This drink is really more of a Gatorade sports drink. I probably wouldn't review this drink, but it makes such energy drink like claims. "Heighten Energy, Sustain Focus, and Recover Faster" These sound like many of the claims made by energy drink companies. It also claims "Amino Vial for greater Fitness and higher performance." So after reading all the claims I decided I owe it to you the loyal energy drink readers to check it out. So it isn't an energy drink, which is why is gets the low score. It just doesn't pump you up and keep you awake, and you know what that is fine, it does what a sports drink needs to, keeps you hydrated and full of amino acids that you sweat out quickly. This is a great drink if your going for long runs, cardio work out, doing anything that will make you sweat all day. So there it works just fine, but it doesn't heighten energy, it just lets you push the energy level you have longer. So if your looking for a good sports drink this might do ok, but if you want an energy drink this has no caffeine, no B vitamins, no taurine, and none of the other common energy drink ingredients. So onwards with the taste, not very good kind of a watered down fruit punch flavored sports drink, less flavor, more water, more salty taste. So if you like salty fruit punch you might like the flavor. If you really like sports drinks it might be worth checking out and work better for you than others, but if you want an energy drink steer clear, because this is not an energy drink.
