This is a lighter energy drink, trying to build momentum by being the first energy drink made with natural spring water. I guess with the Hydrive name they are hoping to hydrate you to power and energy. The drinks come in attractive bottles in a variety of flavors. Since there is no carbonation in these drinks I definitely feel like I got re hydrated while drinking one. This flavor Dragonfruit, taste nice I don't actually really know what Dragonfruit tastes like, but I can best describe this drink to have a mildly tart mandarin flavor with a slight sweet cherry after taste. I really enjoyed the refreshing crisp flavor, light, and refreshing flavor. It left a cool calming sensation on my throat after I finished each sip. I definitely liked this flavor far more than the lime flavor from Hydrive. So if you want a lightly flavored crisp water with a bit of energy boost, the Hydrive line of products, with the verity of flavors your bound to find something you like. The downside is that they don't pack a huge energy punch, while you do notice a slight energy boast, which is smooth without a big drop off, it isn't something that will really keep you going if your sleepy. I mean if I was very tired this drink wouldn't really have a big effect on that. In fact I kind of want to take a nap right now just thinking about how little energy it gave me... hehe Anyways these are a welcome different kind of product on the market.

i am rachel
when your parents tell you that energy drinks are bad for you. they are not always neccacarily right because, they just create it in your mind to beleive you have energy. When your really onnly after the taste. This dragon fruit is delicous i buy one everyday, on my way to school and on ym way back and sometimes at night if im going to a party. But it doesn't make you hiper and it doesn't make you have like mad energy. The drink is good so if you, like it have it but don't act all crazy because you think that your gonna have a lot of energy
1-10 taste is a 5 for me. mild energy, good for studying not partying.
Posted by: vain at December 15, 2006 06:40 PMHydrive is one of my favorite energy drinks. I have to disagree with rachel, although the energy boost is mild, it definatly perks you up. I work at a grocery store that carries these drinks and prefer Hydrive to other energy drinks at work for the reason that it wont make me very hyper, just help me stay alert on the job.
I recommend trying all the flavors, I am partial to the Blue and Red colors myself.
