Apparently this is the tag line, "The original formula you've come to love untampered with." The problem is I always thought it was syrupy and kind of gross. It just seems think gross and dated. Some don't even call it an energy drink, some call it the original energy drink. It is a cola like Coke or Pepsi but with a lot more caffeine. So if you really always just loved a coca cola in your hand when you were a kid, Jolt might be the closest you get in the energy drink world. For me this drink is just high in sugar, bad in taste, and can't compete with the newer energy drinks in terms of flavor or energy. Does it pump you up, I guess more than a coke, but less than most energy drinks on the market. They boast, "Natural Caffeine", even if that is your thing the natural and healthy market? This has way to much sugar to be healthy, and their are far better all natural energy drinks on the market. I guess I like the fact that I remember the good old days when it was just Jolt. The problem is it isn't those good old days now and I have a bunch of other options. I don't have to have a gross syrup just to get my caffeine in me. So sorry Jolt I do miss you, I remember you, but I have moved on don't take it personally I just don't need you anymore. Jolt cola, just like every other cola, but with more caffeine and a thick oil like consistency!
