Religions hate Redbull?
This has got to be a joke. A alert reader sent in to me. This is a link about a church group condemning redbull because it caused orgies in their bible schools. If this isn't a joke i am seriously worried about what people can believe is a fact. It reads like an article out of the onion. Anyways if you want to read about how red bull is a tool of the devil. go for it...
Starbucks Double Shot Espresso
Starbucks Double Shot Espresso
Cost: $1.50 6.5oz
Active ingredients: Caffiene
Rating: 6 out of 10
I've always been a big fan of coffee, which also means that I am a big fan
of caffeine. So when I first discovered this drink, I couldn't resist
giving it a try. The Double Shot tastes just like a chilled espresso, which
means that it is going to have a stronger taste than your typical Frappucio,
so they may be a bit too potent for the casual coffee drinker. The buzz
that these things provide is rather disappointing. They usually keep me
awake for about an hour, but then after a while it fades fast. I guess it
is because this drink only relies on it's caffeine content, and does not
contain the b-vitamins and guarana and such that we've grown to love in our
current batch of modern energy drinks. I would only recommend this to fans
of coffee drinks looking for something with a bit more of a kick.

SoBe Adrenaline Rush
Sobe Adrenaline Rush
Cost: $1.99 8.3 oz
Active ingredients: Taurine,Ginseng,Caffeine, guarana, B6, B12
Rating: 7 (out of 10)
I had a real hard time deciding on a number on both of the SoBe adrenaline's. They have a very good pump upedness and a good taste, but the good taste in both cases is quickly replaced by a bad aftertaste. Seriously this sugared up SoBe has a great initial taste but WHY does it have an after taste that is best described as ball sweat. It has a very very musky after taste. Some people really like that after taste, but not many people i know. On pump upedness you really can't beat SoBe by much. Seriously this will make you keep on ticking. Great job there. I do get a little jittery on it so i wouldn't try to study on it but it is great for going out and party on the town with this stuff. I get this stuff went i really want to get wild and active, otherwise get something with a better flavor.

I had a real hard time deciding on a number on both of the SoBe adrenaline's. They have a very good pump upedness and a good taste, but the good taste in both cases is quickly replaced by a bad aftertaste. the sugar free version is a little less musky of an aftertaste. It has the familiar fake sure after taste that many sugar free versions of any drink has. It does get you going good and heart beating faster. I mean SoBe does know how to get you reved up but they really both have a taste of sweat in their drinks. I was very close to giving this a five for the taste, but it does mix really well and it pumps you up a lot so i gave the sugar free a 6 and the regular as you see i gave a 7 for a little better taste, but oddly with a little worse after taste.
