This is quite different I guess, an energy water. I have to give Hansen's some props, considering that this product is essentially taking on Gatorade and such. I have to say I like it as well, it is low in sugar, low in carbs, and big on taste. It is still a lighter taste as would be implied by water. It is very refreshing, and seems like it would be very good for athletes that are into energy drinks. This would be something great to have during a run or a hike. I liked the berry taste, which was far different than other energy drink tastes, it was very smooth. It was also a non carbonated beverage which is still rare in energy drinks, which I wish would become a little more common. The energy from this product is fairly low though, it doesn't contain any caffeine so it obviously doesn't have the punch that many do, but I think this is really targeting a different market, as I said before the Gatorade market, and in that sense I think this will be a success. It is really good so now all they have to do is get the word out against Gatorade's aggressive marketing.

This drink I was not a huge fan of. It wasn't very impressive in anything. I guess I can say it is nice that is has far less sugar than the average energy drink. It just wasn't that tasty, it didn't pump me up a lot, it had a weaker flavor so it didn't cover the taste of alcohol as well. It wasn't really bad at anything either just average. It does have a different taste than red bull so if you don't like the red bull taste maybe this one is worth giving a shot, other wise, I would avoid it and just try something else. I guess this will be a short review since nothing really stands out about it.

Ciclon energy drink
Ciclon
Cost: $1.50 250 ml
Active ingredients: Taurine, Caffeine, B2, B6, B12
Rating: 5.5 out of 10
This energy drink does a little better than the last, but not by much, mostly just cause it isn't so sweet that I felt the need to induce vomiting. This is a pretty bitter drink actually with a taste best described by pouring some coffee into a regular red bull. Seriously this taste like redbull mixed with coffee, how weird. Since so many actually like the taste of coffee it could be good? Not for me thought I like energy drinks far better than the taste of coffee but you coffee drinkers out there try this and let me know how it stacks up in your heads. So while the sweetish vitamin taste of redbull is there, there is a more dirty like flavor as well... and odd mix to say the least, but it does very successfully hide the taste of alcohol. I am not such a fan obviously, and it didn't seem overly impressive about how well it pumped you up. So that put a little damper in the whole thing as well. So I guess it just leaves me wondering at the end why anyone would go for it? Oh well leave taste to each their own...

Alright another energy drink that tastes different than redbull, unfortunately it tastes like blue cotton candy that has been covered in a sugar coating. Seriously this is far to sweet. No one really wanted to finish it, cause it was so sweet that after awhile it just got to you. The blue cotton candy flavor was truly the defining taste of this drink. As for how pumped up it got me, well it was pretty good, but not better than average... just a little jolt but nothing to get to excited about. So while i was having circus flash backs from my extended sugar high, I began to wonder why so many energy drinks make the mistake of over sweetening. I know that most anything containing caffeine gets a little bitter, but many drinks are just far to sweet, that might be the largest complain I hear from people about energy drinks, that they are all just far to sweet. The other most common complaint being that they taste like vitamins or medicine. Anyways this was very lightly carbonated and didn't hide the alcohol so well because of the soft flavor... It was like mixing vodka with sugar water, so this drink in general should be avoided, unless you really like your sweets sweet.

Alright this is a little pouch that you squirt into your mouth it is supposed to pump you up better than a cup of coffee. I guess that idea is that is is like a shot of espresso or something. The problem is that it is disgusting. It tastes like a bunch of dark mud liquefied in a blender that you squirt into your mouth. It is bitter and gross to no end. No one that has tried any of the flavors of pouches from this company have liked the taste. Luckily there is only a small amount to ingest, but the energy should come quick right? Oh no there isn't much energy ever coming from these. It just didn't pump me up at all and the aftertaste sticks around for a long time as well. I guess the closest taste it would resemble would be coffee but that is a long ways off still. I wouldn't recommend this at all. So avoid this run from this burn this if you ever see it.

Alright I forgot to review these for awhile cause I lost them, but when I found them what a little treat. Seriously everyone that had them liked them, there is no weird aftertastes or anything like that which many of the other energy candies had. This stuff was really good. I will say that it doesn't pump you up a whole lot, but it is a nice little pick me up, people that had them told me they felt noticeably happy after taking them. I figure that must be a good thing. Also some girls in my office who love gummies said they were some of the best gummies they have had. Leave it to Germany to make the best gummies cause they do. Anyways this is a wonderfully unique and delicious product. If you ever can find a pack to try I highly recommend giving it a shot. I know they are looking for distributors around the globe, so any fun American companies want to start to import this stuff so I can buy a pack at like 7-11 or something? Very fun, tasty, and cool. If you remember my review of the Rhino drink it was pretty good as well.

Another drink I am kinda against from the start to me this tastes a lot like cranberries, which I hate cranberry juice. I added a point on to the rating just cause I know how much I hate cranberry juice and I know that many others like it. With that said if you like the taste of some weird cranberry like carbonated drink, this could be it for you. The pump upedness wasn't that great, less than average. So the only thing that did stand out is that cranberries while gross do hide the taste of alcohol very well, you could mix this stuff really strong and it would still taste really good, which is cool. I just wasn't a fan of the flavor, but I will admit it started tasting better the more that I drank it. A friend had this to say about the drink though, which was some pretty harsh words.
"They're fucking terrible! It's something like cherry coke mixed with prune juice. Disgusting! They're only slightly better than those super espresso shot packages you received not too long ago."
