Definitely not my favorite energy drink, I tried it today for the first time and it didn’t really do it for my taste buds. It has kind of a candy taste to it, not something that I would drink a whole can of unless I really needed the energy. Speaking of energy, it does have a good kick to it, I feel really pumped right now but not as pumped as I feel after a Rock Star.
I don’t think this would mix well with any alcohol, unless it was mainly alcohol and not much of this energy drink. There are not many calories which is a trend right now, if that’s what you are into, so that’s a plus for some.
As with all the other Monster Energy Drinks the packaging is really cool. I like the blues they use and the fonts, it all fits together really nicely. Pity about the taste, oh well you can’t get it right every time. Look out for my review on Monsters new range of coffee energy drinks, now that’s a whole different story!
