Liquid Blow Power Pop
Liquid Blow Power Pop
Cost: $2 16 oz
Active ingredients: Sugar cane, Caffeine, Guarana
Rating: 8 out of 10
Well it comes on sweet, but the really sweet taste doesn't stick around to long so you don't get the overly sweet feeling that many other energy drinks have. I best describe the taste as gummy bears, I had to think about it for awhile, but if you remember putting a bunch of gummy bears of different flavors into your mouth that is what liquid blow tastes like. It says it is a citrus berry flavored pop, which would make sense with my description given most gummy bears come in citrus and berry flavors. So I guess it has a unique taste, I have heard other energy drinks described as liquid pixie sticks or liquid jolly ranches, but never as gummy bears, it does stick in the sweet candy themed flavor though. As for the power this pop packs, it does hit you with a healthy dose of energy, it quickly gets you going, it does however crash pretty hard when it does wear off so beware the fall back down to earth when your caffeine buzz comes to an end. So if you want something simple and your not looking for vitamins or any of that other stuff, just pop a can of this and you will get a big caffeine fix for the day. This soda pop, pops man!
(Note: I apologize to Liquid Blow who sent me samples months ago, which apparently got lost shipping or was lost in my package room, so I am happy to finally get a review up for this product. It was definitely worth a try.)

Hiball Energy Orange Soda (Dan's Review)
HiBall Energy Orange Soda
Cost: $1.50 10 oz
Active ingredients: Taurine, Guarana, Ginseng, B6, B12
Rating: 3 out of 10
This taste like nothing but soda water. I guess it sort of a horrible orange flavor. In fact it tastes much like orange vodka, which if it was a mixed drink and gave you a buzz might be OK, but this just tastes like crap. Seriously this is just thickened club soda, I doubt anyone that made this drink actually tasted it. It doesn't pump me up near as much as most other drinks out there, about the only good thing I can say is that there is only 10 calories in the drink. Yeah guess what it has no sugar, so what it has no flavor or taste, or at least no taste worth ever experiencing. This doesn't pump you up, it doesn't taste good, it doesn't do anything so, I say write it off as one of the many worthless energy drinks out there, grab yourself something else and walk past this clear water looking energy drink, because with hi ball is nothing to get excited about.

Metro Mint Spearmint water
Metro Mint Spearmint water (Not an energy drink)
Active ingredients: H 2 the O
cost: $1.50 16.9 oz
Rating: 6 out of 10
I know this isn't an energy drink, but I had to review it, because it was such and odd and unique drink that I came across. I have done this only a few other times, so please don't blast me for being off topic. Anyways, this is just flavored water, and it sure taste like mint. I mean you whole mouth fills with a cool feeling, it is like you were chewing 10 sticks of spearmint gum all at once, OK maybe not that strong, but this has some serious spearmint in it. I was interested to say the least, over all I can't say if I really liked it, I mean it might not be as refreshing as water, I wouldn't want to chug a bottle down or anything, but if your just looking for some water to sip on for taste and to stay hydrated, this isn't a bad choice, it is something new and different so if your bored of trying to drink 8 glasses of water every day, you could give this drink a shot to mix it up some. It is purified, and refreshing by the sip with a cooling relaxing effect, it can let you just close your eyes and fade into the cooling sensation for a moment, so I say if nothing else this drink is worth trying, because who knows this might just hit the spot and make you want to drink more water every day.

Cocaine Energy Drink
Cocaine Energy Drink
Cost: ?
Active ingredients: caffeine, ?
Rating: ? out of 10
Alright Cocaine is by far the most talked about energy drink on the net right now. This drink has been selling like hot cakes and attracting tons of main stream media attention. It was a clever little gimmick that paid off huge. Anyways, I can't give you a review on this drink, because I can't find it. I have been searching around, but really with no luck. If you have tried Cocaine please leave some comments, let other readers know how it tastes, and how much it pumps you up. With 280 mg of caffeine it has more than 3 times the caffeine that most energy drinks have, it almost seems like it would be to much and make you feel sick, but who knows, maybe this is just the super kick many people have been waiting for, a huge kick with out any of those diet drugs that make you feel so sick. So is Cocaine energy drink all hype, or does it really pack a hit?

