Boa Bebida Energetica rocking out the spanish/latino market. This local Denver drink is trying to appeal to the latino energy drinkers out there. Does it have a chance to knock them away from the mighty monster? It is pretty good this drink has Agave, and is made with no High fructose Corn syrup which is nice. This lime flavored energy drink was pretty good and gives you energy for sure, pumping you up more than a can of red bull easily. So if I seem to be talking it up, why only a 7.2 (which is well above average), well the flavor. To me this agave lime drink tasted mostly like a bitter Mountain Dew. I used to really like Mountain Dew and this drink was close but with a weird bitter after taste and that kind of turned me off to the drink a bit.
So outside of the aftertaste I liked this drink and had to give it a shout out because its from Denver, and I got to give my locals a little bit of joy. This drink has launched around here with a primarily Spanish ad campaign which is interesting because this is perhaps the 3rd drink I have reviewed that seems to be targeting primarily Spanish drinkers, the first drink I saw go that route was Tampico Mas Bravo Energy, so I guess perhaps that market hasn't exploded as much yet, but people are predicting that it will? Best of luck Boa, you certainly don't constrict energy...
