I needed a new product to review and couldn't decide which one to try until I spotted
Shotz Energy while Christmas shopping. According to their website
http://www.shotzenergy.com/ they have six flavors, two of which were available to me. The first shot I tried, Red Bull Energy, I made the mistake of sitting down afterwards. This time I made sure I had something to accomplish after consuming the energy shot. First and foremost it was near impossible for me to twist open the two shots because of the shrink wrapped sleeve around the bottle. I had to cut both of the seals to open the bottle. They both had a good amount of flavor but were quite sour and packed a lot of punch. The viscosity was good as it was not too concentrated. I felt a moderate rise in my energy levels as I spent the next couple hours reorganizing my warehouse. I didn't feel the need for a break and had no noticeable negative effects.
Bottom Line- Shotz Energy was a bit too sour for my liking and the fact that I couldn't open the bottle was a real negative. I liked the energy level I noticeably felt when I finally got to drink it. All in all I'm not sure If I would go out of my way to pick up this product in the future.