Who's Your Daddy Green Tea Energy Drink Citrus
Who's Your Daddy Green Tea Energy Drink Citrus
Cost: 2 16 oz
Active ingredients: Taurine, caffeine, B6, B12
Rating: 8 out of 10
Who's your Daddy is back again with a new flavor, this time they are taking a shot at Green Tea, it seems all the new energy drinks are either Teas or Juices? Oh well I guess I can't complain because I like each of these groups for different reasons. I mean I like all the good stuff in tea for your body, I like that it is more natural and has been around as a form of an energy drink for hundreds of years, and now is just getting the extra kick to catch it up with the times. I like the juices, because I have always enjoyed a good glass of juice most mornings. Anyways, many of the teas get overloaded with sugar when they make their way to the energy drink companies, that would be my biggest complaint against Who's your Daddy Green Tea as well, but I must say it is a refreshing a delicious flavor. Anyways as far as the tea's on the market go this is up there as a good option, I will leave the same 8 score that I gave to the original Who's your Daddy energy drink. So if you dig the tea thing, but want to get more of a kick you can't go wrong with 800mg of Taurine, 100mg of caffeine, and all the B vitamins we have come to love. Well done my... Daddy, daddy why don't you ever call anymore, daddy why don't you love me.

Rating: 4.25 out of 10
Archer Farms energy drink, well Target is making an attempted at that energy drink market. On pretty much all accounts they come up short, this is the kind of drink that was created by a bunch of rich fat people that have never had an energy drink in their life and really don't understand why this fad is around, they just know they want to be a part of the profit from it. Well Die young in a fire Archer Farms energy drink you

Guayaki Yerba Mate Empower Mint Energy Drink
Guayaki Yerba Mate Empower Mint Organic Energy Drink
Active ingredients: Yerba Mate
cost: $2.16 16 oz
Rating: 6.25 out of 10
This is a hippy happy organic energy drink, and it isn't to bad. It is powered by Yerba Mate, which has appeared in other drinks, but in a pretty limited form and amount. This drink is a tea that has been drank in Paraguay for thousands of years. It is basically their coffee, to me it tastes like a more earthy and a little more bitter than green tea. This was the mint flavor, which isn't as good as their Raspberry flavor. I guess the mint gives a bit of taste of a menthol cigarette. A friend of mine who used to chew said this drink tasted like drinking the spit of a mint chew. He couldn't handle more than three sips. Now I don't expect many to have such a bad reaction, I would say the original and the Raspberry flavor, were favored by everyone. So if you like the idea of a different and little more powerful tea, I would really recommend trying out some of the Yerba Mate, but I wouldn't go for the mint flavor as it turned more than one person off of the drink. I liked the taste pretty well, although it still had a pretty strong earthy flavor I would have probably added a packet of sugar if I had one around. Anyways this energy tea as I feel it should be called is pretty good, packed with 24 vitamins, 15 amino acids, and antioxidants i guess I just feel kind of healthy drinking it. Does it have the power and energy that other energy drinks bring to the table? No, it doesn't have the kick that red bull or others pack, but it does have a highly useful difference it has a very calming energy and awareness. This is a drink to stay up late and work, or to stay up and study, it seems to not mess up the clarity and focus in your brain which a lot of other energy drinks do, you know the jittery feelings that accompany to much caffeine. This drink keeps you focused and ready to think. So I would highly recommend Yerba Mate, for studying, reading, writing, and that sort of thing. Anyways, this would be worth a shot if you want something that is entirely different out there on the energy market, just wait till I review the loose leaf Yerba Mate, I like the loose leaf better than any of the bottled flavors, it is just like loose leaf tea, but I think it packs way more of a punch than most teas I have ever had.
