Seriously if you had to guess what a Tampico energy drink would taste like, I am pretty sure you would guess exactly this. It has a strong tasty orange flavor, it is a bit to sweet, and it doesn't taste very natural. Now has Tampico not tasting natural ever stopped anyone from drinking it? No! I drank Tampico with vodka frequently through out college, because I was broke and it was tasty and cheap. My guess is you will start to find this 16 0z drink a bit cheaper than some of the energy drinks on the market, if they could get down to $1.50 that would be a pretty sweet spot. This drink doesn't really have a medicine taste which is good, it really tastes like a slightly carbonated Tampico with a bit of a kick to it. This drink didn't get me going crazy but it certainly kept me going to get my stuff done today. I was running around town, programming, and working out today and I never really got tired, I was just ready to go. So if you have ever been a fan of Tampico, there is a good change you will like Tampico Energy, or if you just want some nostalgia of drinking Tampico after a soccer game (someone's parents always had some Tampico), well this might just hit the spot. Ah I miss youth soccer, good times, and many I had energy back then I probably would have run marathons if I had energy drinks at that age... Tampico energy drink is as they say, "El Mas Bravo!" Not that I actually know what that means... Someone translate for me...
