Recipe for Disaster alcohol and energy drinks
I hate stupid reporters. This article has so many errors I don't know where to start.
"the excessive amount of sugar, ephedrine...", Energy drinks haven't had ephedrine for years, you know cause it is illegal.
"but now there`s a new trend to mix them with something that can also be hazardous - alcohol." Not a new trend this has been going on for about 5 years. Also you know what can be hazardous ANYTHING, seriously you probably want to take down all the monkey bars and coat the entire world in foam, because you once heard about a child scraping his knee. It is call personal accountability be safe with alcohol and with caffeine, you ever had a rum and coke? People have been drinking that for generations.
"Doctors are calling the practice a sort of legal speedballing." Yeah your Doctor is a nutjob two then when your comparing caffeine and booze to heroin and cocaine you know you have gone off the deep end.
"Some have as much as 80 milligrams per serving, and there are at least two servings in every bottle or can." Actually some have as much as 300mg, and many drinks only have one serving while some has two in a can. Have you had coffee? Starbucks coffee can contain 370mg of caffeine per cup, I bet you had coffee before writing your insultingly uninformed article.
"That`s four or five times the amount of caffeine in a cup of coffee." Not even close Redbull sitting at 80mg has 4.5 less caffeine than Starbucks.
Starbucks Grande Coffee 16oz 372mg 23.25 -caffeine database
From the article:
