So I've been thinking about the meaning of life. It seems like everyone is searching for something to give their life meaning. What if that is a waste of time? I read somewhere that life is not a project. It's true, if we spend all of our time trying to make something out of our lives we might miss the important stuff. But what is the important stuff? Here in America we place so much emphasis on education and success. Where does love and family fit in? And what about fun? Does anyone remember what fun is? Well sure but you can't have fun unless you're uber wealthy and able to take fantastic vacations.
So there you have it folks you're trapped. You're forced to live the American dream or at least waste your life trying to.
Posted by nicole at September 14, 2004 04:06 PMthe meaning of life is to fornicate. we are all here just to reproduce. mothing that you do will change the way that the world is.
your born, you strive for wealth and love then you die. end of story.
Posted by: vegas at September 14, 2004 07:30 PMYou can have plenty of fun without money. Vactions are nice but having fun is as easy with hanging with a group of friends. Also sometimes you don't stive just for money, you strive to accomplish something because some goals can help change the world and have a positive impact on many people. Helping make the world a better place for everyone to live. Family i am sure is important, but not just for the sake of reproducing as Vegas above suggests.

Posted by: vegas at September 20, 2004 03:56 AMJuan,
I've told you this before but i'll say it again anyway. I understand that the concept of "changing the world" seems impossible and maybe it is. I do believe, however, that by helping only one person you can change their world. Even you've changed someone's world along your way.
i may have changed "someone's world" but i can most definatly assure you that it wasn't for the better.
