The fascination with a low carb diet has been dead/on life support for some time now primarily because many of the products tasted bad or lacked taste altogether. Wired Low Carb Energy Drink is not one of these beverages.

The can's packaging is adorned with Wired's signature racing flame graphics. The racing flames on this package are more subtle than other Wired beverages simply because the racing flames are silver against a white background which does not provide a visual "pop". The words "sugar free" and "low carb are quite obvious, though.

The flavor of this energy drink was quite flavorful and sweet. Yes, it provided familiar flavors which you would expect in an energy drink, but the sweetness was smooth and pleasant. We did not taste any bitter off-notes.

We experienced a light boost in energy shortly after drinking this energy drinkthat lasted for several hours. If you are looking to pull an all-nighter or party 'til dawn, there are other beverages that will deliver the needed power.

Speaking of partying 'til dawn, the pleasingly sweet taste of this beverage would pair well with clear alcohols and be a nice change of pace to what you are currently drinking.
