Latina Pride

In the office at work:

The Asian asks the Mexican, "Where can I get some information about Origami?"
The Mexican to the Asian, "Um, shouldnt you be asking yourself that question? I know about beans you know Asian stuff."
They both turn to me, I point at myself and say, "Enchiladas."
We all turn to the Black girl and she says, "Collard Greens."
The four of us turn to the white girl, her response: a shoulder shrug.

Thats cause white people done really have any quick refrences to our culture at least not so much in the U.S. where all other cultures are noted as the different ones and the regular white culture is considered the normal one.

I am sure in other countries there are things considered very american white person, but i cant think of them. The best example would be how many americans make fun of the french for surrendering.

American?
Hot dog.. German
Pizza.. Italian
Fish and Chips.. London
Burger.. American?

We have such a loose identity of our culture because the majority of american culture is just a hodge podge of other cultures that we have no real self identities, which is why you hear americans of 3 or 4 generations still identifing with their roots because at least any other culture has some sort of definition...

I love sweden... Ha

Hey fuck you Dan! I'm second generation here you cock sucker. I'm more generationally swedish than Nicole is mexican. I'm sure if you were an american in europe you'd identify with others like you. That's all it is. Comradery in a society with no self identification.
