Americans young and old crave high-octane fuel, and doctors are worried
Some doctors are getting worried about the total amount of caffeine we are beginning to drink. I think that is an interesting and worthwhile concern to have. I mean I don't worry about most energy drinks because they are only a bit stronger than coffee, but when you start drinking multiple drinks a day or coffee and energy drinks the total caffeine count can add up quickly it would probably be a good think to start to study a little more.

In the past three years alone, the number of 18-to-24-year-olds who drink coffee daily has doubled, from 16 percent to 31 percent-and some of them go on to pop prescription stimulants such as Adderall or Ritalin for late-night study sessions.
