyone that needs to have extended coherence while doing extended non physical activities. I have also used this product prior to weight training and noticed a performance endurance curve increase of 30% ~ as in increased repetitions before failure ratio. In comparison to some drinks from other popular manufacturers such as Worldwide Bodybuilding, Liquid Blow had loger sustained energy levels. So in endurance weight training (10-14 reps per set) I feel this is an exceptional product. The taste is also very smooth and reminds me of a soda called Squirt, with a hint of strawberry in it. As with all power drinks, I suggest immediately following up consumption with 12-16 onces of water over the next two hours to keep from peaking to soon. This also allows for a smooth follow through with no nasty fallout after the product has left your system. I will have updated trip pictures and driving log on my website at: www.myspace.com/mc7
Posted by: Ryan at October 30, 2006 11:14 AMLiquid Blow is the only energy drink that I liked because of its awesome flavor. I don't like energy drinks much because of the medicine after taste that most of them have but Liquid Blow was different and it actually taste great. I also got a "POP" from the drink and would highly recommend it anyone!!
Posted by: Andrew at October 30, 2006 11:15 AMbought out the store and can't find anymore. no really i did, but seriosly this is actually a good drink. it doesn't scare you to sipping because you're not sure whether the rush might give you a headache or make u nauseous. and the strawberry and citrusy flavor is also pleasant that doesn't overpower your tongue into a pretzel like some other drinks out there. i've recommended it to friends and all have thanked me.
Posted by: Drew at October 30, 2006 11:22 AMI think the review is pretty fair. I dont agree with the crash. I drink LB all the time and havent noticed a significant downage from the product.
Posted by: Larry Charles at October 30, 2006 11:26 AMI'm not a huge energy drink person, but my cousin made me try some of this stuff and it actually tasted really good. It also kept me up until 2am that night and I drank it at 10am that morning! The weird thing is that it didn't make me jittery, just very wide awake and alert. Next time I go dancing I'm gonna get me can. Did someone say it tasted good with Vodka?
Posted by: Genie at October 30, 2006 11:49 AMNice articlea and picture...keep on going!
Posted by: Jen at October 30, 2006 12:42 PMThis stuff is great. It tastes good and it get's you wired. It's also good with vodka which is important for an alcoholic like me. It gives me that extra boost and keeps me from passing out at the wheel at 3am. Just kidding... don't drink and drive kids.
Posted by: Tizzle at October 30, 2006 12:42 PMThe cleanest tasting of all energy drinks that i've had to date so far. It hits your mouth with a citrus/lemony taste with a hint of strawberry. Then halfway through you're hit with the sweetness of the drink and the best part is the aftertaste which appears non-existant.
It's not syruppy, it's crisp, light, and it kicks like karate in terms of energy/caffeine.
It puts to shame any other drinks i've had, and i've tried a LOT.
Posted by: DRU at October 30, 2006 03:10 PMliquid blow is one drink that is far more superior in taste, and even result. There are many drinks out on the market today, but not all drinks will give you a GREAT taste, and a good result of energy, but even drinking the drink frequently. there is nothing to regret. other drinks can and have turned stomachs after a while but LIQUID BLOW is awsome. so all of the people that enjoyed it also, i fully back it. and encourage more to drink this!
Posted by: aaron guardado at October 30, 2006 03:42 PMi am a bmx rider sponsored by liquid blow, and couldnt ask for anything better.I have tried allot of energy drinks but liquid blow is by far the best energy drink i have ever had, it tastes good, practically a blueberry sprite and doesnt leave any aftertaste like other energy drinks and works right away
Posted by: cody at October 30, 2006 03:56 PMas part of my job, i like to taste test things so i can recommend drinks, snacks, food and the like to my customers. i was fortunate to receive a sample out here on the east coast. with all the energy drinks that are out there, i have to admit that i like liquid blow the best. mind you i am not a big fan of energy drinks. i wish that liquid blow finds it's way out east as fast as you feel the 'pop' upon consuming. =)
Posted by: sue at October 30, 2006 04:25 PMLiquid Blow is unlike more common energy drinks, it doesn't have the sour taste/aftertaste I was expecting when I first drank it. I can honestly say that LB tastes better than any energy drink I've tried. Along with it's great taste it's presentation is pretty clever. The can looks good and grabs attention while the slogan is catchy and funny. I'm afraid stored won't want to carry it because it does refer to the white devil. Other then that, YAY FOR LIQUID BLOW!!!
Posted by: Rex at October 30, 2006 05:57 PMthis stuff is realy really good my friends oleder bro is sopnced by them and so he gets a bunch of it and we took some and if keept us up for like ever with so much energy especally after working the snack bar at our homecomming football game =]]
Posted by: at October 30, 2006 06:17 PMas you can tell by now. liquid blow is definately one of a kind. finally an energy drink that has the perfect flavor. unlike many contenders, liquid blow does not have that strong artificial taste that feels as if its burning your throat. it has a very catchy can design in comparison to a weak oppenent, Cocaine. i have a good feeling about this drink. YAY!
by the way. it tastes great with greygoose :)
Posted by: travls at October 30, 2006 07:01 PMGreat taste. Reminds me of Squirt but not as sweet. I like it cold and on the rocks. Tastes best that way in my opinion. And what a kick! I mean talk about an energy drink. Of all the energy drinks out there, this one goes down the best in my humble opinion.
Posted by: Adrian at October 31, 2006 03:23 PMthe more i drink it the more i fall for this drink. the taste is definitely unique, with no foul aftertaste often associated with other 'energy' drinks. it's cool to know some people actually care about flavors and after taste when developing and marketing drinks.

