This drink tastes like the most bitter part of any energy drink, if you took only the most bitter parts and combined them, this is what you would get. Admittedly the drink recommends mixing with fruit juice, but man this stuff taste horrible. I do like that they are honest about how much caffeine is in this tiny power packed drink, 200 mg. So yeah this drink does pack a punch in a tiny package, but I don't think it is quite worth the price you pay by tasting the bitter putrid liquid. If you do need a tiny package to carry around that can instantly add 200mg of caffeine to any drink of your choice this drink will do that job, and it will do it well. I think them labeling this fruit flavored must be some sort of joke as I don't think they made any attempt to hide the horrible taste. Straight oz for energy, this drink is a powerful force, but I do enjoy my drinks so I will stick with something I can enjoy. Some hate all energy drinks, but think they work well, if this is you, then you can shoot this down even faster for a horribly tasting kick of energy.

I had this drink once...it tasted like fruit flavor mixed with what I would think ass would taste like...not recommended
Posted by: Sortable Turnip at March 22, 2007 04:08 PMi love them, they dont give me the crash that other energy drinks do. it takes the place of drinking several cups of coffe. i work outside, about 55 hours a week; when its hot outside, i dont like hot coffe. it gets me goin at 5 30 a.m. ... DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN BUY THEM AT A WHOLESALE PRICE? Sams in Memphis doesnt carry them anymore. please e-mail me if you have info .

I would like to talk with you about the most awesome energy and health drink you will ever taste! I live in Fl but I will be in Memphis from May 14-31st. We will be hosting a tasting at a church fellowship hall. Homeland church on James Rd before you get to highland in the raleigh area. It will take place on May 19th Saturday at 3pm. I would totally recommend "upshot" to anyone driving long distance. Drove 12 hrs. GA to IL needed too,
turn around a few hrs. later and drive back. I never heard of this drink until a truck driver
had mention it. It work almost instantly woke right up.I consumed 3 bottles through out the whole drive. early morn. than 7 hrs. later and finally 9 hrs. The taste is bad! Taste like crushed aspirin or some kind of medicine. I ended up taking 3 mouth fulls followed by a shot of water each time. By the 3rd bottle I was getting used to it. Its not a drink you can just sip on.
It really works !!!!!!!!!!!! Drive safely

If you mix the coffee flavored one with an equal amount of milk, it is like chocolate milk and is quick and easy to drink and the taste is excellent!!! Same with the others, they need to be mixed with something else to make them taste better. They work great for energy, lasts all day, and helps curve the appetite too!! I actually lost weight drinking two of these each day morning and noon.

5 hour energy is soooooooooo much beter
it tastes like vodka. strait forward. if you have ever drinken vodka. it tastes like this. but because it is so small, you can chug it down and get the taste out of you moth. gives you a ton of energy with no crash.

Upshot worked instantly and lasted a while. I didn't endure that "crash" feeling like with some other energy drinks. I have tried lots of drinks: Red Bull, Full Throttle, Monster and I hate, hate, hate the way they taste but Upshot tastes great and it works!
