RED BULL ENERGY SHOT

Red Bull- Energy Shot
Cost: $2.99 for 2 fl oz
Active ingredients: Vitamin B12, Taurine, Caffeine, Vitamin b6, Pantothenic Acid, Niacin
Rating: 6 out of 10
Calories: 25 per serving (1 serving per bottle)

As Red Bull continues to dominate the energy world they have come out with their own version of a energy shot. The bottle looks like the traditional Red Bull can with its blue/grey scheme. I've always been fond of the Red Bull look as it is classy and professional. This was the first shot I've ever tried before so I wasn't sure what to expect and was a bit apprehensive. Intially the taste was sweet and similar to the Red Bull taste. After a few more sips you can taste how concetrated the shot is. The taste is very distinct and leaves a strong aftertaste similar to cough syrup. With the 80 mgs of caffeine in this puppy I'm not sure if sitting down and playing video games was the wisest decision. I was so wired I probably could've ran a half-marathon, instead I sat and yelled at the screen when the computer wouldn't respond as fast as I was moving. To its credit though I felt an instant impact in my attitude and energy.

Bottom Line- The Red Bull Energy Shot lived up to my moderate expectations in taste and energy level, I may have chosen a more motor-skills oriented activity to exploit all it had to offer. If I was going to pick a shot up in the future, this one would be on my list..near the bottom.