Posted by: Charles at November 2, 2006 01:29 AMBeing s former Starbucks' freak (Quad Venti caramel Macchiato) and a purveyor of other "energy" drinks... LIQUID BLOW is the shiiii ! This drink is so full of POP it should be watched by the FDA. It kinda reminds me of when I used to partake in illicit narcotics. But the flavor is what really sets this drink off. Some say it taste of GUMMI BEARS .. I think it radiates the japanese Ramune. If you need a little pick me up ... try LIQUID BLOW !!!

Posted by: Yuji at November 2, 2006 09:59 AMVery good stuff...addicting lol. It has a good taste, not too strong, not too sweet, and not sour at all, also leaves no bad aftertaste really. One of the best energy drinks i've tasted.
Posted by: Jordan at November 3, 2006 03:16 AMLiquid Blow is one helluva drink...The flavor is awesome and the energy bump is undeniable. It is all it's 'cracked' up to be... just as advertised, nothing more, nothing less. There is no doubt that LB is the only "energy"-type drink I will consume. I just find it ironic and amusing that all of these things are happening at the same time - Cocaine (Energy Drink) is being greeted with so much disdain and simultaneously being taken off the shelves all while Liquid Blow is picked up by a Soda Distributor (Real Soda).... good times, good times.....
Posted by: Spicoli at November 3, 2006 11:27 AMEnergy drinks are the movement against the biggest Nazis "starbucks"...so drink your fucking energy drink with pride
Posted by: will at November 3, 2006 11:36 AMIt is a little too sweet for me, but, it has no after taste like most energy drinks. It actually tastes a bit better after it's been open a while. It definitely packs a buzz, and the crash isn't too hard. It does tend to get the can opening a bit sticky, due to the use of actual sugar instead of corn syrup, but I appreciate real sugar so it's ok. Overall it's a great way to get going in the morning.
Posted by: Carl Jansson at November 3, 2006 06:04 PMLiquid Blow has a great taste and is LOADED with energy. I love feeling the energy kicking in and i dont have to suffer through a ruff and harsh tasting energy drink to get it. I enjoy the taste and effect of LB and it is the only energy drink that really works for me. Me and my friends are sponsered by them and have been treated with this amazing drink as often as we like, it will never get old.
Posted by: Nick at November 5, 2006 03:14 AMHey everyone! It's D, I just want to thank everyone for reading the myspace bulletins and to thank all of you guys for taking the time out of your busy schedules to comment on Mr. Mayer's site.
I'm so stoked to see positive reviews you guys have given LB. Thanks for giving OCG a kickass week!
Thank you again!
Posted by: POP at November 6, 2006 11:40 AMHey, with this liquid blow, do you get the jitters like coffee, and does it last all day, giving mental clarity, stamina and energy?
Does it cost more than a buck? Can you get it free anywhere to try? Can you make any money from it too? Is it considered a "healthy" energy drink?
Thanks?
Don
for sure the best tasting energy drink or power pop ive ever had. truly makes all other energy drinks taste like a can of ass. definatley sticking with this stuff.
Posted by: kevin at November 15, 2006 09:34 PMall i can say is Wow..an energy drink that actually tastes good, its def. a change and i know its working because when i drank it i felt the caffine kick in. I can't wait for this stuff to go out on shelves, congrats on creating a great drink!
Posted by: Wes at November 17, 2006 01:16 AMI am now selling the Liquid Blow and here's why: I got some samples of it a few months ago and I said to myself... oh boy another canned energy drink. Another carbonated yellow Vicks 44 seltzer with caffeine etc...
Well actually I was pleasantly surprised. First of all the flavor is (in my opinion) like a cross between Mountain Dew and Squirt and a little less harsh and a little less sweet. Then it's not rough on the stomach and as you drink it you can perceive that... it works. Finally it doesn't give you a severe crash afterwards; you don't end up lethargic like with other energy drinks.
So based on all of that I went against my typical attitudes towards canned energy drinks and I started selling Liquid Blow! I'm delivering it around in SoCal. For those who want to get a can (particularly if you're outside of an area where it's distributed) you can get one shipped to you from www.popsoda.com which is a cool everything-shop in Scottsdale AZ that specializes in shipping.
Anyway I give Liquid Blow a very high recommendation!

Liquid blow has a great taste to it compared to some of the other energy drinks I have tried. I get my boost of energy pretty fast once I have a can of it, the cost is awesome compared to what you get for other drinks. I would def. recommend people to try this drink out
Posted by: dana at December 8, 2006 11:35 AMMr Pop came by the set I work on and was kind enough tokick down a bunch of this incredible drink. I'm a huge energy drink junky and this is my new favorite. It's got a smooth taste and gets you rollin'.!
Everyone on set loved it..and i hear it goes well with Vodka....say goodbye Redbull!
Well let me tell you about Liquid Blow.. hmm where do I begin. Well it was offered to me by a friend and it immediately grabbed my attention.. no not by the name it was the color and design of the can. I said okay.. this probably is gonna taste like crap because the packaging was so appealing... Well let me tell you something.. I proved myself wrong. This was the best drink I have ever had. I've had them all.. from Redbull to Monster to Rockstar. But Liquid Blow was in a whole other category by itself. It was very tastey.. I didnt down the drink. I took my time and enjoyed the flavor. It was nice to actual taste a drink that didn't taste like medicine. This was sweet and very satisfying. I asked my friend if he could give me some more so I can take them home. My friends tried them out and they enjoyed it just as much as I did. I for sure am telling everyone about Liquid Blow and that they dont know what they are missing out on.
